A good hotel in Congjiang. The hotel lobby staff gave breakfast coupons to the children. The service was warm and thoughtful. The breakfast was also very good. I loved the rice noodles the most. Ms. Cai at the hotel front desk is warm and polite, friendly, and willing to provide all assistance. She is a super good employee. The room is clean and well-lit. The design is a bit old-fashioned. The shower room does not have a waterproof door, so it is easy to get the floor wet. Overall, I am very satisfied.

DDDY945Just four words, Yunhuan Secret Realm. The service guy is very enthusiastic and replies on WeChat in a timely manner. He will pick you up at the shuttle bus station and wait for you to walk along the path to the homestay next to the terraced fields. I love it so much. It is a paradise on earth. The mountains, terraced fields, and sea of clouds are right in front of you. You can only experience it by driving over mountains and ridges.
Watching the clouds rise in the early morning, staying in the homestay is very enjoyable, and the beauty of nature is unobstructed.
The dishes made by the chef are delicious, all of which are local ingredients and are particularly fragrant. Some people say that the breakfast is not rich enough, but I think it is already very good. The rice noodles with local yellow beef or pork cubes are delicious, and the freshly ground coffee is also very delicious. After all, this is in the mountains, and transportation is very inconvenient.
After breakfast, I went to catch rice field fish. In the afternoon, I took a battery car to visit the nearby Dong village. I like the countryside and the original ecological experience.
It’s a pity that I can’t post the time-lapse photography of the sea of clouds, which is very beautiful.

HHeidi SunAs soon as I arrived in Congjiang County, I always wanted to stay here to experience the local customs and cultural characteristics. However, for the sake of convenience, I stayed one night in the county first. The next day I took a taxi to Basha to watch the show. After it was over, I went to the village and went straight to this B&B. I didn’t actually book a room that day. I said hello at the door and asked if I could come in and have a look. The boss was very enthusiastic. He greeted us, made us tea, kept chatting, and decided to stay here that day, because we were free to do whatever we wanted during the entire trip. We didn't have to go to any scenic spots, and we could go wherever we wanted to go that day. But we got along very well with the boss, and even stayed there for three days. The boss took us around for a walk and it was a lot of fun. You really have to believe in fate. That night, by chance, two travelers came over who had not booked a room before. So we hit it off and the next day we went with the boss to visit three or four villages, and finally stayed at Jiabang Rice Terraces. One night. This is a meaningful and interesting trip, not a tourist. Emphasize that the boss has a particularly interesting soul, interesting, humorous, and artistic. I used to think that traveling meant traveling to more places. This trip made me think that the meaning of traveling actually lies in the scenery, interesting people and their stories you meet along the way. The scenery of the B&B is very beautiful. After going around the mountain for eighteen bends, we finally arrived. It was night when we arrived and we were unfamiliar with the place, so we were very nervous.
We were the only family staying there that day, and I guess most of the business was taken away by the homestays at the entrance of Jiabang Terraces.
The room we booked did not include breakfast. We arrived after 9pm and there was no dinner, so we had to try our luck at the shop next door. Fortunately, the kind lady boss shared food with us.
The facilities in the house are relatively simple. There is no toilet, but there is a squatting toilet in the shower area. Basic toiletries and slippers are provided. The bed is relatively hard and has an electric blanket. The nights at the end of March are still very cold.
In the morning, you will be woken up by the crowing of chickens outside the house, and experience the rural life. I discussed with the boss lady in the morning and got a bowl of noodles. The fried egg was especially delicious!
We started visiting the terraced fields in the morning. After going up the stairs opposite the hotel and turning right, there was an observation deck. We could visit several major terraced fields along the way, which was very convenient.

The place is big and parking is very convenient. The rooms are independent in each building, and you can see the scenery of the valley from the balcony. The room is very spacious and very clean. The bed is very special. It is made directly from large tree trunks. This is the first time I have seen this kind of bed. The boss said that the bed frame is made of century-old trees. It feels good and safe to sleep at night. In the evening, you can use mountain spring water to make a firewood-fired Yao bath to soak your feet. After driving for a day, you will feel very relaxed after soaking. The boss lives on the mountainside opposite. If you have any questions, send us a WeChat message and he will come over immediately to help. The decoration style of their lobby is very retro, and there are many books. GGuest UserThe B&B is really at the highest point of the scenic area, which is perfect for our needs of having fewer people. The scenic area shuttle bus stopped running, but we put down our luggage and walked downhill all the way to the No. 3 viewing platform, and then returned. When we went back, the landlady's native chicken was already cooked, and the fried vegetables were also very tasty. Since we are here, we should make the best of it. As long as we are not working, we are happy anywhere. When we open the window, we are in nature, which is very healing. The landlady is a very straightforward person, with quick hands and feet, clean bedding, and the rain is very strong, so we don't have any bad feelings.

SScarletTheWandererThis is an incredible spot to stay! We were amazed by the location and the staff at this gorgeous hotel nestled in the hills. The rooms were incredible, clean and spacious. Our cabin overlooked the valley and felt like we were just inside a forest. The bathrooms as beautiful with a huge bathtub and wonderful string shower. The food here is incredible and fresh and the dining room overlooks a lovely valley that is perfect to watch the sun go down. It’s very close to all the walking trails and there are very few tourists here even in the height of the season. It’s a hidden gem!
Would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a great experience! The staff went over and above to make our stay incredible. Will visit again!

There are terraces below and to the right of the inn, which are very spectacular. The boss and his family are very welcoming. The room is clean and hygienic. The wooden house has a faint pine scent, which is very comfortable. The dishes cooked by the boss are delicious, the charges are reasonable, the personality is high, and people are thrifty. The inn has vegetables, melons and rice grown with mountain spring water. My picky eater can eat two bowls of rice in one meal. On the return trip, we bought dozens of kilograms of rice to take back to Guangdong to eat. All in all, the trip to Jiabang Rice Terraces was perfect. I would recommend it to friends for food and accommodation.
Note: The local chili peppers are spicy and delicious. Friends who don’t like spicy food or eat a little spicy food must make it clear in advance. If you don’t pay attention to it, you will eat more bowls of rice😀😀😀
