Staffs are friendly and helpful. Beakfast is good, food keeps at good temperature and speedy refill. The room is small for a family, it size is smaller than other Holiday Inn Express but very clean.
We arrived late, ~9pm and our sofa bed was not ready. The staff said our booking was for 2 adults only although we showed him our confirmed email from trip.com was 2A2C. He emphasised this was purely the issue of trip.com but he tried to sort it out for us. The housekeeping has gone home and left no spare bedsheet, pillow, quilt. Finally another man came and grabbed the things from another room or somewhere and prepared the sofabed for us. We appreciated his help.

Nice, clean hotel. No frills but very functional. No dining facilities apart from breakfast starting at 6.30. Opposite a Toby Carvery and a couple of decent pubs nearby.

I am not happy at all. It was a bad experience. My family was stranded because the hotel booking prices on Trip.com do not match their prices. So, my kids were tired, and there was no appropriate room for us. I am really disappointed and the hotel was very dirty too.

The price is absolutely cheap. You can drive half an hour to the park & ride in York Outlet to transfer to the bus into the city. The room is not small, very clean, free parking, there is a restaurant at the door, and the breakfast is the same as all holiday inns. There is no elevator, you need to carry your luggage upstairs
