We stayed in villa bonita number 17. We were not entirely happy with the Villa for reasons I won’t go into now. If it wasn’t for the issues we had and the resort management’s handling of the situation it would have been 5 out of 5. We lodged a complaint while we were there and also wrote to them on our return. It’s been a month since we returned and there has been no response from the resort management or an apology. This confirms what we felt when we were there, that they don’t care. We are not the complaining type but our gripe was valid and they eventually moved us with 4 days remaining of our 12 day booking. Moving mid holiday is not good, especially when you have a fridge full of food. Did they help? No. So we done the lot in 30 deg heat. In between the initial complaint, on day 1 and the day they moved us, we had almost daily visits from the maintenance team to try to fix the problem to no avail. I’ve given them enough time to write back. I will give it another week and then I shall come back on here and let you know what the issues were. Along with my opinion of their restaurant manager. I expect better from the management team as a whole. But, as I said, they don’t care. Someone will always come if you don’t.

Cambrils For context this is our first experience in a resort like this. We usually do all inclusive resorts Villa size - super impressed with the size of the Villa for our situation it was great for our 10 year old to have her own room and the small one in the cot in another room, usually we’re all very close together. Pool variety - The variety of the pools and the depths was a huge plus for us. Both kids (and parents) enjoyed the slides on offer. I’ve seen others mention more slides for variety and I agree to a point a different option for the bigger kids would be great but if you’re staying for a week the novelty will eventually wear off. Safety - The most important aspect. We always felt like the kids were safe, especially the eldest to go on a wander to get ice creams etc Food - apparently it’s to do with the time of year but we found the food to be fine to good. Except for one bad experience with the goujons in the forum - Bakery & Shop were excellent no issues whatsoever Entertainment - thought it was great most nights were there, small issue but very little English spoken for two of the evinces during the kids disco, they hadn’t a clue what they were being asked and told to do but got on with it, it was a bit of craic. - Cash only deposit was a bit frustrating for the basketballs etc Housekeeping ( first timers do your research) - Our first time here and we mentioned that to the reception it would have been nice to get a bit more information around when we checked in about the fact in the villas there is no changing of the sheets for those staying 7 days and the fresh towels are brought in every 3 days, however we never got them. We weren’t far from reception thankfully so was handy enough to get some but still not ideal - Housekeeping deposit. No mention of this before we arrived and was a bit of a shock that we had to pay €100 and then for us to be in charge of all the housekeeping was again just not something we were used to or aware of. - Mixed messaging from staff around deposit for the iron. Receptionist advised it was €15 and I went to go and the lady in the laundromat said it was €30. She was extremely unimpressed that all I had was a €20 not but reluctantly released the goods - Staff were great at reception but in bars and restaurants they did seem like they were at the end of a busy summer Can see why it’s so popular but wouldn’t be for us again.

Lovely resort but some improvements needed. This was our second trip, but not sure there’ll be a third. The resort itself is clean and beautiful to look at. The staff were lovely, particularly in the restaurants and bars despite being very busy in the evening. There was a nice variety of pools. The bakery and supermarket are excellent and reasonably priced. The entertainment in the evenings was mostly good (our kids loved the African acrobats in particular). The snack bar near the Pirate’s Pool was our favourite spot for lunch. The atmosphere around the main pool in the evenings was always electric. However, there were a few negatives for us. We had quite a few cockroaches in and around our accommodation. They need some better water slides to keep the kids interested. The food in the restaurants was okay at best, and way overpriced in our opinion. The service at the ice cream shop is very slow at peak times - you’re looking at 20-25 minutes queuing to get an ice cream before the show starts, which is ridiculous. Some of the shows were poor, in our view (e.g. the magician). The beer being served in old Magners glasses is also an annoyance, when you can walk out of the resort and you’re given a nice chilled branded glass in a local restaurant. Overall, the biggest negative though is the price of the place - it continues to shoot up without any discernible improvement in the quality of the resort.

It was our first visit to Cambrils Park (kids 11 and 9) and we will definitely be back. It is just a lovely place to spend a holiday. The facilities are very good, the staff very helpful, the takeaway, bakery and super market really handy. We felt that while onsite, it wasn't overly expensive. The miniclub was a bit hit with our girls. Some of the entertainment was a miss (too many hulahoops and people climbing chairs!) but some entertainment was great (the Queen tribute as an example). We would recommend renting bikes. Cambrils itself is probably a 4km cycle away from the resort. Cambrils is a lovely town. The cycle route by the beach is perfectly safe. Salou is probably 3/4k cycle the other direction, again totally safe cycle routes. Salou is nice too. All in all, great holiday.

Always a great time in Cambrils Park, and most of the improvements have been terrific. Couple of minor ideas and one major thing! 1. There were plenty of electric cars on site, be good to get a few more charging points in the car park (glad to see e-scooters seem to have been banned!). 2. Tiny one, but the new large white slide in the pirates pool, has a nasty bump/lip at the end, we were getting bruising on our lower backs, the old slide was a lot smoother. Be also great to invest in some bigger and better slides, maybe in the bar pool (holidayed in La Rive in France last year and the slide features were so much more fun). 3. Lastly, the new gravel at the VA bungalows is *horrible*. I understand it may be in response to the droughts in the region in recent years, but it looks really dreadful and hugely reduces the play area for kids. If there's a reason other than water conservation that this has been introduced, please reconsider, it looks very grotty!

Our 9th visit to Cambrils Park this summer. Our 2 boys have virtually grown up here and have loved every minute they've spent here. Definitely say the service in general was a lot poorer this year. Only 1 person in bakery in afternoon meant service was slow. Same for restaurants at night, meant we just out in the Town. There was a very large cost increase on this stay over previous years (normal price hike year on year was €10-20 per night, closer to €100 per night increase this time). Was first time we've left without booking for next year but may still return as kids are very happy here.

We have visited Cambrils park 7 times between 2012 and 2025 and my children loved it as much at 17 and 15 as they did at 2 and 4!! My excellent rating is swayed by the number of wonderful family times we have enjoyed at this safe, friendly, clean, reasonably priced place to holiday over the years. Cambrils port on the bikes is amazing too for a proper authentic wander or food/drinks. We decided this year would be our last, mainly because the focus of the park is definitely on younger children but we left with more happy memories and a tear in the eye to be saying goodbye! A couple of suggestions to keep the excellent rating:- 1/ agree with comments about the grass being removed at VA’s. We stayed in a VB which we went to multiple times and having a patch of well maintained grass for the kids to play football on and us to sit at was lovely! The plots at VA’s with stones looked messy and unsafe for kids to play. Don’t turn the whole park into stones and reverse the stones to grass at VA. 2/ our last night was spoiled by noise coming from a villa behind where lots of people were outside between 11.30-3am. In previous years, security would have stopped this as they came round in buggies regularly but nobody came and there should not be noise allowed at a family resort 3/ the sunbeds at the pools should be replaced, they seem like the same ones which we used in 2012 on our first visit and are now falling apart. Also, there should be many more sun umbrellas. Quality hotels would have 1 umbrella per 2 beds. I think this would help stop the rush of families with young children to secure loungers at 10am and 3pm. We never tried at 10am as cannot be bothered queuing on a holiday but 3pm was usually ok for a bed but we could never get an umbrella. Also the umbrellas were unsafe and turned over in the wind, mostly because they were often not in the original base. This is dangerous. New loungers, new and more umbrellas and stricter pool etiquette would resolve and make for a more chilled, safer and fairer experience 4/ to keep families with older children coming back, allowing use of a small ball in pool would give them something to do or perhaps create an adults only area/pool for age 15+. Also, a more relaxed attitude to allowing teens who are members of clubs and gyms to use the gym or attend classes would be great. The main staff member on gym reception was rude to my son and wouldn’t allow him in, he was also inconsistent allowing in other 15 year olds. Hopefully feedback is helpful in how to maintain an excellent rating. Thank you Cambrils Park for the many wonderful holidays over the years. We sign out from Scotland for the last time……

I had a deeply troubling experience at Cambrils Park Resort involving my 14-year-old son. He was assaulted on the Astro pitch by an older boy, resulting in a a very swollen black eye. Shockingly, staff didn't offer any medical help. To make matters worse, my husband was verbally abused by staff when he tried to address the situation. The staff rather than defusing the situation exacerbated it. Given these serious lapses in safety and staff conduct, I wouldn't recommend this facility and will not be returning. Children should be safe to play football without being assaulted by older kids.

Accommodation was good, it is expensive but clean, comfortable and AC perfect. Also nice to have fresh towels every 3 days and sheets after 7. Pools on site are fine but frustrating you can only have inflatables and balls in 1 v small area of main pool. Makes the pools a bit boring for slightly older kids. There is also generally sun loungers available in pool areas in the afternoon, which is great after the 3 pm reopening. Real let down in this campsite is the food… the only place that food is decent is the chill bar, the other restaurants are a real let down. It leaves you with the only option to head to Cambrils for dinner in the evening. It would also be nice if they showed live sport in other locations. It’s only in the sports bar and it’s only inside, lot of other camps have TVs outside under shade for big sporting events.
