Hotels Near Wat Huay Pla Kang: Goddess of Mercy Chiang Rai in Chiang Rai

I’d rather say it’s more of a piece of art than just a hotel. Great interior and exterior design. Professional staff. High cuisine. Amazing view and atmosphere overall. Good location, hotel neighbors with the Blue Temple which is a must too see. 5/5, i will recommend this hotel to every my friend who’s going to visit Chiang Rai.

Very basic hotel but for the price it's good value for short stays. Denied an early check in(1, 5 hours before check in time) and not friendly attitude from staff in reception. You get what you pay for.

Excellent location, quiet and yet a short walk from everything: bars, restaurants and massage shops surround the hotel and the night market, Saturday market, clock tower and bus station are all very near. The breakfast buffet was decent for a hotel in this price range. The hotel itself is like stepping back in time. It would have been very classy 35 years ago, but now the elegance has aged. The control panel next to the bed no longer turns on music and you have to work out what the other controls do. (e.g. the switch marked ”TV” operates the bedside light.) Rooms are large with a decent bathroom with a proper bath. I stayed there twice, in a Superior room (the lowest level) and then a Deluxe. While the Deluxe had a few tiny improvements in fittings, the main advantage was having a decent number of power points. The Superior had no spare power points whatsoever in the bedroom, just one in the bathroom. Fortunately, the maid was able to give me a power board. (She didn't know much English, so I showed her a picture of one on my phone and she raced off and got one.) Then I was able to plug in everything via the socket the TV uses. The pool is strange, cold and stark, surrounded by concrete walls and situated on the ground floor. It's not even obvious how to get to it! There's one entrance through the restaurant and another from the second floor down a big flight of stairs. The only real negative is the wifi. It's atrocious and extremely weird. I had multiple devices connect to the same access point, yet get directed by DHCP to different routers! My phone always connected to one that worked (slowly), but my other devices would mostly get connected to one that didn't do anything. Of course, the front desk staff had no clue what was going on. Broadband on your phone in Thailand is cheap (150 baht/month for AIS 4G) so it's not the big deal it once would have been.

Clean, spacious rooms, use air conditioning and water heaters from leading Japanese brands. Don't worry if you come to stay in the winter and need to use a water heater and the water is not warm enough to heat up. There is a dryer provided by the staff. Good service from the moment we parked the car. Come find a parking space. There is parking for the electric train, priced at over 600 baht, good value with breakfast included. The spaghetti is very delicious ^^ As for the picture in the room, it's on the cover. We didn't film it.

Hotel was clean, staff were professional and friendly. Location of hotel was walkable distance to everything we needed and wanted to explore. Nearby cat cafe, night bazaar and market, restaurants, massages and bus station. Forgot one of my items of clothing at the hotel and they were kind enough to mail it to my hotel in Bangkok for me to pick up. Quality service.

I recently stayed at your hotel and wanted to express my appreciation for the excellent experience. The check-in process was smooth, the room was comfortable and spotless, and the amenities were fantastic. Your staff's friendly and attentive service made my stay truly enjoyable. 　It is located on the north side of the old airport site, a little farther from the center of the city, but the price is reasonable, one of my regular lodgings, and I use it for long stays. There is a bathtub depending on the room category, but if you don't book early, you will be sold out. The pool is large and there are children and is popular in the local area. There are also some types of breakfast. 　

Very good. Located on the roadside, convenient to travel. If I have a chance, I will go back and stay here again. I like it very much.

Very nice and very clean hotels, friendly and friendly staff (they open the port, book Uber, call you in the room to wake up when they know you have a trip). Great for gluten-free, I am cheliaca and have made me chicken, vegetables and potatoes for lunch and breakfast with honey, as well as juices, fruit, yoghurt etc If you find yourself in Chang Rai very recommended!

Picked this hotel because it was near the White Temple. The outlook of the hotel is old. But the rooms looks like it has been renovated not too long ago. The beds were fantastically soft and I had the best sleep over the two nights. Only shortfall was I book for the 2 bedroom suites. The layout is a bit off as u have to access one of the room before getting to the living room.
