"The location is brilliant, downtown San Diego close to every thing. The checking in process was smooth and professional but the receptionist guy was very grim, he gave me the feeling that I am not welcome at all. The room is elegant, impeccably clean and the bed is super, but the air conditioner is rather loud. I gave my greetings to the house keeping as they did an excellent job every day. The complimentary morning coffee was perfect and very good. Upon checkout the receptionists were very nice ladies. All in all a very good hotel to stay in san diego."

We ordered three dishes there, and each one was absolutely perfect – highly recommended!"

"The property is well-maintained. I purposely chose the attic room because we travel a lot and had never stayed in a room like this. I must say we enjoyed our stay, especially because the room is well-designed, as is the bathroom, which is quite spacious. It's located opposite the port and is easily accessible; the Alibus stop for those arriving from the airport or train station is just 100 meters away. The location is one of its strong points, as it's just steps from the Cathedral and from there you can reach every attraction on foot. I highly recommend it!"

"Lovely clean modern apartment. Breakfast had a wide choice with good coffee. In a quiet area and within an 10 walk to restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets. An added bonus was just around the corner was a bar that showed football. All of the staff are very welcoming and extremely helpful."

Just one note but it is not a criticism because I understand that it is a space issue. The breakfast and lunch room is quite small and the restaurant service, but I understand that it is due to the limited space, does not offer the possibility of having a slightly more important dinner. Excellent breakfast However, this did not spoil my holiday at all, on the contrary I felt pampered 😊"

"Disappointing. Upon entering the room, we immediately noticed that the sheets on the bed were unironed, making it look like the bed had been unmade for the night. I believe the manager came to see for herself and reassured us that she would take care of it. When we returned, nothing had changed; in fact, the sheets were not tucked under the mattress. During our absence, the staff member who came to our room decided to leave the windows open, resulting in a freezing cold that evening; it was 12 degrees outside. Meanwhile, we called maintenance, as the air conditioning/heat pump wasn't working, and we also pointed out the condition of the bed. After fixing the heat pump, the maintenance man also repaired the TV, which wasn't working. Disappointed with their choice, I preferred not to mention the refrigerator wasn't working. Since the property has a swimming pool, we asked if it was possible to have bathrobes, but since they didn't have any, they agreed to provide us with two beach towels. We did find them, but they were frayed and badly worn. My reservation was as follows: We confirm RESERVATION No. ......... for 01 Double Room in your name + dog with a supplement of €20.00 per night ............... RATE: €125.00 per night At this point, the amount I should have paid should have been €125.00, plus tax and any services. Unfortunately, this was not the case because I paid €125.00 + €20.00 + tourist tax and 2 coffees in the room. At this point, I don't know how it can have 4 stars and on what basis. I certainly will not return or recommend the facility. I hope they know how to improve and take care and attention to the rooms and therefore care for the customers."

"This is my second time to stay here since the new ownership. The staff is first rate! They are very attentive and organized. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. The pastry chef is one of the best! The dinner chef is as good as any 5 star hotel i have stayed in. Customers lunger around in the evening and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Visiting the amazing new spa was something that I was not expecting. The dry sauna is beautiful! Out of a magazine. I will be back."

"Upon arrival, we had to wait a long time to be admitted, the main door was locked. (30-45 min) The cleanliness was poor, the bedding was not changed, only the covers were re-made. Breakfast is poor. There was no kitchen, the fridge was shared with other rooms, so I don't recommend staying longer than a day."

"The proximity to a bus stop and a large grocery store makes transportation and living convenient. However, because it's not a standalone hotel, but rather a leased portion of a large building, the heightened security can sometimes be inconvenient and unsettling. There are so many keys, including for the front door and the guest room, that if you leave your key behind, you'll be locked out. It's cold and dark...it's terrifying."
