GGazze AzriThe owner was genuinely kind and very helpful throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, they went out of their way to make things easy for us. They even helped us carry our luggage up and down, which meant a lot especially since we were travelling with kids and had quite a few bags.
What we appreciated most was how thoughtful they were in sharing local tips. They recommended several nice places to visit around Dujiangyan, including family-friendly spots, good food, and scenic areas that we probably wouldn’t have discovered on our own. Because of their suggestions, our trip became much more relaxed and enjoyable.
Their warm hospitality made us feel very welcome, almost like staying with family rather than at a hotel. We’re truly grateful for their kindness and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Dujiangyan.

MM236519****The room was spacious and bright, with complete and new facilities. The bathroom had strong water pressure and stable hot water. The screen mirroring and high-speed WiFi were super convenient. The soundproofing was excellent, and the environment was quiet and clean. The hotel's decor was cute, especially suitable for families with children. They called in advance to ask if we needed parking, and since we arrived late at night, they even gave us a free room upgrade.
The location was fantastic, very close to the Panda Base. It was convenient to walk or take a buggy, saving time in the morning. We were able to be among the first to see the pandas at 8 am!
As someone who pays attention to details, I was thrilled! The room amenities were complete, and the bedside charging ports were super convenient. Even the hidden corners were clean, and the service was gentle and appropriate. My stay was incredibly satisfying, and I genuinely recommend it to everyone!

GGuest UserFive-star review! I’m truly impressed with my stay at Xishu Hotel. From the moment I checked in, the front desk staff were warm, attentive, and efficient. Their professionalism made the whole process smooth and pleasant. The room was spotless, well-designed, and comfortably arranged. All the facilities were modern and well maintained, and the attention to detail was excellent. The bed was especially comfortable, and I slept very well.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing, and the public areas are kept in great condition as well. Whether it’s cleanliness, service, location, or overall convenience, everything exceeded my expectations. I genuinely couldn’t find any flaws during my stay. I will definitely choose Xishu Hotel again next time I’m in the area and will gladly recommend it to friends!

The price of cocktails is a bit expensive. It is about the same as the pricing level in Shanghai. The hotel corridor looks very ordinary. The room is generally very good and clean. The location of Huapaifang is very convenient. Wenjiaxiang and other places nearby can feel the atmosphere of the old community in Chengdu. It is very relaxing and comfortable. I like it very much. I spent a wonderful May Day holiday!

AAnonymous UserThe location isn't too far or too close to the Chunxi Road area. When I booked, I chose the family room for its large bed, but I didn't expect the window to be tiny. The room's dark color scheme made it dim and depressing; it felt like staying in a dungeon. The bathroom outlet was also intermittently without power, and breakfast was very mediocre. I had originally booked for three nights, but I moved to another hotel on the third night (I was too tired from sightseeing the first two days, otherwise I would have left sooner). I strongly suggest the owner change the lighting; with an already dark color palette, the dim lighting is just unbearable. If you stay here, I'd recommend booking a different room with a larger window. I noticed other rooms had big windows with lush trees outside, which looked much better.

GGuest UserWe stayed at Qixi Guest House in Dayi, Sichuan with our two kids and chose the River View Loft Room — and it was such a lovely experience.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved it because they had their own space in the loft area. There were plush toys and books prepared for them, which made it even more special. The loft area also had a warmer, so it stayed cozy and comfortable.
The owner is very kind, and the place is managed by two elderly ladies who are incredibly sweet — they reminded us of our own grandmothers. They were so warm, caring, and genuinely helpful. They even helped us book taxis because it can be quite difficult to get a Didi in this area.
There are no halal restaurants nearby, so it’s best to bring ready-to-eat food from home. However, they knew we are Muslim and thoughtfully prepared halal-friendly breakfast for us — noodles, fried eggs, vegetables, buns, candy, nuts, and boxed milk. We truly appreciated their effort.
Downstairs, there is a shared kitchen area that guests can use. It’s well-equipped with utensils, a microwave, hot water dispenser (similar to Coway), and basic kitchen facilities — very convenient for families.
The only downside is that there is no lift. The building has three levels. We stayed on Level 2 (just one flight of stairs up from the ground floor), so it was manageable, but carrying heavy luggage could be challenging.
When we checked out, the owner even gave us a small gift bag with a keychain and fridge magnet — such a sweet gesture.
From the guesthouse, it takes only about 20 minutes by Didi to reach Xiling Snow Mountain. Just make sure to book your ride 20–30 minutes earlier because it can be hard to get a car in this area.
There are small shops nearby if you need drinks or basic items, but by around 9:40 pm, most places close and the area becomes very quiet.
The river view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The guesthouse is located at the foothill area with charming ancient China village vibes — peaceful and scenic. The hospitality was truly heartfelt. We also noticed many Malay guests have stayed here before, so they are familiar with preparing Muslim-friendly meals.
Overall, we had a very warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended for families visiting Xiling Snow Mountain.

MM253152****The hygiene was good! The bedding was comfortable, and the pillows weren't too high, very soft! The service attitude was also good. The breakfast was quite simple, with buns, eggs, soy milk, and coffee. For this price, the surrounding area is quite noisy, and the sound insulation isn't great. The only downside is that there were so many mosquitoes... I got bitten by mosquitoes in the middle of the night, and it happened in both rooms, even my child was bitten. There was nothing we could do. We had planned to stay a few more days. I hope the owner will provide mosquito repellents in every room and do a better job with pest control in the future.

Ddominicttxthe room was really nice and beautiful, true to pictures. the service staff were extremely helpful and friendly. they were very responsive whenever we messaged them for help and proactive in asking what time we wanted our rooms to be cleaned everyday. the only downside is that there are only 2 lifts servicing 47 floors, which can make the wait time to get up and down the lift quite long. other than that, the location is great and it was an extremely pleasant stay. oh and they also have a really cute cat at the lobby :)
