Having never stayed near a high-speed rail station before, I had a stereotype of accommodation near them being poor quality and expensive. However, Zhongtao Hotel completely shattered my preconceived notions. Not only is its location excellent, right near the station, but the hotel and rooms are spotlessly clean, the internet connection is strong, and there's plenty of hot water. Most importantly, the service is top-notch. The enthusiastic owner personally picked me up when I arrived at the station in the evening and left in the morning. I told him, ”This is the best hotel service I've ever stayed in.” And I mean it from the heart. If you're visiting Congjiang, especially if you're arriving at night or leaving from the high-speed rail station in the morning, remember this affordable hotel with excellent service. The room is clean and tidy, the environment is comfortable and beautiful, and the location is excellent. It is just behind the Congjiang High-speed Railway Station. You can get there immediately after getting off the train and turning a corner. The lighting of the buildings near the high-speed railway station at night is also very distinctive.

“I am disappointed with this stay. I booked two rooms for one night. We checked in close to midnight, and one of the rooms had a very strong cigarette smell. We were traveling with a sick child, and even after opening the window, the smell did not go away and it seriously affected our sleep. I called the front desk and asked for a room change, even willing to accept a smaller room, but was told there were no rooms available. Later I noticed that rooms still appeared to be available online, which was confusing. The bathroom shower ceiling was also damaged. The next morning, after I submitted feedback via the hotel’s QR code, the manager apologized in person and offered a small gift, which I appreciate. But I believe the more important thing is to provide a clean,smoke-free room when guests report a problem. Families with children, especially those sensitive to smoke, may want to double-check that a non-smoking room is assigned. 这次入住让我比较失望。我订了两个房间,只住一晚,接近凌晨才入住,其中一个房间烟味很重。我们同行还有一个生病的孩子,整个晚上烟味都没有散去,严重影响休息。我第一时间联系了前台,希望更换房间,哪怕小一点也行,但前台表示没有空房。后来发现网上仍显示有房,对此感到疑惑。另外,浴室淋浴区天花板还有破损。第二天我通过酒店投诉二维码反馈后,经理亲自来道歉并送了小礼物,我感谢他的态度,但我认为,更重要的是在问题出现时,及时为客人提供一个干净、无烟的房间。如果是带孩子入住,尤其对烟味敏感的家庭,建议提前确认是否安排无烟房。希望酒店能在这方面有所改进。

This guesthouse is located right at the entrance of Basha Miao Village Scenic Area, just steps from the morning welcome performance. Restaurants and breakfast shops are nearby, making it very convenient. The wooden houses have a distinctly local feel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and opening the window reveals lush green mountains—a truly breathtaking view. The owner is incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing thoughtful information about sightseeing routes. Staying here is a peaceful and tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle, allowing you to immerse yourself in the village's charm and making for a very pleasant stay.

In fact, the facilities and rooms here are very good. But the cleaning was not clean. The countertop was not cleaned. I wiped it all black with a wipe. We stayed for three nights. On the last night, the hotel owner invited a large group of people to stay in the store, shouting loudly as soon as they arrived, and playing very, very high! Very noisy. I reacted with the staff and it still didn't work. It didn't stop until 10:30 in the evening. Very disrespectful to other tenants... Because it is a friend of the boss, the staff has no way.

The room was on the third floor with a beautiful view. Sitting by the window drinking tea was very pleasant. The guesthouse is right by the main road, very close to Viewpoint No. 1, just a 3-minute walk, which is very convenient. The only downside is that the stairs are too narrow, making going up and down a bit inconvenient. However, there's a terrace downstairs where you can sit and watch the clouds rise and see the sunrise in the morning. The cleanliness was acceptable, but the squat toilet wasn't quite what I was used to!

Hygiene: This is my first experience in a hotel where I need to change into slippers when I enter. With children, the hygiene is very good. Facilities: Although it is not star-level standard, it is complete, including air conditioning and bathroom. The experience is not bad. Environment: I booked a king-size bed room with a view. Take a look at the pictures for yourself. Service: The sister who received us was very enthusiastic and helped us turn on the air conditioner early. Before leaving, she also helped us arrange the most cost-effective motorcycle🏍️

Cheap, clean and tidy, the proprietress is also very good, the scenery is good, mainly close to Dongzhai and high-speed rail, self-driving is preferred. Individuals are either able to play, it is also convenient, and finally, the overall experience of accommodation is very good.

Very nice stay for a quick 1 night stopover. The property is right by the train station, which is what I was looking for to be able to catch an early morning train. In terms of location it really depends what you are looking for, surely there's not much to do around and it felt like being in a very remote authentic village, so it's a nice experience but if you have a car it's definitely a plus. The owner doesn't speak English but he's been very nice and accommodating. The room is simple with squat toilet but it has everything and it's absolutely clean and comfortable.

Despite the bleak outlook my stay was not bad. It was OK. The hotel just felt tired and run down. The cleanliness wasn't bad, but not as good as it should be. The curtain and drapes were in an awful state, but the floor and bathroom was OK. The bathroom however was definitely not suitable for showering, and the fact that my window was out into the corridor, with no natural sources of light, where the lights turned on every 30 minutes and shone theoothe curtains made my sleep atrocious. They should either stop renting that room, or fix better curtains. Location is good and staff was very kind to give me my room before check-in hours.
