We arrived at Cardiff Central by train, which is 15mins walking to this Premier Inn. It was very welcoming and staff friendly, rooms clean, with as much tea and coffee, which you took from the travellers store at the main entrance. My only gripe is as I have dietary requirements, They couldn't cater for them and had to make do with what was on offer. No gluten free food at night, Only what I would call general burgers, lasagne, steak battered fish and chips. Only veg on offer was peas. In this day and age Hotels need to cater for a variety of people's health conditions. Vegan/vegetarians are not Gluten free or Ibs sufferers or Celiacs. Which are complicated problems. It would be helpful if they offered something which could be adapted. .

The wifi is very bad, I was forced to buy 5 pounds a day for the internet. There is no shower head. The heating is not enough, it is very cold when sleeping at night.

My friend I always stay in premier inns when we go away, and this is one of my favourites! beautiful communal space, comfy beds and great value food and drink. Ashley in the bar and restaurant absolutely made our stay with his bright and funny conversation. Made us feel like he was talking to old friends! Can't wait to come back!

Always stay in a premier inn and usually love this one however the sink drain smelt so bad and had hair stuck in it. There was also a huge stain on the carpet. Despite this the beds are always super comfy and the location was perfect. There are always many good food and drink deals too

Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff. Room was immaculate. The train station was practically next door. The free storage lockers were very useful. Would definitely book this hotel again when visiting. Only possible negatives was that some breakfast items had been standing a while and there was no decaff coffee to be had at all but would not put me off staying again.
