Catania International Airport Hotel ★★★★
"The rooms are big and clean. Free shuttle to the airport."
Hotel Sofia ★★★
"Nice hotel, centrally located, everything nearby, bus also from the airport to the hotel."
La Zagara B&B ★★★
"We stayed at La Zagara between September 13 and September 15. The B&B is very well-maintained and comfortable. It's right in the historic center. Mina is welcoming, helpful, and always ready to accommodate your needs. If we return to Catania, we'll definitely stay at La Zagara again. Laura and Pietro"
Tra l'Etna e il Mare Via Oberdan ★★
"Well-located B&B. Well-equipped room. Very good value for money."
Hotel Manganelli Palace ★★★
"Great location, good breakfast"
Il Principe Hotel Catania ★★★★
"Excellent location and wonderful stay there. Everything is close and you can enjoy Catania and Sicily without any issues."
Dome ★★★★
"The room is very big. It is no problem to spread out the luggage. There is a small kitchen. It even has the hotel facilities in China (shower cap, razor, cotton swab, slippers). The towels are thick and the bath water is very comfortable. There are 2 TVs in the living room and bathroom respectively. The landlord is very enthusiastic. He helped with the luggage even though there is no elevator. He also enthusiastically introduced the surrounding attractions. You can buy water and food on the commercial street. There are a lot of graffiti around the hotel. It seems to be like this in the whole Catania. It is about 1 km away from the train station and long-distance bus station"
Made To Measure Catania Centro ★★★
BASTIÒ Private Suites ★★★
"1. The hotel photos differ significantly from the actual hotel. Cleanliness is lacking, especially on the outdoor terrace and outside the hotel entrance, which are filthy and appear to have not been cleaned in years. 2. The breakfast is poor, but for €25 per person, they can't even make omelets, and there are only one or two options, not much to eat, and no fruit. 3. The hotel has two floors, with the first floor serving as the restaurant. There are only five rooms on the second floor, and no elevator. Luggage is carried up 20 steps to the room. There are no room cards, so you're given a handwritten password, which is your room number. Since everyone knows the password, it's very unsafe. The main unacceptable thing is the smell of cooking fumes from the restaurant, which wafts into the room. 4. It's essentially a B&B, but it's listed on major platforms as a luxury hotel."

Hotel Romano House
"Antonio, the bar manager, was fantastic!!!!! Made excellent recommendations for cocktails."
Finestra Sulla Sicilia
"Easy check in as all electronic and sent codes etc by WhatsApp. No allocated parking, it’s just on the road. Area is very dirty with rubbish everywhere, which made it quite unappealing. Short walk to centre for shops and restaurants though. Rooms are on the 4th floor and no lift so you have to walk up over 80 stairs. Room itself was quite basic and small but was fine for a quick overnight stay in Catania. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom very small and basically flooded when you brush your teeth as the sink is so tiny. Jacuzzi bath in room but we didn’t use it. Switched the tap on and realised it would probably take about a week to fill up, so couldn’t be bothered. Was surprised to see behind the curtain next to it was like a utility area. General wear and tear in the room, could do with a little attention. View of Etna from the balcony if you stand up and look to the right, otherwise just views of the unappealing neighbourhood. Very confusing situation with what was included and what was chargeable in the fridge. Sign on top listed all the items in the fridge and their price, then said everything else was free but there was no ‘everything else’, just some milk. Breakfast was just cakes and croissants, not very varied or many options. Overall, not great. Glad we were only there for a night on our travels around Sicily. Positives would be it was clean, secure, quiet and we slept well."
Four Points by Sheraton Catania Hotel & Conference Center
"The room is spacious and the hotel environment is good"
Romano Palace Luxury Hotel
"As a 5-star hotel, it's a bit dated and needs updating. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, varied, and delicious. Friendly staff."
Airone City Hotel
"Great stay! Spacious and clean room with drinks and snacks in mini bar free of charge. Good shower and comfortable bed. Staff were nice and helpful. Underground car park was safe and spacious with elevator leading to the room. Breakfast was super nice, many choices and delicious. Location was a bit far away from center but there was bus nearby. Highly recommended!"
UNA HOTELS One Catania
"This is my second time to stay here since the new ownership. The staff is first rate! They are very attentive and organized. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. The pastry chef is one of the best! The dinner chef is as good as any 5 star hotel i have stayed in. Customers lunger around in the evening and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Visiting the amazing new spa was something that I was not expecting. The dry sauna is beautiful! Out of a magazine. I will be back."
Ollen Apartments
"Very nice place! New, modern, very clean! Offers parking, swimming pool and has a great restaurant. Not on the last place one of the kindest and helping staffs I had seen!!!! Definitely recommend it! I would go back there! They helped us also with reserving few restaurants for us in which the people did not speak english which was simply amazing!"
Villaggio Turistico Europeo
"This is a really charming little place. We had a little bungalow right on the beach. Accommodations are simple, comfortable, and clean. This isn't a resort, but a great little beach campground. There is a restaurant on site, and we were surprised by the quality of the food. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Special shout-out to Luca. We will certainly be back."
Palazzo Sangiorgio
"The hotel is located in a historic little square, surrounded by old buildings with graffiti on the walls. We arrived at night, and my first thought was whether the area was safe, but it turned out to be very secure. Plus, it's pretty much within walking distance to all of Catania's main attractions. The hotel itself is a renovated old building, but the interior design is quite modern. There are contemporary decorative items placed in the stairwell corners, which makes me believe the designer was aiming to create a harmonious blend of classic and modern aesthetics."
4 Spa Resort Hotel
"What ever happened in a four star hotel….. booked and paid for a triple but the room with 2 towels 2 small bottles of water (one sparkling so if you don’t drink sparkling water it’s finished). At 10.30pm we return to the hotel we ask for water and nothing they answer that the bar is closed and there is no water in the hotel, we ask for a bottle opener and nothing We conclude with the lack of cutlery Conclusion 1/2 star service Highly not recommended"

"The location is good. Breakfast is served at the cafe opposite, the bread and coffee are very good."
Cortile Stesicoro
"A B&B with a fantastic location in the historic center, with balconies directly overlooking the main street. Valentina, the owner, is fantastic, attentive, helpful, and very kind. A B&B with everything nearby: bars, pizzerias, shops, etc. I absolutely recommend it ♥️"
