"The window installation had some flaws, allowing outside air to seep into the room. After I reported it to the front desk, a staff member quickly and effectively used a towel to seal it off. Their problem-solving skills were excellent. However, the elevator is ancient, incredibly slow, and has been continuously malfunctioning for a long time. It's a real hassle for both delivery drivers and guests, especially if you're on a high floor – that's a true tragedy."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The highlight was definitely the room with the huge balcony area and an outdoor bathtub — a rare luxury in the middle of Chongqing. If you’re booking, I’d recommend choosing rooms with odd numbers, as those face the Jialing River and offer the best views.
The room isn’t fully soundproof, but the noise level was manageable even though a few nightclubs sit about 200–300 metres away. For light sleepers, the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs.
One thing we loved was the convenience of contacting the front desk via WeChat. Any request or question was handled quickly without needing to call or go downstairs — super convenient.
Breakfast was simple but decent. A special mention goes to the helpful **** gentleman who manages the breakfast area — extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m., and since we had early full-day tours before that time, the hotel prepared “brownie bags” (to-go breakfast bags) for us with bread, yoghurt, and fruit. A nice gesture even though the selection is basic.
The dining hall itself is small, and if you’re staying on the 14th floor, you’ll walk through it to reach your room, but it didn’t bother us.
Overall, a comfortable stay with great views, convenient communication, and genuinely warm service. We’d happily stay here again — just stick to the rooms with balcony and river views."

"If you’re looking for a place that’s right in the heart of the action, this spot couldn’t be more perfect — it’s literally in the middle of Chunxi Road, one of the most vibrant areas in Chengdu. The location is super strategic, making it easy to explore the city or pop out for shopping and food anytime you like.
The suite itself feels surprisingly spacious for the price, with a cozy little living room and a separate bedroom — perfect for relaxing after a day out.
A special shoutout to Siao Yue at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Her friendliness really made a difference!
And for those late-night cravings, there’s a Lawson convenience store just 10 meters away — ideal for grabbing snacks or drinks whenever you need."

"First, the hotel signage name hasn't changed. Tell the taxi driver ”XIPU- HIDDEN CULTURE HOTEL” and you'll be confused. The original name was ”JIANGUO HIDDEN HOTEL /”. Second, you have to take the elevator to the 2nd floor, walk to the restaurant, and then take the elevator again to your room... I met an old Chinese man who blocked my way to my room... The advantage is that it's not far from the IFS building."

"Before I picked this hotel, I read a review that said you won’t want to leave this place, and that’s exactly what happened. I truly recommend this hotel. It’s worth every penny.
- The location is great, with the subway station right nearby
- Food options all around and easy delivery available
- The host is amazing, very kind, and always ready to help
- The room has a big bathtub and beautiful lighting that creates a cozy, romantic atmosphere
- Free laundry service and overall perfect service and attitude
- Rooms are arranged vertically, so you might need to carry your luggage upstairs
- The room is well equipped: a mini fridge, hot water station, TV, towels, and slippers, etc.
Recommendation: Since the place has such a relaxing vibe, it would be amazing if the hotel also provided bathrobes.

"I came to Chengdu for a trip and looked at several hotels online before deciding to stay here. The room was pretty good and spacious. The staff provided excellent service, always willing to help. The Roselle tea was delicious, and the service was very attentive. They offer afternoon tea and late-night snacks. The location is superb, right in the city center, within the Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li commercial district. There are many great restaurants and attractions nearby. It's very close to People's Park, and being in the city center makes it convenient to go anywhere. You can reach Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street by simply crossing an overpass. I highly recommend staying here."

The location is very very comfortable for all main tourist destinations. Breakfast also was very good.

"Excellent location. Near Chunxi metro station. Near tai koo li. We stayed at 22th sty, nice view. Everything was well provided even though this is an apartment. Will recommended to stay here again if we come to chengdu. The only downside is the shower hot water becomes very less after shower half way and after 3 min, the shower water comes back again. This is the only negative review for this apartment."

There was luve music in the lobby in the afternoon, the breakfast was suprisingly affordable with so many good options, was also tried the Hanfu in the lobby. It's super close to Dui Park Station, Guankou Ancient City, Dujiangyan, and Bajiaomiao Station – all within a comfortable walking distance. Just a heads up, I didn't see an elevator, so I'd recommend packing light!

AAnonymous UserThe Hilton independent building has always been a favorite of mine, and this stay was no exception. I arrived early, and they were very accommodating, allowing me to check in ahead of time since a room was available. The front desk staff were all excellent, always smiling when I came and went, and even gave me two bottles of hot water when I left – very thoughtful! The room was very clean. This time I chose a 'cooling room', and it was nice and cool, which was perfect after walking around all day on vacation – I just wanted to turn on the AC when I got back. The bedding and bathroom were spotless and fresh, absolutely no issues, and I slept very comfortably. Plus, the location near Yushuang Road is great for getting to the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, Yulin Road, Chengdu Museum, and Chengdu East Railway Station – it’s a central spot. Taxis and the subway are very convenient, and you can easily find a lot of delicious snacks!

MM692340****The hotel's design is stylish, with a neo-Chinese garden feel. The front desk staff was incredibly efficient, with sweet smiles, and even thoughtfully escorted me to my room. I'd left a pack of cigarettes at the hotel, and they took good care of it, giving it to me right after check-in. The room was very cozy, with fresh welcome fruit and comfortable bedding. I always sleep soundly. The bathroom has separate wet and dry areas, and the toiletries are Marlin Dog, with a premium rum scent—very useful!
Breakfast wasn't crowded, and the menu was short but excellent, with Chinese-style freshly cooked noodles, a la carte dishes, and Western-style Eggs Benedict—all of which were of high quality. From the front desk to the restaurant to the room, every staff member was warm and welcoming. The housekeepers, likely locals, were very chill!
In short, the hotel's dedication to both the amenities and the service was evident, offering exceptional value for money.

The staff are all incredibly friendly and, impressively, they all speak English. Daily breakfast and coffee are included, and staying for two days was absolutely wonderful. I would genuinely stay here every day if I weren't so short on cash and out of loyalty points! 😭 The courtyard is incredibly comfortable for relaxing, and even a sudden evening rain made for a cozy atmosphere. Wenshu Monastery is also just a short walk away, which is super convenient!

GGuest UserThis is not a holiday inn/holiday inn express, (the chain) even though that’s the name. Other than that it’s a fine hotel. They offered free airport pickup service, and were very friendly in helping us.
The hotel is in a very remote location, 20 minutes away from the airport. It’s in a beautiful setting in the countryside, and we could hear birds and chickens outside the window. The lobby is a bit sp****, and the bathroom is small, but it worked for us after getting in late at night.
