Hotels in Brisbane Airport, Clayfield

Having a 7am International Flight out of Brisbane I decided a night near the airport was a better option than a very early departure from the Gold Coast. The Airport International Hotel is standard motel style with clean functional rooms. Room includes tea and coffee making facilities, plates, cutlery and even wine glasses On the adjacent corner is a convenience/servo and 500metres further along a Dan Murphys. On my way to Dan's I noticed an Italian restaurant, and up a side street, a Japanese restaurant, a Burger/Pizza/Kebab place and a couple of other Restaurant/Bars. MOST IMPORTANT to note, if you are a light sleeper make sure to ask for a room on the other side of the motel from Kingsford Smith drive, the road noise is horrendous!! It is only 10 minutes drive to the airport ( slightly further to the Domestic Terminal ) and if I have a future early departure flight I will stay at the Airport International again.

Located fairly close to the domestic terminal and very convenient for international travelers arriving into Brisbane staying overnight and catching a domestic flight next day. Since domestic terminal is joined to the airport walkway, all basic services or facilities such as dinner place and convenience store are accessible within walking distance. If you have enough time you can also catch train from domestic terminal and visit City. Overall very nice clean place.

The staff at reception is super friendly. Room facilities are in good condition, it's easy to see they are well taken care of. The only thing I am not so satisfied with is we found some moth flies in the bathroom. Did not use the swimming pool so can not leave an opinion. All in all, It's worth the price!

It is a bit inconveniently located far from the city center and there’s no real restaurants or shops around. When I first checked in to the original room it smelled very bad and I started getting a headache. They said it’s the smell from the new carpet and they might have used glue or something. I was happy with my new room but it had another issue that I keep hearing banning noise day and night. I inquired about this to multiple workers but the only I thing I heard was they have no idea where the noise was coming from. The service was ok generally but one of the housekeepers kept coughing and made me really uncomfortable to get my room cleaned. Also, usually other hotels give one hour complimentary late check out but only this hotel didn’t allow any late check out. One good thing about this hotel was that they had really big smart tv and I could watch Netflix and YouTube. Overall, my experience at this hotel wasn’t too great and I wouldn’t really recommend this hotel unless you have a car and not too sensitive to noises.

A nice place to stay. A good large open room. Beds are comfortable. Unit is self contained with Microwave, Toaster, Jug, Crockery and Cutlery. Unit was clean and you could open windows for fresh air and a glass door leading to a patio which was a bonus.Ryan in Reception was very friendly helpful and eager to help with anything. There is a carpark at the back of the Motel and it is close to the RBH hospital. In the morning we had these beautiful parrots 🦜 coming to say hello sitting on our patio.

Our sleepover stay was a very pleasant experience from the time we checked in until we checked out. The service was very helpful and thorough and our apartment was more than we hoped for. It was a hot day and the staff were very thoughtful to put the air-conditioning on before we arrived. As we had just travelled for 30 hrs the room was on the quiet side and very comfortable so we really appreciated this gesture. There are many cafes and restaurants in walking distance, also an IGA for any groceries needs as the apartment has a full kitchen and appliances. We will definitely stay there again when visiting and hopefully make more use of the enormous rooftop BBQ and entertainment area. With Gratitude 🙏

This was great for an overnight stay close to the airport. It doesn't look like much from the outside however the room was excellent. Usually when you book online you don't always get what you hope for. This room was terrific. I especially liked how quiet it was and how comfortable the bed was. There is not much near by for food and the restaurant was open for breakfast. Airport shuttle was not available when I was there however taxi and uber are cheap as it is close to the airport. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I would book again.

The motel was easy to navigate to for us country bumpkins who don’t drive in the city we could walk to the Westfield shopping centre rooms clean and tidy we had 16 and it was at the back so not much road noise for being on a busy road. Aldi next door was a great convenience

We stayed at the Pullman when we arrived and stayed at the Novotel when departing the next day . Overall the Novotel is very clean near to the DFO (direct factory shopping ),which is great and 24 hours supermarket within walking distance is a great plus for travelers with children. The last minute diapers, snacks that you need for your children when you arrive late and the kitchen is closed. The only downside is that they don't have someone to bring up luggage professionally, which Pullman does, we are three people with lots of luggage and it's quite heavy to manage on our own. Novotel pool is at the rooftop, it's not really child friendly because of his layout compared to Pullman. Otherwise the Novotel is a great stay for a few days.

Excellent value for money. No big issues. Aircon worked great 👍 Woolworths is only 10-15 minutes walk away. Good mobile reception. Didn't test TV. Highly recommended. We stayed in 3 bed unit. Biggest annoyance is the bedside power cannot be accessed so the the bedside table is stuck the wall, so I had to use an extension cord to charge phone from table. Other annoying issues but I didn't mind: No bowls provided, so we ate out of cups (then bought disposable bowls from Woolworths), the shower floor is tilted so water pools a little in the corner but easy to push water down the drain with feet, no shower accessories like shampoo but expected for budget motel. Wifi worked mostly but some websites not working so I had to use VPN. Still highly recommended, just bring a extension cable, shower accessories and bowls 😎👍
