We booked to stay at the hotel as part of our long drive from Calais to the south of France. Just wanted somewhere to stay and set off early in the morning ( €69 for a Friday night) but were pleasantly surprised. As they were not busy we were offered a choice of rooms and bath or shower . Secure parking in the basement was €9.90 which we were glad of as had a car full of stuff . Really friendly welcome at reception and very helpful. The room was pleasant, masses of hot water, basic tea and coffee facilities, comfy bed, free wifi, everything we needed for a quick stay. Much better than another more expensive chain that we stayed in further north on the previous night.

The reception team is fab, gave excellent parking instructions. On arrival, check-in was quick, with a very friendly feel. The hotel is new and modern, and situated right in the centre, walking distance to everything. Our room was clean, modern, and up to a typical Mecure standard. I say this, as our next stop was at a Mecure in Tours, was very disappointing.

I do not know of a better hotel to stay at when I am abroad. The kindness of the staff, and the cleanliness of the rooms makes this hotel my number one place to stay, when I am in France. I also appreciate the help I receive when I need assistance to find information about an event in town. This makes my trip so much more interesting. The breakfasts are superb, and they cater to all your needs, This hotel is like my home, away from home. I cannot wait to get back. This hotel treats you like your are part of their family. Outstanding in every way.

The location of the hotel is very good, but at the first floor (the side that gives the red lights ) you might need to change the windows to stop hearing the vehicles that stop and start again mainly at 7 a.m. The rooms are clean but the shower had black traces at the level of the joints. Fortunately, the staff is very pleasant there is always one person to answer you ...the small salon is very nice and the restaurant bar and a real more ...The receptionists are laughing and answer your questions gently, The hotel is very friendly and it asks you if you're going to stay a good time.

Stayed here twice on the way to Spain and the way back. Hotel was fantastic and staff were amazingly helpful. The hotel was very clean, rooms were modern and the gardens/ pool area were very good. Our daughter loved playing with all the outside games. Whilst we did not eat in the restaurant the food looked good. Our only criticism was at the night the bar service was extremely slow, however, staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel as a stop off point on the way to and from Spain, they also have three free basic (presume 7kw) electric charge points for cars and a load of Tesla chargers.

The hotel is very good and very comfortable. In addition to the very smile and sympathetic staff, this hotel is especially well located: at the exit of the motorway (but no noise at all) and near a full of varied restaurants (there is for all tastes!) and even next to a LIDL. The room for 5 was very well-planned and was very clean.

The hotel offers a very comfortable room and a very comfortable room. - spacious bathroom with bathroom. Points - : - the cost of breakfast is quite high (€12) compared to what is offered. But for a free buffet service it is unfortunately in the current costs. - the cost of parking is also high if you don't have not the chance to find a place on long-term parking ...

This hotel has Secure parking with a locked electrical gate. Perfect for those travelling with a full car, bike rack & roof box. A great stop off on our way to Spain. Very dog friendly hotel with gardens, The hotel was clean. ideal for a stop off point on a long journey. Short taxi ride into the local town for fabulous French food - a must see!

Lluxtraveller88Good location, only 5 minutes walk to the cathedral square. Staff very friendly. Parking on site for a fee but if you have a large car be aware that the access is tight. Clean and comfortable room. We understand each room is different and ours had the sink and shower in the room rather than in a separate bathroom. Breakfast (extra cost) was buffet style but with a good selection and definitely worth it.

We had a great stay in this independent, fun, and slightly quirky (in a good way) hotel. The 3 staff members we interacted with were terrific and friendly, and we liked our room. The rooms are not large, which was fine with us as we were not staying a long time, but if you want a large room, you probably should book the largest they have. The room & bathroom were very clean and the bed comfy. If we come back through Clermont-Ferrand, we'll definitely stay here again! (And, breakfast was really good too...)

The location (just across from the station) is why we chose the hotel - (1) we arrived by train from Paris (2) next morning, we were able to take the train to Aulnat airport to pickup our car rental from Hertz. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms seemed unusually small (have stayed in many ibis styles properties elsewhere), but beds were comfortable and it was very quiet. Note to guests and hotel staff : there is a train (TER) running between Clermont Ferrand station and Vertaizon, which stops at Aulnat airport and makes for a quick (7 mins) and cost effective (1.5E ticket) airport transfer, which we did eventually take. The frequency is somewhat limited though, so if you can work with that timetable, its a better idea than expensive airport taxis. Just thought I should clarify this, as there seemed to be some confusion over this possibility.

On way there no problems, polite, helpful staff. NOT the case on way back Friday 26/8. Rude unhelpful staff, who wanted to charge one of us for drink, but with no price list. When asked apparently the price list is private and no receipt could be provided! Screams out that someone on the make. Also staff entered one of the rooms while we loading cars and hadn’t even checked out which is totally unacceptable. So unfortunately you missed out on 14 breakfast on Saturday 27/8 as we all went elsewhere. I know this is a budget hotel but don’t expect to be shouted at when we are paying customers. Would like to speak to someone about having some money refunded and some of your staff need to be trained in customer services and also conveniently don’t understand English which is not what is advertised! Very bad experience and definitely not happy.

GGuest UserFollowing a mechanical break and an immobilization of our vehicle from Spain, I contact the hotel to cancel my room. After giving my name and booking number, I explain to the recipient that I am aware of the very short time of this cancellation (24h before), that I had paid in advance and that I wanted only a document attesting my cancellation for I'm surprisingly surprised to tell her that I've booked directly on Kyriad's website. She answers that I must do this cancellation on their website by clicking on a tab dedicated to this purpose and that I will get this attestation. So I'm going to Kyriad's site, don't find this tab and remind her to signal him. It is then that this lady persisting in her misinformation, inflicts me on: ”Sir, you don't listen to me !!!” and ”This is the last time I explain it to you !!!”. I ask her to speak to me otherwise and to speak to a hotel manager, seeing that it was impossible to move forward with her, she waits me and then tells me that her manager cannot take me on the phone and that it is necessary send him a email ??? I'm locking up and looking on the web, I find a n' phone from Kyriad's platform to cancel my reservation, on which I was explained that a reservation could not be cancelled via their website and that his colleague vehemently “I was not trained. I received a email confirming my cancellation and for the little story, invoking breakfasts that will never have been consumed! I will never be back to a Kyriad hotel and I'll also ask me about the truth of the dithyrambic opinions on this hotel with such a reception and such deafy of its direction.
