Second time at this hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. We did not use the AI more than for a couple of lunches. Ok and felt fresh. Nice salads and vegetables. Beds were comfortable and I am really picky. Close to restaurants and just a short walk to the beach.

What a fabulous,friendly,well run hotel. Great value for money in an interesting resort area.Been to a few RUI hotels now and this is the all round best so far.Will definitely return and bring our extended family with us !!

On arrival our first room we were allocated smelt of smoke so we rang reception, they were so helpful and within 5 minutes we were moved. Literally with no problem whatsoever. Great service from the team. Fantastic location, even though the beach is within walking distance the shuttle bus to the beach is very useful, especially coming back. The staff are fantastic, so friendly our cleaner was brilliant (room 216). Kristina in the restaurant always greeted us with a warm welcome and a smile. All the pool bar staff were great, shout out to Saul who had to put up with us late at night. Also many thanks to Daniel and the rest of the team. The pool area could do with some music during the day. The entertainment team were brillian their shows were really good. The neon and white parties are definitely worth a visit. Overall Fantastic experience and will be back in May 2027.

This was our second visit to Riu Papayas and once again it was brilliant. The staff are so friendly, helpful and give 100% to make your stay the best. The hotel is very very clean and the Asian restaurant was superb. The only downside to this is that the Playa De Ingles area has deteriorated and just doesnt feel safe at night, but that is nothing to do with the hotel which was fantastic

To be honest I only have two gripes that aren't even gripes, just something I'd have liked. I'd have liked more banded spirits and better gym equipment as its very sparse and no free weights. Other than that I have absolutely zero complaints. Our welcome was very warm and inviting. The rooms are very good, spacious and above all, absolutely spotless. If you are planning on going here I would recommend you ask for a high floor. The food, staff, service and entertainment were all very, very good and if you get bored there is plenty to do within walking distance. Towels are also provided for sun loungers and a courtesy room is available if you have a later pick up/flight time. Any issues you have can also be raised on the RIU app. We used it to order extra pillows and book dinner at the on site Chinese and Spanish restaurants. I would definitely go back.

Stuart & I have returned to Papayas at least 9 times. I am quite sure the children's Riu Land used to be done at 5pm? Besides the children I am sure many adults enjoy this too. I think having it at 8pm is far too late when many young children are ready for bed, hence not many taking part whilst we were there. I love this hotel, and nothing else to disagree with. We did a lot of research before choosing this hotel, since hubby is coeliac. Breakfast cooked to order, GF bread, cakes and biscuits on request. Can order GF chips pasta , would even make sauces if required. someone would walk around the buffet highlighting what can/can't be eaten. They soon got used to us asking what's GF. So much so that one meal time hubby picked something in error. Staff quickly took it off him. Not glutened once.. I didn't have any issues with the variety or warmth of the food Now to the rest of the hotel.Our room was big , lovely spacious bathroom, cleaned daily. Pool area is spotless and beds are plentiful. Yes some people get up early to put out towels, but you can easily get a bed in the middle of the afternoon.The staff at the pool bar are incredible and work incredibly hard. Even in an evening when it was packed, rarely had to queue more than a few minutes. What sets this hotel apart was the incredible staff. Miguel ( restaurant, there are others but can't recall the names) the staff at the bar, who soon recognised we wanted gluten free beer on our frequent visits. as far as the building work goes next door , it is quieter than the music at the pool. We met some wonderful people of all nationalities. Would we go again? Yes
