It was a great surprise and became A**weng's biggest gain. The castle-like architecture and atrium have a medieval style inside. It's very good for taking photos and it's very affordable. The room is big and the breakfast is OK. Recommended

Everything was perfect until...they gave us a double room on the fourth floor knowing that the elevator only goes to the third floor. I didn't consent because we were loaded with suitcases, so they changed us to a double room on the first floor. He who wants to does more than he who can... anyway!
One of the windiest nights and a window pane that wasn't glued correctly made an unbearable noise throughout the night so it was a night without being able to sleep a wink. Very good intramuros location for visiting Avignon. Very beautiful building located 4 minutes walk from Avignon Center train station and 11 minutes walk from the Palais des Papes. Good bedding. Welcome swimming pool.
We changed rooms 3 times, air conditioning breakdown at 35°...too many stairs. Bathrooms much too small with bathtub even in upgraded rooms.
Faded paintwork in the rooms. No one at the bar during our week-long stay. Elevators often broken down. Lack of attention to outdated personal breakfast. I think this hotel deserves 3*** and not 4**** as indicated.
