"Pasquale and mum are real gems. They went out of their way to make us feel special and well looked after. I had forgotten to order gluten free,but Pasquale was magic-they had gluten and lactose free croissants available! We really felt welcomed there,and they didn't blink an eye when we asked for a 6am breakfast. The room is beautifully decorated,the bed very comfy and the whole place is just a short walk from the Reggia,shops and mouth-watering eateries."

"What a find! We wanted to visit the Royal Palace of Caserta in Italy and was lucky enough to find this jewel. We had a little trouble finding somewhere to park upon arrival in Caserta. Carla and Nicola came to the rescue, meeting us and having us follow them to discounted parking, then took us and our luggage to the B&B to check in. They went over and beyond. The parking was really simple once we saw where it was. It would have been easy to make a brief stop right in front of the B&B at Corso Trieste 11, unload our bags and then park just a short distance away. They gave us great recommendations for places to eat and were quick to respond to any questions I had. The Palace was a very quick 5 minute or less walk. Carla even assisted me in getting our tickets. I would definitely recommend the Artistic Charming House to anyone who wanted to visit the Palace of Caserta or just to visit the area."

Hotel Amadeus

"Amadeus is a reasonable hotel. The bed slept well and the bathroom was great. Some disadvantages were the mediocre breakfast, the broken smoke detector and the poor isolation (could hear my neighbour on the telephone like he was standing next to me)."

Caserta Deluxe Bis

"Sometimes the measure of the quality of your stay is how well your host handles an unexpected problem. By this measure, the Caserta Deluxe Bis deserves 5 stars. The morning of our two-day stay, the apartment we had booked lost water service due to a water main break. Michele, our host, was very apologetic and immediately arranged for alternative lodging at his other property, Caserta Deluxe. He secured free parking for us in the very busy area of this other property, drove us to our visit at the Caserta Royal Palace the next day, then walked us to the ticket office. He also moved us to our originally booked flat after the water problem was fixed on day two. After we checked out, he escorted us to the highway to ensure that we got there successfully. Throughout our stay he and his wife provided wonderful recommendations on restaurants and what to see at the palace. Both properties were very clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Thanks, Michele, for being a warm and wonderful host!"

L'Insolita Reggia

"Our balcony was a nice amenity and worth the increased room rate to walk out onto the balcony. We saw the Royal Palace just outside our room and a lively piazza. The balcony door did insulate the room from street noise. Traffic below the balcony was heavy from 5pm to 9pm, but quiet afterwards. The bathroom had big fluffy towels and a nice free standing drying rack. The shower was spacious shower. The bed comfort was satisfactory. There are adequate electrical outlets for charging telephones. An espresso maker in the common are was a very nice amenity. Breakfast was provided by using a coupon at a nearby cafe. The coupon included cappuccino, fresh squeezed orange juice, water and a pastry. The walnut pastry was amazing. Automobile parking was off-site. It is not included in the room rate and it is not free. Metered parking goes from 8am to 9pm. Overnight it is free. The parking pay kiosks did not accept credit cards, so you must have plenty of coins. Visitors can park only in a limited number of blue outlined spaces, located about 250 m away."
