"Brilliant location! Not far from Cardiff Central Station. Close to the Castle, the Market, various Arcades, and Bute Park for Cardiff Boat Tours to the Cardiff Bay. Lots of eateries and nice restaurants nearby too. The indoor swimming pool is absolutely a plus."

"Well located, next to Cardiff Central train station close to everything. Not located in Cardiff centre but short walk only about 10mins or so. Super clean n comfy AC room. Clean n new towels. Shampoo, conditioner n body wash provided. A safe deposit box but without a mini fridge. spacious family room as per website pics. Located at G floor n have to go down n also climb a few stairs before reaching room.Laminated floor which is a plus point which is more hygienic. Toiletries provided upon requested. Friendly n helpful staff and able to assist more than expected. Truly Satisfied stay. Wil stay agsin in the future."

"Wifi in the room didn’t work I had to check twice with the reception but it didn’t work I had to go to the lobby to access wifi. Despite having allowed to check out at 1pm housekeeper still knocked on my door at 12pm. Receptionist gave wrong info about going to the city. They made mistake with my number of luggages. Very disappointed with this Marriott property"

"Great front service staff. However, no face towels or tissues were in the room. Bed was uncomfortable. Excellent location, we completed lots of walking. Buffet breakfast was awesome"

"Positives: Receptionist on the desk was nice and polite. The room itself was large, had a kettle with coffee etc, iron and ironing board, shampoo and body wash, comfy large bed. Negatives: the hotel was so loud not from other rooms but from outside, I did ask for a quiet room. But was woken again at 4am with the sound of bass that carried on until 5am! Should have guessed it was going to be noisy when the receptionist mentioned they could provide ear plugs if needed! The receptionist did say if it was too loud we could move but it wasn’t at 3pm. And there was no point in moving at 2am when we heard the outside noise. If I could guarantee a room that was definitely quiet I would stay again."

"Decent hotel, centrally located close to the train station making it a very convenient place to stay. Staff very welcoming and took into account my special request and booked me a quiet room which was appreciated. Breakfast, nothing special, just like any other hotel breakfast in the uk. Good views at the breakfast area, staff on hand to help and often going out of their way to help. Service was 10/10. Rooms themselves felt a little old and could do with a touch up but comfy enough for a short stay! Coffee machine too!"

"Very satisfied with a stay. Hotel location is very good, five minutes walk from the train station and bus terminal, and 15 minutes to Cardiff Castle. There are several supermarkets and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. Although there are not many reviews on Trip.com , I saw that the hotel business was very good when I checked in, and there were many foreign tourists staying in the store. The hotel room is very spacious, enough to spread out two trolley boxes, the bed is also big enough for two people to sleep. Although the hotel is located close to the street and train tracks, the room is quiet: carpets are laid in the corridor to avoid noise, windows and walls are soundproofed, and no train or street noise is heard for two nights. The room window has a good view and you can see Cardiff Bay. There is air conditioning in the room, and cooling and heating are fine. There is no drinking water in the room, but you can pick up lemonade for free on the first floor of the hotel. The front desk that helped me check in was very warm and friendly, and took the initiative to introduce the activities held on the day of Cardiff Castle and explain the route in the past. I regret that I forgot his name. I remember that he was a young white male without glasses. I have traveled in several cities in the UK this time, and the front desk of this hotel is definitely the most welcoming of the hotels I have stayed in. The fly in the ointment is that there are two employees on the first floor of the hotel at the same time, and there are hotels on the first floor, restaurants, bars, vending machines and luggage storage. I feel that the employees are very busy, whether it is the restaurant ordering, checkout or check-in, luggage, It takes three or five minutes for them to come over. The staff are friendly and conscientious, but really busy. It would be nice if the hotel could arrange more staff on the first floor."

"I couldn’t not fault the hotel, I amazing stay the staff were very helpful and friendly too. Hotel is right by central, easy access to pubs and restaurants. The room was fabulous too OMG I didn’t wanted come home. :( I had room service I had pasta bolognaise which was blinking lush I wanted another one."

"Amazing reception service for 24/7 hence need to submit keys every time u step out which is good as no stress of handling keys and loosing it ! Rooms are good cozy and comfortable . Good tv channels Tanle fan , hair dyrer , towels, provided Its a main highstreet with all restoaurants near by. So its ok opt for rooms without breakfast"

"It's pretty good in Wales. It's very close to the train station. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is very popular. The bar at night is also good."
