I took my child to sit for a sat test. I didn’t expect that in such a beautiful Bitan scenic spot, you can see the beautiful scenery from the window. The room is large and comfortable. The breakfast at the hotel is also very delicious. The gentle singing of the singer added a charming atmosphere to Bitan’s night. The next day the child went to the mountain to take the exam smoothly. The hotel helped to approve the car in advance. It was a great trip. I hope to have a chance to come with my daughter. BbookoftensaiThe room was great. Clean and huge! The location is so convenient, it's along the main street so our taxi could drop off and pick us up from in front of the hotel. The bus stop is also less than 1min walk away. Family mart is right around the corner and the entrance to Jiufen Old street less than 5mins away. Overall it's one of the best stay. There is no stairs in the accomodation but on Trip.com they already stated what is the floor number. I book the 4 people family room and was on the 2nd floor (just 1 flight of stairs up- bottom floor is considered 1st floor)

GGuest UserBefore searching for nine on the Internet to stay at the hotel, I felt that Jinman Hall was quite attractive to me. Although the price was indeed high, it felt quite worth it after I checked in! We stayed in a deluxe family room with mountain view on the day. The interior furnishings are completely in line with the display on the website. There will be no actual discrepancies with the photos. The quality of the bathroom and other spare parts is very good. It is not the kind that is more common in ordinary hotels or homestays. The environment is very quiet. Walking around can also enjoy a good view, the reception staff is very kind, breakfast is very special nine palace dishes, there are simple toast, really different from the buffet bar of the general hotel, if you want to have a different accommodation experience, Jinman Club is definitely a homestay choice that can be considered!

Staff were super nice and easy going offering hints and tips for enjoying our stay. We stayed for one night in a lovely room with breakfast included. The room was clean and stylishly modern with a clean bathroom which I really liked. They give you slippers to use for inside so you don’t track dirt in and that really makes it feel all the cleaner. The location is great right atop the mountain looking down on the famous lanterns which light the steps aside the mountain. My package included a nice casual breakfast.
Tip for anyone staying just one night, pack light as you probably need to bring your belongings up the mountain steps when you come with the bus and once again when you go to catch the bus out.
We took the 965 bus from beimen bus station to joiufen police station bus stop which was only a couple hours with great views of mountain villages en-route

PPBBA cute and nice bed-and-breakfast with multiple locations located in Jiufen. It is HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you CONTACT the HOTEL BEFORE ARRIVAL as the bed-and-breakfast has multiple locations and it’s hard to find them without proper direction. The streets of this town are very windy as it’s on a mountain so it’s even hard for taxi drivers to find hotel locations.
After I contacted the hotel, they were able to pick me up from a random spot that I got lost and direct me to my room. The room was very nice, very big, clean and located very close to the old street about a five minute walk up some stairs and also very close to family mart and 7-Eleven for all your needs.
Only thing is I would like if the hotel could provide more towels, hand towels, face towels would be nice. They only provided two full body towels, but other than that great place highly recommended because of its convenience in the area and the friendliness of their staff who also spoke English. 😊 they also provided a nice breakfast that was delivered to your room whenever you wanted in the morning.
They are also super great at providing a map of the town and giving you all the tips for your stay and telling you where to eat and the hours of these places.

AAnonymous UserThe view was good and clean and so good except for the top of the mountain. There was a fatal downside. It rained that day, and the heavy cotton quilt and yo were wet with humidity.
In the quilt in yo. The cold humidity came up and down and I couldn't sleep for one degree. The body was humid and heavy.
ㅠㅠ. Ohhh... Finally came down from bed and covered my jacket on the tatami floor and slept sideways, and eventually I got cold and I couldn't digest my schedule afterwards. I came back to Taipei and went back to Korea.
It was so unfortunate that the facilities and facilities were not in the style of Japanese ryokan.

GGuest UserHard to find : we found the hotel after a few time. The location on Google Maps and Apple Plan were not exactly the same + the place don’t look exactly the same as on internet.
Service : we received a call bc the householder was having some personal issues (alright, that’s life). But we called the number, and it was difficult to reach someone + someone were in the hostel but no answer until the same person decided to scream something we didn’t understood.
Cleaning : it was clean ! But a smell of humidity.
Amenities : we were very happy, necessary things were available. BUT sleepers are not personal (maybe used by all the customers even if maybe cleaned), the breakfast is not homemade, it’s delivered (and it’s actually good !).
We enjoyed the place, even if it’s pretty far by foot, and difficult because of the several stairs. Jiufen is actually on a mountain, but it can be difficult for people with disabilities.
We were very happy, even we arrived pretty late, and the famous Old Street was closed when we finished to settle.

CCeeLo10This boutique runs in Japanese style - the magazines in the common area is Japanese, the rules (no using phone after 9pm in the room, changing to slippers in sleeping area), the public bath…etc.
overall good value for money although I didn’t realise from the hotel description that there’s no private bathroom.
The room’s wall doesn’t go all the way up the ceiling so you can hear the outside (and vice versa) very clearly and you can’t talk on the phone with privacy).
The free breakfast is a surprise as the food is pretty good (last photo).
