Hotel facilities are outdated. Very general. I just checked in and entered the room. I found that there were a lot of hair on the sheets. I communicated with the hotel front desk in time and changed a room. There was no hair, but I felt that the hotel room had been unoccupied for a long time

I stood here for one night before moving to downtown Savannah and a historic hotel there. I have to say I enjoyed my time at the HIE more than the other hotel in the area. The bed was probably the most comfortable I slept in in a hotel in a long time. It usually takes me a long time to fall asleep in a new bed but no problems here. The location is really good, near the mall and major roadways. The staff is friendly. The room was fairly large and spacious. There was a wedding party staying there for the weekend but there was still plenty of parking. The only major downside was the price of $300 for a night. Crazy for a HIE but it looks as if other properties in the area charge that for a weekend stay so must be a Savannah thing. Would stay again.

The price is relatively low. Breakfast is super simple buffet. A baby cot can be added, and other beds cannot be added. The room and living room are very small. Although there is a sofa bed in the living room, there is almost no space for the living room after opening. There is a parking lot but there is an additional charge. The location of the hotel is also far from the river, about 20-30 minutes. Based on the above situation, I feel that the hotel's price/performance ratio is not high! I don't understand why there are so many praises...

First, the good: the room was perfectly fine: well-cleaned and surprisingly spacious, with a nice desk, too (rare these days). Check-in staff was congenial and good. Now, the downside: (1) the place is definitely showing its age, & in need of a ”refresh.” At the very least, fresh paint would help., but perhaps more could be done. (2) more seriously, when I passed by the food service area (kitchen just behind it) the evening of my arrival, there was a really putrid smell (rotten fish? very stale grease?) that was stomach-turning. I had my $15 credit toward food, and had planned on breakfast, but after that I didn't want anything coming from that kitchen. So, I left early and got breakfast down the road.

This hotel is located in the urban area and the rooms are small, but the health and service are okay. There is no free parking lot. You need Valet Parking, which means a black person will park the car for you every time. It costs $35 a day, which is expensive! Parking is convenient and you have to wait a while to pick up the car. I feel like free parking lots in the suburbs are more convenient to get in and out of. There are not many kinds of breakfast, just a few kinds, the sausage is quite delicious.

There is a parking lot opposite, but the charge is not cheap. I lived in a sofa bed, the service staff was very kind and very safe. After 11 o'clock in the evening, the door was closed and the card was checked in. There was a black brother on duty at the door. The bed is very comfortable and very high. It is very high. I use it. The old beauty facilities are simple and practical. They are not luxurious but not refined but strong!

The hotel is great and is located perfectly in historic Savanna. Everything is within walking distance. If you like the sound of yapping dogs, then this is the hotel for you! We had the experience of yapping dogs next door to our room. The dogs barked during the day and night. After the third complaint to the hotel staff, the sound of barking yapping dogs ceased. The hotel staff said they would take care of it and it seems that they did. Keep your animals at home. There is no need to inconvenience others because of your selfishness. Dogs aren’t children. I’d rather hear the sound of children than yapping dogs. I will certainly find a hotel that doesn’t allow dogs on my next visit to Savannah. Breakfast at the hotel is not worth it. I recommend going to one of the local establishments. Overall, the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly.

Great Hotel. The staff was fantastic. They offer a shuttle service to Tanger outlets so husbands can relax at the hotel and wives can enjoy shopping. They also offer a restaurant next to the lobby with delicious food. Pool chairs are very comfortable.

I travel to Savannah frequently, and have stayed at a lot of hotels that have turned out to be tired, dirty, and a bit sketchy, even when they look nice on the internet. Glo, however, did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and professional. The property was very well maintained, and the parking lot was well-lit, and felt safe. I was always able to park in full view of the lobby, adding a level of safety. I never saw any people lurking around in the parking lot, which seems to be a frequent concern at other Savannah hotels. The hotel and its rooms were modern, clean, and well equipped. I used the business center in the lobby that offered computers and printers (with seemingly unlimited free printing), and I enjoyed the breakfast, which included eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt and cereal. My room (with 2 queen beds) was spacious and included all of the necessary features that make travel easy: lots of plugs for chargers, in-room safe, ironing board and iron, spacious refrigerator and microwave, clean fluffy towels and impeccable bed linens and pillows. No nasty bedspread -- just a top sheet that can be replaced with each occupant! I appreciated the wood floors, which gave the room a clean feel. The very large window was covered with the best black-out shade I have ever used. No icky curtains! I'm honestly very picky and once ran a hotel housekeeping crew, and I can verify that this room was spotless. Best of all, the hallways were quiet. I have found my new home-away-from-home!
