Hyatt Centric Cambridge ★★★★
"The TV was on when we entered the room, so we didn't realize the power button on the remote was broken, and the TV itself had no buttons. We ended up staring at a glowing TV at 2 AM and had no choice but to call the front desk. The front desk staff's attitude wasn't great, and they didn't even apologize. The air conditioning in the entire building was broken, and the front desk chose not to inform us in advance, even acting self-righteous when we called. There were wasps in the room before we opened the window. We couldn't open the gym door with our room key and had to ask the front desk for access. Overall, I'd say you'd probably have a better stay asking on Xiaohongshu if you could rent a student dorm at the nearby Girton College."
Travelodge Cambridge Orchard Park ★★★
"Could not thank Chelsea,Brooke,Vitalli and Olena enough for the hospitality not only during our stay but for the atmosphere they raised with minimum help during the world cup matches. Having family just up the road in Waterbeach we will definitely be returning."
Ibis Cambridge Central Station ★★★
A welcoming city stay featuring a lively lounge with live music, free luggage storage, and a convenient location just steps from Cambridge Station and near the University of Cambridge.
Novotel Cambridge North ★★★★
"Clean, quiet, good gym and pool (note that you have to request a separate access key for the gym), and a decent number of power and USB sockets in the rooms."
Wilde Cambridge City Centre ★★★★
"Most enjoyable stay. Brand new facilities and well kept. Communication could be better with the WhatsApp AI being a waste of time in dealing with certain requests."
YHA Cambridge ★★★★
"I had a very pleasant stay. The location is excellent just a short walk from the train station and within easy reach of the city centre and riverside areas. The hostel was clean, well organised, and felt safe throughout my stay. My room was simple but comfortable, with clean bedding and sufficient storage space. The shared bathrooms were well maintained and regularly cleaned. The staff were friendly, professional, and happy to help with directions and local tips, which made settling in very easy. I also appreciated the communal areas, which were relaxed and suitable for catch up with other travellers or just unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Overall, this hostel offers very good value for money and is a great choice for budget-conscious travellers visiting the city."
Turing Locke Cambridge ★★★★
Contemporary comfort meets relaxed city living, featuring spacious rooms with kitchen areas, rooftop terraces, and a peaceful lounge, conveniently located near the University of Cambridge and local shops in Eddington.
Travelodge Cambridge Central Hotel ★★★
"Clean and well maintained and within an easy 10 minute walk of the train station. The hotel itself felt secure but it's not the nicest area."
Hilton Cambridge City Centre ★★★★
"The hotel's location is excellent, convenient for visiting both the academy and the market square. The room size, facilities, and breakfast all meet Hilton standards. There's also a large shopping mall right next door. Overall, I'm very satisfied."
