"The price is absolutely cheap, you can drive to York Ole's park &ride for half an hour to transfer to the city bus. The room is not small, very clean, parking is free, there is a restaurant at the door, all holiday inn for breakfast are the same. There is no elevator, you need to carry your luggage upstairs."

"I was a little hesitant to book this hotel with it being on a service station- how wrong I was. Absolute gem of a place, hotel room was lovely, quiet and clean. Free parking and a 15 minute drive into Leeds. Next door in the service station there is Starbucks, Leon, pizza express, Nando’s, Greggs, M&S etc. will definitely stay again."

"Room a little tired and in need of some paint and a new carpet!
Mattress not very comfortable and cobwebs on light fittings!
Bathroom OK other than wood toilet seat chipped and ceiling above shower mouldy!
Didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on food."

"Nice enough hotel but with some reservations, the main entrance had work going on and was closed.the signage for the alternative entrance was poor and so difficult to get into the hotel. Once in side (I entered through the health club) there wasn’t ant directions to the reception. Once checked in, the room was decent if a bit of a trek to get to. Upon checking out, again the sign for the barrier code wasn’t easy to spot. I’m sure once all the alterations are complete the hotel will be back to the usual standards found at the average Holiday Inn."

"We stayed 2 nights in the hotel and found the room to be really comfortable, the staff really friendly and helpful, and the food was really excellent. We didn't use the spa facilities as always arrived too late but the pool looked really inviting. Location was also good as just a few minutes off the M1. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this hotel."

"Not one of the better Premier Inns I’ve stayed at. Getting very dated and in need a a complete refurb. Situated a bit in the middle of nowhere, neither close to Leeds city centre nor the M1 and A1 . A comfortable and clean room but the choice a places to eat was limited to just the chain restaurant opposite. I booked at a very good price so can’t really complain as such. The usual rates are considerably higher and so not worthwhile"
