Papali was on the first floor of a very old building, so expect to walk up a few steps with your luggage, because there's no elevator ... But, the Signore who welcomed us was very friendly and even went downstairs - while I already could go into our room - to help my husband find a parking spot on the street nearby. We had a very good night in a simple, but super clean and quite big room, comfy bed as well ... Bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of towels ... The first picture I took in the morning after our night at Papali out from the balcony, the second was taken in the morning when we had our breakfast served kindly in the little dining area ... Btw, Papali is located wonderfully - it's an easy walk to all the main sightseeing spots of Catania! I added some pictures of our evening walk ... Summary: Papali is a great choice locationwise and if you do not want to spend too much, but still want to have a cozy night at a simple but friendly and nice place.

Set in a historic building in the centre of Catania, this B&B stands out for its traditional style and the quality of its service. Despite the lively atmosphere of the neighbourhood, the rooms are quiet, full of light and – hey! – the ceilings are frescoed! The owner is always available via WhatsApp: he brings breakfast to your room at the agreed time and was very helpful in letting us leave our luggage in storage early in the morning and check-in, even though the room wasn’t ready yet, so to let us enjoy the city.

Hotel breakfast is superb! You can also see the snow-capped mountains on the top floor, the service is also very good, very recommended, suitable for vacation, a little far from the city, need to take a taxi

Могут быть трудности с заселением, заранее обсудите все нюансы с хозяином, поскольку я не смог сразу же попасть в подъезд и получил инструкции по заселению в последний момент уже на месте. Чисто, все работает, но хотелось бы больше услуг. Например, гладильная доска и холодильник в комнате не помешали бы. Минимум посуды и чайник были бы очень кстати. В районе есть неплохие места для перекуса и кофе, а также возможность добраться до общественного пляжа пешком, но немного далековато от центра. Хороший балкон, но, к сожалению, мне достался номер, откуда не было видно Этну, которой я так хотел любоваться с балкона. Уборка каждый день.

Great hotel. Efficient check in, spotless room with plenty of toiletries and towels etc. Hotel in a great location between historical areas and lovely parks; bars and restaurants. Special mention to breakfast team, who were lovely each day and always on the go. Catania’s a vibrant place and this hotel really enhanced our trip.

The hotel is in a good position, in front of the sea but not too far from the center, parking at only 10 euros is very comfortable, for the breakfast is both sweet and salty well for varieties and for taste more not Banale the room is very nice with the pool (which is active from 9:30 a.m.). Both the staff of the hotel and the restaurant were available, I am sorry that the restaurant at the fourth floor is not open and I haven't read this communication, but it is certainly a lack of me. The room is still in the right size and has a balcony on the sea so great, the bed seemed quite comfortable. I think the hotel's quality-price ratio can be on, there's some negative note, I confirm that the air conditioner makes a little noise, perhaps for someone it can be ”invasive”, in our room the discharge button was ”unfunctional” You had to turn the key and then press it to pull the water. I'm delighted to share my experience at this hotel. It's truly an excellent hotel: the room was very comfortable and pleasant, with meticulous attention to detail. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail—small gestures like leaving fresh bottles of water and candy every day really make a difference and demonstrate great care and a positive attitude toward guests. The location is also a major plus. It's true that the entrance through the parking lot can be a little difficult to find at first, but once you arrive, you discover that the hotel is in an excellent location: close to the seafront, easily accessible on foot, in a very pleasant, clean, and quiet neighborhood. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will definitely return in the future. I highly recommend it.

Hotel very clean. Great service. Unfortunately, the breakfasts leave much to be desired. But the gratification is great coffee.

I will definitely go back. Practically on the sea. The beautiful beach a few meters from the bungalow. Excellent cleaning. Friendly and pleasant staff. Large green spaces. Restaurant and tobacconist. Nearby there are restaurants, bars and a Lidl reachable in a few minutes by car. Bus stop for Catania center right at the entrance of the structure. Airport 5 minutes away.
