Catania International Airport Hotel ★★★★
"Easy parking. No fee. Near to airport."
Hotel Sofia ★★★
"Hotel Sofia is on the 2nd floor, impossible to get in without a code, no one to help us... no more staff at reception. I suppose we were forgotten in the schedule. Well located, that's all. Second stay, the return, the welcome was nothing special, we were in a small room under the eaves without a window, a room for employees but with newly renovated bathrooms, noises of pipes and pigeons. What a welcome!!!!"
La Zagara B&B ★★★
"We stayed at La Zagara between September 13 and September 15. The B&B is very well-maintained and comfortable. It's right in the historic center. Mina is welcoming, helpful, and always ready to accommodate your needs. If we return to Catania, we'll definitely stay at La Zagara again. Laura and Pietro"
Tra l'Etna e il Mare Via Oberdan ★★
"Very close to the city center, very easy to find, originally the email communication is very good, but unfortunately when I arrived, the doorbell of the building was broken, I couldn't get in for a while, I entered the room, and I was relieved at once. It was very warm and homely. The kind of homestay, it feels like my own home. The owner is not there, the key is on the door, everything is very smooth, there is a super classical small balcony in the room, standing on it overlooking the street view of the main street, the sun is on the balcony, the young lady who loves to take pictures is very good. I went to the kitchen for breakfast the next morning and found that the owner was an elderly couple, very kind, and made an exquisite buffet breakfast. The restaurant was small and exquisite. I chose to eat by the floor-to-ceiling windows. After the meal, I asked 10.30 to check out. I had no place to go, so I sat in the aisle living room to rest. I just witnessed how the old couple carefully did the room hygiene. I was shocked. I felt more serious than I did in my own home! At 12 o'clock they finished the hygiene, and I left the building with them. I still recommend this to my first time in Catania."
Hotel Manganelli Palace ★★★
"Great location, good breakfast"
Il Principe Hotel Catania ★★★★
"Excellent location and wonderful stay there. Everything is close and you can enjoy Catania and Sicily without any issues."
Dome ★★★★
"It's located in the city center, so it's convenient to go anywhere. The breakfast is quite good."
Made To Measure Catania Centro ★★★
BASTIÒ Private Suites ★★★
"1. The hotel photos differ significantly from the actual hotel. Cleanliness is lacking, especially on the outdoor terrace and outside the hotel entrance, which are filthy and appear to have not been cleaned in years. 2. The breakfast is poor, but for €25 per person, they can't even make omelets, and there are only one or two options, not much to eat, and no fruit. 3. The hotel has two floors, with the first floor serving as the restaurant. There are only five rooms on the second floor, and no elevator. Luggage is carried up 20 steps to the room. There are no room cards, so you're given a handwritten password, which is your room number. Since everyone knows the password, it's very unsafe. The main unacceptable thing is the smell of cooking fumes from the restaurant, which wafts into the room. 4. It's essentially a B&B, but it's listed on major platforms as a luxury hotel."

Hotel Romano House
"Antonio, the bar manager, was fantastic!!!!! Made excellent recommendations for cocktails."
Finestra Sulla Sicilia
"The host is very kind and available, which makes everything very confortable. It's easy of access, and the host offers to help you take your luggage upstairs (' cause there's no elevator) The location is ideal. The view from the cute balcony is typical of Catania: Sicilian roof everywhere and the beautiful Etna with the Duomo when you look on the right. The accommodation is good, it's clean and there's everything needed. However, when you look longer there some damaged which make you see it's a bit old... bootle of handsoap is dying because of humidity, there some piece of the shower that fall apart, the sink is not properly fixed. It doesn't make it a bad experience, it diminishes it. (Also, even if it's clean, it's not ideal to have stains on the cousins.)! It’s quiet. Overall it’s good for what it’s worth!"
Four Points by Sheraton Catania Hotel & Conference Center
"The room is spacious and the hotel environment is good"
Romano Palace Luxury Hotel
"As a 5-star hotel, it's a bit dated and needs updating. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, varied, and delicious. Friendly staff."
Airone City Hotel
"A little out of the way...but still nice"
UNA HOTELS One Catania
"Our first glimpse of Una Hotels One Catania, arriving from the airport late in the evening in our rental car, was a big, big surprise. In an otherwise uninspiring neighborhood, behind a high wall, appeared the well-lit, imposing facade of a palace. There were no more free parking spaces in the yard, so we left the car in the driveway and went to the reception, where we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Check-in went very smoothly; we received our room key and the first information about the available services. This included an invitation to use the self-service Honesty Bar, where we could prepare ourselves our evening drinks. The helpful staff also took care of our car – all we had to do was leave the car keys at reception. Our hotel room wasn't particularly large, but the bed was very comfortable, and the balcony had a beautiful view of the sea and even partly of Mount Etna. A wardrobe was a bit lacking—we had to make do with an open coat rack with a top shelf. The bathroom was quite comfortable with a spacious shower, toilet and bidet. During our stay, the hotel itself and its surroundings were undergoing intensive preparations for the season; the hotel's outdoor swimming pool seemed ready, but the weather conditions were not exactly conducive to swimming. It's worth noting that the hotel's best performance was its gastronomy. From the hearty and delicious breakfasts to the incredible evening meals at the "Dinner Restaurant Academy." During breakfast, we were looked after by a lovely lady who truly pampered us. We were also very impressed by the work of the young but extremely talented Chef. We also greatly appreciated the care of the Maitre D', who ensured the appropriate selection of wines and a pleasant atmosphere during the evening meals. In our opinion, it is the People working at the Una Hotel that constitute its greatest asset. We would like to thank all the Staff who made our time in Catania so enjoyable."
Ollen Apartments
"Great place, very professional service. Breakfast very good - individual wishes will be respected and fulfilled. High quality standard overall. The hotel is absolutely recommendable. The location is a bit far from the center but still manageable without car."
Villaggio Turistico Europeo
"Extremely dirty bungalow, terrible food, miserable breakfast, filthy children's toys, sand full of cigarette butts, driftwood, and various garbage (never cleaned up in 4 days). I brought my baby here to play in the sand, but instead he spent the whole time either in the stroller or on the old, dirty beach chairs. Not to mention the toys near the bar, the state of neglect and filth they're in is embarrassing. Extremely expensive for the terrible service and conditions. We even returned a day early, paying nothing. The pictures on the website don't match the truth. Never again!"
Palazzo Sangiorgio
"Nice service and well location with an attractive price."
4 Spa Resort Hotel
"What ever happened in a four star hotel….. booked and paid for a triple but the room with 2 towels 2 small bottles of water (one sparkling so if you don’t drink sparkling water it’s finished). At 10.30pm we return to the hotel we ask for water and nothing they answer that the bar is closed and there is no water in the hotel, we ask for a bottle opener and nothing We conclude with the lack of cutlery Conclusion 1/2 star service Highly not recommended"
Duomo Suites & Spa
"Was an excellent location. Great security door locked all the time. Right in the middle of everything. The square, fish market and food. Easy to get to by taxi $$$ or close to bus route $ not to hard to roll your luggage. Location could also arrange car service. Breakfast was excellent and could request items. Room was well lit and had enough plugs. Also, a/c was able to keep room cool."
Stesicoro InHabit
"Terrific 5 day stay here in this lovely boutique b and b. Room was great with lovely little balcony looking onto the square. Interesting sights every day . Fabio gave us a great welcome with interesting information on things to do around and about. Across the road for coffee and pastries was so convenient too. Lovely stay would recommend. The front door entrance is just off the square with a buzzer entrance. Always someone around to help. Thank you Fabio and the team room always immaculate too ☀️"
Cortile Stesicoro
"A B&B with a fantastic location in the historic center, with balconies directly overlooking the main street. Valentina, the owner, is fantastic, attentive, helpful, and very kind. A B&B with everything nearby: bars, pizzerias, shops, etc. I absolutely recommend it ♥️"
Vivere Hotel
B&B Hotel Catania City Center
"Compared with hotels of the same level, it is still OK"
