Brit Hotel Alghotel ★★★
"A night of passage on our way to Brittany. The hotel is very well equipped and well decorated. the rooms are functional and well equipped. The bathroom in our room is poorly designed with a shower that splashes onto the floor making it unsafe. The toilet is also too close to the wall which must be a design error. the service and reception is friendly and helpful. the breakfast is generous, well stocked and varied with good products. The value for money may be a little tight but remains correct. We have not tested the SPA. The location of the hotel is correct but not within walking distance of the center for less young people. The parking is appreciable for the very tourist destination of Cancale. A good address for a stopover or maximum 2-3 nights. There is no bar or alternative way to get drinks after reception closes (which is way too early)."
Le Village Cancalais ★★★
"Frankly, I've rarely been so "astonished" (to put it politely). We booked for eight people: four adults, two children, and two babies under two. As any parent knows, babies don't take up much space (except in your heart and sometimes in your ears at night). When we picked up the keys, there were no problems; everyone was happy. But the next day, surprise! A receptionist showed up at our accommodation, like a NASA inspector checking the weight of a rocket. After I explained, he coldly informed me that "the house is limited to six people." So far, so good. But the best part was the "advice" he gave me: "Look for another hotel next time, definitely not here." Classy, right? Let's be clear: it wasn't a comment about the bedding or the number of chairs around the table. It was humiliating, inappropriate, and—I feel it deeply—motivated by the color of my skin. In short, not a check of the rules, but a check tinged with very real ******. The result: a ruined stay, a hurt family, and one certainty: we will never set foot in that establishment again."
Auberge de Jeunesse HI Cancale ★★
"A hostel without infamy or glory. Convenient location. Private parking. Wonderful view."
La Metairie du Vauhariot - Chambres de Charme Vue Mer - Piscine Intérieure Chauffée ★★★
"Lovely stay at the Metarie Du Vauhariot. We had two rooms across from each other on the top floor, which was a perfect arrangement for our family. Check in was very personal. Comfortable rooms and the blackout shades made them very dark. Nice beds. Highly recommend!"
Le Chatellier ★★
"It can be said that I love it very much, next time I go to Conkale, I have to punch in a hotel! Very quiet, we went late, when the staff got off work, we self-help throughout the whole process, that place will post a small note of your name to tell you where your room is, the experience is very good!"
Les Hauts de Port Mer ★★★
"By the location and overall by the equipment the accommodation was good"
L'Emeraude ★★★
"Centrally located on the Quai, small apartment for up to 4 people, appliances are partially not in use ..."
L'Annexe ★★★
"We spent a super stay at the Annex. The accommodation is very recent and very clean. It is very well arranged. The room allows baby beds to stay. The accommodation is ideally located, close to all the comforts.A small also for the pro"
Le Havre du Port - T2, Quiet, Sleeps 4, Near Port ★★

Lagrange Vacances les Hauts de la Houle
"Fine location close to the harbour and the oyster market. But… this is probably well suited for families with smaller kids who want to play in the pool. However - Promotion pictures do not reflect the reality. Interior is worn out with cupboards almost popping out, when being opened, damaged kitchen table and other furniture also with broken off elements. Even worse - when taking over the house, they ask for a cleaning fee (or you do it yourself), but they do not ensure proper cleaning. In our situation, pillows were stained with old milk or food, walls in the hallway with plenty of black finger marks, fridge was not clean and smelling of old food. And the bathtub filled with yellow marks of unknown age. Sleeping pillows also with old stains from previous residents. Upon complaining of the poor quality and the lack of cleaning, they sent a cleaning assistant after 2 days. And it helped. But interior was not fixed. We left 3 days prior to planned due to the poor conditions of the house. Asking for a cut of the cleaning fee with reference to the first two days in a dirty house. Suddenly the property manager did not remember having received any complaints even though having accepted to send out personnel for extra cleaning. And even though he had the documentation in front of us. Result: full rental fee for a property not in full condition (even when recognising it should not be as brand new). Full cleaning fee, even though we had two days with a dirty property. Not even an excuse for the poor quality and experience. Recommendation: choose elsewhere, or ask for an up front discount, if things are not as described in the material. We do NOT recommend the Cancale Lagrange Vacances at the full price."
