"Given that this hotel is situated in a complete rural area they offer a really high standard. The room is very clean, spacious and comes with phenomenal view over the village and ricefields. You got aircon, bathroom with wet-dry area separation and hit water. There is even a heating blanket provided for cold nights. The hotel is within walking distance to viewing platforms and provides a rooftop terrace for watching sunset and sunrise over the ricefields. I had a great stay!"

"The hotel has just opened, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The rooms are fully automated, and you can see the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening – absolutely stunning! The room rate is reasonable, and breakfast is included. The local rice noodles for breakfast are incredibly delicious. There's also a convenient dining area on the first floor of the hotel in the evening. Their sweet rice wine, rice paddy fish, and fragrant pork are all particularly delicious and local specialties, especially their sour soup fish. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay; the owners were very welcoming, and I'll definitely come back next time."

The price is moderate. The location of the homestay is located at the sixth stop of the Jiabang Terrace Scenic Area, which is convenient for arranging tours."

GGuest UserA guesthouse with stunning scenery, newly renovated, and very close to Viewpoint 2, offering views of the terraced fields at Viewpoints 1 and 2. It's very quiet, filled with birdsong and cicada chirps, and you can even watch the sunrise! I stayed two nights, one rainy and one sunny, seeing different aspects of Jiabang. The shuttle bus is conveniently located right outside the guesthouse. The owner and staff were very nice! You can order à la carte food, and the stir-fried dishes are delicious. You can basically stay in the guesthouse all day without leaving, very convenient and a great experience! The cleanliness was good, and disposable bathtub liners were provided, which the kids enjoyed.

GGuest UserBefore the trip, I hurriedly booked the homestay: the service lever (the butler brother picks up and drop off at the scenic ferry station). Because of the 0 distance from the terraces, it is not very friendly to people who are uncomfortable with their knees and have difficulties climbing. The room is spacious, bright and clean. Breakfast Jiugongge, there is an appetite. Looking out of the room is a beautiful terrace.

Eecho2158Our stay began with a slight hiccup regarding the room type, but the owner, a pleasant young man, sincerely resolved it. Among accommodations in Jiabang, this guesthouse stands out for its pleasant environment. It's clean, and the rooms are spacious. For Jiache Village, the facilities are quite decent, and the location is excellent, conveniently situated on the road to Observation Deck #6.
However, there were a few downsides. First, for guests staying multiple nights, daily room cleaning and replenishment of disposable toiletries are not standard. We noticed our room hadn't been serviced on the afternoon of our second day and had to request items from the owner. Second, our room was unfortunately situated directly above the kitchen's exhaust vent. During meal preparation, cooking fumes would waft into the room, making it impossible to open the windows. It was quite frustrating to keep them closed in such a fresh-air environment. Third, being a mountainous region, there's quite a bit of wildlife, so guests should be cautious. On our last morning, venturing out early around 6 AM, we encountered a small snake—about finger-thick and 30-40cm long—crawling near the first-floor staircase. Thankfully, my husband, who was ahead, didn't step on it, and we quickly walked around. This was the fifth snake we'd seen in our two weeks in Guizhou, but the others were unfortunately roadkill; this one was alive. While I understand this might be common in mountainous regions, guesthouses should ideally have measures in place to handle such encounters to prevent alarming guests.
It's not easy for a young entrepreneur to run a guesthouse, and I hope its operations become more streamlined, eventually becoming a top accommodation choice for visitors. 🐵

Ssandy jinThe room was on the third floor with a beautiful view. Sitting by the window drinking tea was very pleasant. The guesthouse is right by the main road, very close to Viewpoint No. 1, just a 3-minute walk, which is very convenient. The only downside is that the stairs are too narrow, making going up and down a bit inconvenient. However, there's a terrace downstairs where you can sit and watch the clouds rise and see the sunrise in the morning. The cleanliness was acceptable, but the squat toilet wasn't quite what I was used to!

We stayed for three nights. On the last night, the hotel owner invited a large group of people to stay in the store, shouting loudly as soon as they arrived, and playing very, very high! Very noisy. I reacted with the staff and it still didn't work. It didn't stop until 10:30 in the evening. Very disrespectful to other tenants... Because it is a friend of the boss, the staff has no way.

GGuest UserThe boss family is particularly enthusiastic. The homestay is on the roadside. The sightseeing car goes directly to the door of the homestay. The boss’s house is about 100 meters away from the No. 1 observation deck. It is the largest observation deck in the terraces of the Jiabang. I am very happy to go to their homestay. Not only did I eat the rice flower fish that is famous for the terraces of the Jiabang, I also experienced it. Their own rice wine is so delicious 😋😋😋 I will go back again when the autumn harvest is over.

GGuest UserAlthough the room is small, it has complete facilities and plenty of hot water. The view from the window overlooks the entire village. It is recommended to check in early. We arrived at 10 pm and the whole village was dark. Compared with the commercialized Qianhu Miao Village, this village has an ancient style. The disadvantage is that the floor makes noise when walking. The price is right

The hardware supplies of the room were comparable to the quality of the star hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the price was very high. The location of the homestay is very close to the terraces of No. 6. It is very convenient to watch the sunrise on the 6th. The scenery is also beautiful. This time I was lucky to see the sunrise, a perfect journey. Not so good is the loud sound of the wooden stairs up and down.
