Cleanliness: excellent. All things are clean and dont smell at all The woods gave a very aromatic feeling and is very smoothing to sleep. Location: excellent. It is about 300m walk to No. 6 view point platform. Unfortunately I was unable to view sun rise throughout my stay due to the rain. Services : excellent. Thee boss was attentive and picked me up from the bus drop off point and carried my lugguge which as about 20kg all the way to the room. On departure day, he accompanied me to wait for the shuttle Bus before leaving. He also helped carry my luggage. Breakfast was good. I had different breakfast each day. The boss prepared the breakfast himself. A good cook. Amenities. Excellent. Very thing well prepared and rven water kettle is new. There were many eateries within walking distant. Nice food and the owners are all friendly. Will certainly come back again.

The B&B is in a fantastic location, with views of the rice terraces and sunrise from the room. Picture one was taken from the first-floor restaurant, enjoying the view while dining. Picture two was taken from the room itself, and the decor is so comfortable. It's right next to Rice Terrace No. 5 and very close to the cafe, making it feel like you're right next to the most beautiful rice terraces. For sunrise, it's just a ten-minute walk along the path outside the B&B to Observation Deck No. 6, which is incredibly convenient. The B&B owner and his family are very friendly and welcoming. The food is also delicious. We ate all three meals at the B&B, and they were all delicious. The fish and chicken were both fresh and delicious. I immediately recommended this to my friends after returning. I'll definitely go back to see the rice terraces year-round. I'll definitely stay here again.

The hotel has just opened, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The rooms are fully automated, and you can see the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening – absolutely stunning! The room rate is reasonable, and breakfast is included. The local rice noodles for breakfast are incredibly delicious. There's also a convenient dining area on the first floor of the hotel in the evening. Their sweet rice wine, rice paddy fish, and fragrant pork are all particularly delicious and local specialties, especially their sour soup fish. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay; the owners were very welcoming, and I'll definitely come back next time.

I took my parents to travel together, and I was very satisfied with blindly choosing this homestay. The boss was very hospitable, and when he arrived, he showed us a simple local performance (not specially performed for tourists) and prepared a sumptuous dinner. During the National Day, you don’t need to make an appointment for the Yao bath. At other times, you have to tell the boss in advance that the first time you try the Yao bath, you feel clean and comfortable. It washes away the tiredness of traveling the mountains and water a few days ago. It is highly recommended!

The hotel is truly wonderful. The design is so well done, especially the bedrooms. Breakfast was great. The new place they have with a restaurant is not as nice as the hotel, and for foreigners the team could improve the service a little bit since we couldn't have any lucky with the hiking trails and the daily tour included. However, they were really helpful for dinner and other stuff.

Let's talk about the location of the hotel first. It's right next to the No. 3 Observation Deck. You can overlook the No. 3 Observation Deck from the hotel. Let's talk about the scenery. It's worth coming here. The terraces are green in this season. It just rained when I went there. The air is very fresh. The terraces and trees have just been bathed. They are very green. Let's talk about the hotel environment and facilities. There are many local specialties on the menu of the restaurant on the first floor, which can meet the needs of tasting local food. The boss, Sister Hu, said that the vegetables are all local and pure green, and they are delicious. The decoration of the hotel is very interesting, the layout is warm, and there are ornaments on the doors. It's not gorgeous or vulgar (it's also possible to see the beautiful scenery and feel good to see everything. Hehehe). The front desk and service staff: very friendly and considerate. The one who impressed me the most was Sister Hu. As a j person, I don't make plans and go wherever I go. I choose to come to Canada just to get extra pounds. I didn't think about where to go later. I talked to Sister Hu while eating. She helped me plan it and recommended me to go to Xiayao. The drive is just over 40 minutes. There is a Chinese wine on the tip of the tongue. It tastes very good. Thank you Sister Hu for the recommendation. By the way, let me say Jiapian, the scenery is beautiful and the facilities are very complete. It should be more beautiful in July and August when the terraces turn yellow. I look forward to coming again then 😁 I heard that the No. 3 platform is the sunrise viewing platform. The room was on the third floor with a beautiful view. Sitting by the window drinking tea was very pleasant. The guesthouse is right by the main road, very close to Viewpoint No. 1, just a 3-minute walk, which is very convenient. The only downside is that the stairs are too narrow, making going up and down a bit inconvenient. However, there's a terrace downstairs where you can sit and watch the clouds rise and see the sunrise in the morning. The cleanliness was acceptable, but the squat toilet wasn't quite what I was used to!

Transportation: Very convenient. The guesthouse is located at a higher point, near the sixth viewing platform of the terraced fields scenic area, easily accessible by sightseeing bus. As it's the final stop on the uphill route, you can directly catch the downhill shuttle bus, avoiding the situation where the bus is full at previous stops. Environment: The guesthouse is bright, spacious, clean, and hygienic. The owners are very attentive, even providing disposable towels and toilet seats in the rooms for guests with higher hygiene standards. Service: The owners are very welcoming. There's a dining area on the first floor. You can order some home-style dishes, all very delicious. The chicken used for the chicken soup is freshly killed, taking a little longer but resulting in exceptionally fresh flavor. You can leave your luggage at the guesthouse while sightseeing during the day, and if you get tired after walking to other viewing platforms, you can contact the owners to have your luggage brought back. Food: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available. The owners cook their own food, with simple home-style seasonings, and the spiciness can be adjusted. The main appeal is the freshness of the ingredients. The chicken soup is a must-order; the cabbage is incredibly flavorful. The stir-fried beef with celery is a generous portion that will fill you up, and the celery is even tastier than the beef. Breakfast includes rice noodles, corn, and sweet potatoes. The prices are reasonable and fair; they don't overcharge just because it's in a tourist area. Other: The owners are a warm and welcoming family. You can even watch the young owner pet his tabby cat – a truly pleasant experience.

Our stay began with a slight hiccup regarding the room type, but the owner, a pleasant young man, sincerely resolved it. Among accommodations in Jiabang, this guesthouse stands out for its pleasant environment. It's clean, and the rooms are spacious. For Jiache Village, the facilities are quite decent, and the location is excellent, conveniently situated on the road to Observation Deck #6. However, there were a few downsides. First, for guests staying multiple nights, daily room cleaning and replenishment of disposable toiletries are not standard. We noticed our room hadn't been serviced on the afternoon of our second day and had to request items from the owner. Second, our room was unfortunately situated directly above the kitchen's exhaust vent. During meal preparation, cooking fumes would waft into the room, making it impossible to open the windows. It was quite frustrating to keep them closed in such a fresh-air environment. Third, being a mountainous region, there's quite a bit of wildlife, so guests should be cautious. On our last morning, venturing out early around 6 AM, we encountered a small snake—about finger-thick and 30-40cm long—crawling near the first-floor staircase. Thankfully, my husband, who was ahead, didn't step on it, and we quickly walked around. This was the fifth snake we'd seen in our two weeks in Guizhou, but the others were unfortunately roadkill; this one was alive. While I understand this might be common in mountainous regions, guesthouses should ideally have measures in place to handle such encounters to prevent alarming guests. It's not easy for a young entrepreneur to run a guesthouse, and I hope its operations become more streamlined, eventually becoming a top accommodation choice for visitors. 🐵
