We had the most wonderful stay at this resort. We walked with the elephants, made medicine for the elephants, and also took the spice spoons cooking class. The rooms, while small, are extremely comfortable. My boys, who are 19, 18 and 14, absolutely loved the resort pool and the buffet options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also ordered off the menu and at the bar on several occasions. Everything was excellent. We stayed at several beautiful properties during our two weeks in Thailand, but I think this was probably everyone’s favorite. It was very comfortable and we all felt extremely welcome. Excellent job.

First, the hotel, the view, the staff and everything about this place is as good as it gets. However, I want to write todays review on the cooking class called Spice Spoons. The head Chef of our program was PJ and he was absolutely fantastic. You start with a tour of the local market which is something we have not experienced before. Then, we came back to the hotel and had about an hour or so to relax as the tour started at 7am. Then we met PJ in the private kitchen and cooked our own meals. He cooks each dish first as we watch and he explains what everything is and what he is doing and then we replicate it and cook ourselves at our own stations. Then we sit at a beautiful table and eat our dishes. PJ was wonderful. He was funny, had all the answers from the questions the group had, was extremely knowledgeable and was an absolute joy to be with. I highly recommend this and definitely request PJ.

We enjoyed 3 nights at this beautiful resort. Three exceptional factors made this the highlight of our Thailand trip. The staff at this resort are exceptional. The elephant experiences are wonderful and life affirming. This is worth every penny. The location at the very conjoining of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos is fascinating. A superb time.

Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp and Resort is world-class. This was truly one of the most enjoyable experiences we have ever enjoyed. The interactions with the elephants is unforgettable. Bike-riding through the countryside, and the three-country excursion were both amazing. The spa offerings were out of this world. Some resorts can have less-than-perfect food offerings when they're "all-inclusive." Not Anantara. The restaurants were incredible. The people working at this resort were among the best we've ever dealt with. They couldn't have done more to make our visit the best it could be. We can't recommend this place highly enough. It is definitely the "Experience of a Lifetime!"

Fantastic experience. We were not sure to select Anantara after reading some of the reviews about the place not being in tip top condition. You can rest assured, the hotel is a really 5 star and in tip top condition. If you are considering going to the Golden triangle, you definitely should go! All the way up north meters away from the Myanmar and the Laos border, you can see all three countries from your room! Fantastic service and atmosphere throughout the hotel. We were there in February of 2025 and event though the hotel was quite full it never felt like it. The food was amazing and please try the fine dining restaurant if you are foodies! The hotel is located with an elephant sanctuary inside the hotel grounds and the elephants are everywhere! We had close encounters with them many times a day and the “walking with giants” Experience was amazing- once in a life time! The hotel is located just next to the Four Seasons and have same owner. We love FS but with price vs quality: choose Anantara! The Spa is also of top quality and you have a totally new refurbished gym with new Technogym equipment and a my Thai boxing rink and a tennis court! A lot of activities for an experienced based vacation: Cycling, a new sky bike, motorcycle trip, trekking - many options. You will never regret a stay here!
