3-Star Hotels in Chengdu

What a wonderful place! Tucked away in the back makes it quiet and serene, while still being at the center of the traditional Wenshu Monastary area. Perfect for all sorts of travelers, i was a solo female and stayed in the dorms with other friendly guests. Lovely inner courtyard with a cafe for relaxing and drinking tea. The staff are all so friendly and ready to give you all the tips on what to do in Chengdu. They speak perfect English as well! There are a lot of regular visitors, since people keep wanting to come back. The rooms are cleaned everyday and beds are made, with fresh towels provided. Everyday felt like I had just checked in, brand new. Breakfast has a range of western (toast, eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal) or chinese (rice, wontons, fried pancakes..) and fresh fruit that changes from day to day. All ranges of coffee and tea as well. It filled me up well to start my day walking around the city! Definitely recommend to anyone, and I will be staying here next time I visit! Thank you :)

I finally found a wonderful place to stay in the city center! My entire stay was incredibly comfortable and smooth, and every aspect exceeded my expectations. I genuinely recommend it to anyone planning a trip ✨ The hotel is located in the absolute heart of the city, offering an unparalleled prime location right in the central business district. It's surrounded by large shopping malls and trendy pedestrian streets. Stepping out, you can immediately dive into shopping, with a full range of fashionable brands, cultural and creative shops, and leisure establishments. This makes both relaxation and shopping incredibly convenient. Whether it's a short getaway or a business stay, your travel routes will be exceptionally smooth, and you won't have to worry about commuting hassles at all. My high-floor room was a delightful surprise. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered an expansive, boundless view, bringing the entire city landscape right into my sight. During the day, I could look down upon the sprawling buildings and intricate street networks, taking in the vibrant pulse of the city. As night fell, countless lights twinkled on, and the shimmering flow of lights unfolded before my eyes, allowing me to solely enjoy the romantic nightscape of the city. Just standing by the window dissolved all travel fatigue; the view and ambiance were absolutely top-notch. The in-room amenities were incredibly comprehensive. All the equipment was brand new and fully stocked, including smart home features, branded bathroom fixtures, high-quality bedding, and comfortable soft furnishings. The space was elegantly arranged and organized, with a thoughtful and practical wet/dry separation design in the bathroom. Everything was impeccably clean, and the hardware functioned flawlessly. It was quiet and peaceful during rest, striking a perfect balance between quality and practicality, so even a long stay wouldn't feel cramped. Downstairs and in the surrounding area, there's a rich and diverse food scene. Local specialties, exquisite Chinese cuisine, creative light meals, and unique snacks are all scattered around. The variety of cuisines is incredibly wide, with a rich, inviting aroma of local life lingering in the air. Finding meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was abundant, and I could savor diverse flavors without traveling far. Food lovers will definitely find it hard not to adore this place. What impressed me most was the exclusive butler service; their sense of discretion was just right. From check-in and luggage assistance to travel route inquiries and responding to daily needs, the entire process was meticulous and thoughtful. Their responses were prompt and gentle, proactively caring without being intrusive, fully balancing guests' privacy with an excellent service experience. The location, views, facilities, food, and service were all top-tier, offering both convenience and a high-end living experience. The next time I visit this city, I will definitely choose this place again. I sincerely recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable travel experience!

First off, I have to say I chose this hotel because of its cute name. I don't have a strong preference for brand-name hotels; I've always felt that many independent hotels are often just as good, if not better, than chain hotels, and they often have the owner's unique touch. However, this hotel stay was genuinely hard to call satisfactory, mainly due to hygiene issues. Upon checking in, the bed runner on the bed was really dirty. While this item is meant to be stepped on with shoes, it's not something you use much, and seeing it directly placed on the bed without being cleaned was quite off-putting at first glance. Then, there were remnants of other guests' hair on some areas of the desk that hadn't been properly cleaned. I'd also suggest a thorough cleaning of the showerhead. Secondly, there are a few minor facility issues that could be improved. The 'whole-house smart system' should really include individual switches for some lights. As it stands, it only offers a few preset functions and you can't control individual lights. Also, I didn't see any disposable toothbrushes or toothpaste provided. Everything else was okay; I'd give it a 60 out of 100 overall. And the panda babies are still very cute! 😘

## Facilities: 1. **Outdated and Poorly Designed**: The facilities are quite old, and the design is impractical. For example, the shower and toilet are in the same area within the bathroom, with no separation. This means if someone is using the toilet, no one can shower, and vice-versa. 2. **Misleading Advertising**: Figures 1 and 2 in the hotel's promotional images, which are crucial for customers before booking, are completely different from what you see upon entering the room (as shown in the last three pictures). I'd like to ask the hotel management: where is the bathtub from your promotional photos? It's turned into a concrete basin, and it's incredibly dirty inside. There was no prior notification upon check-in – it's a complete mismatch from what was advertised. 3. **Hazardous Staircase**: The stairs in the room are extremely steep. You have to be very careful going up, and when going down, you *must* descend backward as per the hotel's instructions, because it's impossible to go down facing forward without falling. 4. **No Internal Elevator**: The hotel doesn't have its own internal elevator, and the staircases within the hotel are also very steep, making it genuinely difficult to carry luggage upstairs. ## Hygiene: The overall hygiene in the room is acceptable. The wooden floor on the second level is clean, but that dirty carpet really shouldn't be there. ## Environment: The hotel has been converted from a two-story commercial building. It's not noisy at night and is conveniently located within walking distance of the ancient city's snack street, Nanqiao Bridge, and the subway station. ## Service: Service is just okay. After checking in, they provide some guide articles about nearby attractions and restaurants, but that's about it.

The coziest of hotels located very well within Chengdu. We had the pleasure of receiving the most wonderful service, as well as tips and recommendations from Arnold and the rest of the lovely staff at Grey Parrot. Without all of this, our trip to Chengdu would not have been nearly as nice. Thank you so much!🤠 The café/bar adjacent to the hotel serves great coffee, drinks and cake! And we also got the loveliest little farewell gifts. If you are ever in Chengdu, you should really consider staying at Grey Parrot.🐼

The family room is super spacious and comfortable. The toilet and shower are separate, which is very convenient. The soundproofing is also excellent; I couldn't hear any noise from other rooms. Plus, it's only one stop away from Chunxi Road, and there are plenty of food options just across the street. There's also a supermarket and pharmacy on the corner, which is really great. The station is only a 2-minute walk away. They also include breakfast and afternoon tea with 'Bingfen' (ice jelly), and there's even a robot delivery service for meals. The service is also excellent; I'd like to give a shout-out to Xiao Jing at the front desk, who was very polite and enthusiastic. It's a really worthwhile place to stay.

Stayed at Bliss Qintai ******* Boutique Hotel and it was a unique and memorable stay in Chengdu. The design of the hotel really stands out, with Tibetan-inspired interiors that give it a very distinct character compared to standard hotels. It feels warm, artistic, and different in a good way. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with enough space to relax after a long day of exploring. The overall atmosphere of the property is calm and cozy. Location-wise, it’s convenient for getting around the city, with easy access to nearby attractions and local areas. The staff were polite and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. If you want a stay that feels a bit more special and culturally inspired rather than just functional, this is a great option. Room is pretty small with no window is not recommended because the period I visited cannot turn on the air conditioner so it’s very uncomfortable. If possible I suggest to request for the corner room so it is a little bigger. But the location is superb, very closed to IFS, easy to reach by foot and there is very convenient to call the didi in front of the hotel.

This hotel is easy to find, and its location is very convenient for dining, shopping, and getting around by taxi. The lobby is bright, and the staff are very helpful. The room was clean and tidy, and it even had a washing machine and a refrigerator. Overall, I'm satisfied and would recommend it. It would be even better if the bathroom had a door. It's not too far from attractions like Wenshu Monastery and Du Fu Thatched Cottage. However, the hotel is quite a distance from the nearest subway station.

The transportation here is super convenient! Wherever you want to go, you can get a taxi in seconds. If you don't want to take a taxi, there are many subway lines nearby, so you never have to worry about not being able to explore Chengdu without a car. We've already stayed for three days in a row, and if my vacation wasn't over, I'd definitely stay a few more days.
