The most uncomfortable mattress I have ever tried to sleep on. Mold on the ceiling. An army of ants in the bathroom when my wife went in to take a shower. Place declined to refund our unused nights when we checked out early.

The stay in Chiang Dao Hut was great!! I liked the bubgalows and the nature around, very peaceful and beautiful. Good location to visit walking. Friendly staff.

Passed by and stopped the hut kitchen opposite the road for lunch as the place looked nice and clean. We found the food to be so really good value for money that we thought it was worth a review. Recommend thin thai noodles with soy sauce for 65 baht, a bargain! The chiang dai nest 2 restaurant has even better thai food, though more expensive

What is lacks in luxury, it makes up for it in charm. It’s a lovely place to stay, at the foot of mountain and at the doorstep of a national park. The staff are very kind and helpful, plus it’s affordable. The place to be, if perfection isn’t what you’re seeking for.

The setting is great, calm, wooded with lots of greenery. The supplements stop there. Deplorable welcome, we feel like we are disturbing. superior cottage I'm still looking for the superior one, very small room, no air conditioning, nothing to put your bag on, bed on a "platform". Tiny and old bathroom, tiny sink, nothing to put even the toothbrush Breakfast, never seen that, Thai soup or NOTHING, not a slice of sandwich bread, not a piece of fruit, nescafe or tea !
