Convenient location near Cambridge Park and Ride, Addenbrookes hospital, and Hinxton Hall Conference Centre. Guests praised the cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and efficient service. Some enjoyed the cracking view from room 8.

Even though the hotel is far from Cambridge downtown, it is clean and surrounded by several stores where one can get everything when needed. The reception ladies are very handful, and they provided help when we needed it. Getting an Uber from the hotel is also tricky, as it depends on the time of the day you request one.

I booked a Travelodge for a family event last weekend. Unfortunately, we suffered an unexpected loss of a relative and had to cancel the event. I had not booked a flexible hotel room as I hadn’t anticipated that our gathering wouldn’t take place or that we would have a bereavement within our family. I contacted Travelodge, and requested, as a gesture of good will, whether they would provide a refund due to extenuating circumstances. I did not expect a refund, given the booking I’d made, but I did hope for one and I certainly didn’t expect the response I got. I cannot express enough my sheer disappointment/shock by their response. I have been asked (less that a week since this loss), to provide a death certificate as evidence of my bereaved relative. Not only is this insensitive, it is entirely unrealistic to ask me (not the immediate next of kin) to request a copy of a death certificate, this is also personal/ confidential and not something I want to be sharing with Travelodge. Mortified by their customer service and lack of compassion.
