Outstanding
GGuest UserThank you amber hotel. Very comfortable bed, very quiet lobby clean and aesthetic. Though there's a bit of a problem in yhe ac but the maintenance and housekeeping help us right away. Recommend hotel and definitely come back again soon.
GGuest UserCrimson Mactan went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The staff was warm, courteous, attentive and quick to respond. Breakfast spread was incredible, props to the head chef who made sure everything that comes out of the kitchen is of quality. We chose Crimson as our wedding venue and while it rained during our reception, the whole team was quick to respond to transfer everyone to the ballroom to keep the party going! They were also generous enough to hold a foam pool party for us the day after the wedding. The premises were clean and beautiful, rooms are cozy... we have no regrets with holding the best day of our lives at Crimson Mactan!
GGuest UserGreat city view. Room size is above average meaning bigger than other deluxe Seda rooms we’ve been to. Misto resto is with a great view but it can be easily get full and refill takes time especially the bacon. There is direct access to the Mall which is a good thing however there is not much yet in the Central Block Mall but the basics are there. It could have been 5 star if not for the front desk who called in the middle of the night 10:30pm. They interrupted our sleep for a mistake. We were asleep when they called to ask if we’re done with the iron and board which we previously requested but declined because there was no available. Other than that, it was a great 2N/3D. We’ll comeback when in town.
GGuest UserI must start with the most incredible aspect of our experience, which far exceeded expectations. We accidentally left over $1,000 USD in our hotel room safe when we checked out. We didn’t realize this until after we had arrived on Boracay. I didn’t expect to ever see that money again. Certainly, in the US, there’s no chance in hell I’m ever getting that money back. Nevertheless, when I called the Holiday Inn Cebu City, the staff seemed genuinely committed to finding the money and somehow getting it back to me. Once they found it, they called me back immediately and confirmed the amount in the safe. Then, for the better part of two days, the staff visited various Western Union offices in Cebu City to find someone that would exchange the notes into pesos, which they could then send to me via Western Union in the US. They finally found someone who could send all but $300 because those were the older $100 bills that most foreign money changers won’t touch. Oh well, I was more than excited to get most of my money back. I was quite happy to leave the remaining $300 as a tip for their super service. Then, after a couple more weeks, they contacted me and let me know they were able to convert the remaining $300 to pesos. Keep in mind that this is a country where the wage rate is significantly lower than the US and this was a material amount of money. The staff at the Holiday Inn Cebu City was so honest and so committed to excellent customer service that they went out of their way to get the rest of the money to me. This in itself made me a life time, loyal customer of this hotel. Now, beyond this particular amazing experience, the hotel is the perfect spot for tourists. The rooms are impeccably clean and modern, the breakfast buffet was the best we had in Asia, and the swimming pool had a great view and was well appointed. The location is perfect for tourists because lots of places are walking distance, like the Ayala Center. Hands down a memorable stay for a world traveler who’s been to every continent. I highly recommend this property!!
GGuest UserGranada is a special place to stay.
The owners are on the grounds and personally assisting with the guests and things around the resort.
Food menus are set for every other day, which is unique. The food is delicious! A mix between local and foreign cuisine. They’re accommodating with minor changes to each meal if you request it. They also asked if we wanted our Mel served in our room, which is very cool also!
Adults only, so it is a quiet place. Pool is 24 hours. Check out time can be flexible if requested and the room isn’t booked for your check out day.
This is a great place for couples who want a quiet and relaxing place to stay.
It’s nearby Oslob, the place to see whale sharks.
If taking a bus from Cebu city, the trip is about 3.5-4 hours depending on traffic.
The beach is relaxing with very natural sand composition and the sand isn’t connected to the water, it’s above it. Bring water shoes as the water is natural with coral. Great for snorkeling!
At night we found a giant hermit crab on the beach! First time to see one so big!
GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at Solea Hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making check-in a breeze. The lobby was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
My room was spacious and impeccably clean, with stunning views of the city skyline. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including a coffee maker and complimentary toiletries.
The on-site restaurant offered a delightful dining experience, with a diverse menu and delicious food. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had plenty of options to satisfy every palate.
The hotel’s location is another highlight—close to major attractions yet nestled in a quiet area, perfect for a relaxing stay. I also took advantage of the fitness center and spa, both of which were well-maintained and offered a great way to unwind.
Overall, my experience at Solea Pams Resort was exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I can’t wait to return!
GGuest UserThis is a budget friendly choice if you need to a short stay in Cebu city. Its ideally located near JY so transportation will not be a problem. They also have a resto called Tamp but its on the pricier side. Other restos/cafe just across the street as well. I had two overnight stays both booked on Agoda. The second stay, I decided to walk in however the front office desk agent advised me that they did not have availability. Strange. I booked a room via Agoda on the spot and was able to get the room and a good rate. Room pretty basic but it had the necessary amenities like coffee/tea making facilities. Also toiletries. Have to mention that on my 2nd stay, I was given a room that did not smell fresh. It was clean and all but the linens smelled like they did not dry properly so it was annoying. I did not raise an issue with front desk because it was just an overnight stay All in all, they offer better rates than the Yello hotel just across the road. They have long stay and day use rates as well.
5561kateb+ Very clean European hotel - girls on the first floor are washing floors and glass entrance doors; + Just next to the hotel the rental point of the bike (from 300 to 400 peso per day (from morning to evening). + lots of cafes nearby for any budget; + reef with turtles and sardinals right beside. Notes: - Slow wi-fi ; - No breakfasts included; - Deposit 1000 peso. When leaving, they return. - When the lights were turned off throughout the city because of the heavy rain, the hotel had a generator. But only door locks were fed from the electricity produced. A bus with air conditioner to the self from moalboal at 10:00 a.m. 156 peso from a person
JJenThe resort is gorgeous, very kid-friendly especially the pools and play area. Staff are nice and friendly, very cheerful and always ready to help.
A few thigs I hated—
1. Toilet had no bidet, we had to request it but there was no bidet holder.
2. Toilet door had no lock! Our toddler kept on barging in.
3. The room was infested with ants- small and fast ants, and big red ants. I woke up a few times due to ant bite which was annoying. There was a note in the room that the building has an ongoing pest control so hopefully it will resolve this.
Aside from these, everything was good.
DdiannacasoWe saw this place on Agoda and decided to book it due to the following reasons: - it’s near ayala - easy to book grab car fron the location - it fits four people - looks spacious from the photos And it did not disappoint! What I liked about our stay: - it provided our basic needs like hot & cold shower, a functioning AC, fast WiFi... Also, there’s a 7/11 branch just outside the hotel, kfc and chowking fast food chains. - we initially booked only for 1 night but extended it for 2 because of our positive experience. - customer service is satisfactory. Staff were friendly and attentive. - breakfast is inclusive. The resto is located on the 12th floor and has a great view of the city. - budget friendly. Our first night we paid P1845 and P1700+ through Agoda. Not bad for three people (room fits four). What they can improve on: - breakfast was cold and has limited options. We were only asked to choose from fish fillet or chicken hotdog.
