"Please excuse the messy room; after a five-day stay, it hadn't been cleaned. (It was my own laziness in not requesting cleaning, not the hotel's fault.)
Pros: It's a 6-minute walk to Chunxi Road subway station, and across the overpass is the bustling outer edge of the Chunxi Road commercial area, offering plenty of shopping. Right downstairs is a local Hongqi chain convenience store, making shopping convenient and prices normal. Across from the hotel, there's a popular hotpot restaurant, a traditional breakfast shop, and a fruit stand—very convenient.
Cons: The room was dim; the shower didn't work well, and the shower space was cramped. The cleanliness was just average, especially during the last two days when I woke up with itchy skin, and I'm not sure why.
Overall: Very good value for money, and the front desk was responsive. I would recommend staying here. My suggestion is for them to be a bit more thorough with the cleaning."

They offer 24-hour butler service and all the amenities are well-equipped. Coffee was even delivered to our door in the morning, which was a very thoughtful touch. Overall, we were quite satisfied with our stay."

"We enjoyed the spacious apartment that's centrally located and accessible to everything. We booked the 2 story suite and found the unit clean and comfortable. There were TVs in every room and we watched several world cup games. The staff was always available to answer questions and provide help and solutions when needed. The entrance is located in the back and it's above a famous hot pot restaurant as mentioned in other reviews but the quality-price ratio was quite favorable compared to other options in the area. We wish the kitchen door was unlocked so we could use the fridge and microwave."

GGuest UserWe had a fantastic stay at Elaine’s Service Apartment during our family trip to Chengdu. The first thing that stood out was the exceptional cleanliness of the apartment. Everything was spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully maintained, making us feel comfortable and at home from the moment we arrived. The apartment is also incredibly spacious, with plenty of room for the whole family to relax. The generous living space, comfortable furnishings, and homely atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring Chengdu and the surrounding areas.
A special mention goes to the cutest “hotel manager,” Jiaozi the cat! Jiaozi added so much charm to our stay and quickly became a favorite member of the household. Seeing this adorable furry manager around always brought a smile to our faces and made the apartment feel even more welcoming.
In fact, after returning from our trip to Jiuzhaigou, my mom kept saying she wanted to come back and stay at the apartment again because she loved it so much. That’s probably the highest compliment a place can receive!
Thank you to the wonderful hosts and, of course, Manager Jiaozi for making our stay so memorable. We highly recommend Elaine’s Service Apartment to anyone looking for a clean, spacious, comfortable, and heartwarming place to stay in Chengdu.

AAnonymous UserThe room is cozy! Toilet is clean and the shower pressure is strong. They provide alcohol wipe, ear plugs and even ensure that the room is sanitised (there’s a card beside the bed). You can still hear some noise from the corridor but the earplugs help. The hairdryer is from laifen. Location wise it’s just a short walk from exit F (stairs only at this exit though) of Chengdu Second People's Hospital Metro Station (line 4 & 3. It’s an interchange station so you get more options for your train travel which is a big plus). Walkable distance to chunxi road and there’s even 2 small supermarkets just 1-2 mins walk opposite the hotel. The washing machine and dryer works well and there’s laundry detergent provided too

AAnonymous UserPeaceful serene setting in the idyllic mountainside. Warm service from the staff. Generally what would be expected from Six Senses.
A few shortcomings:
1. The butler recommended that we make reservations for dinner either at the Chinese or Thai restaurant. We told him we will book the Chinese restaurant and try the Thai the next day. We were however not informed that the Thai restaurant was closed for business the next day.
2. My wife and I got itchy sandflies bites after our stay over there. Probably inevitable in the nature setting, but travellers who are sensitive to bites, do take precautions.
3. The photography session at the hotel is a miss if you have young kids. We had a good experience with previously at a Hangzhou hotel, and the photographer took many candid shots of our young kids playing around. The six senses photographer was very rigid and wanted our young kids to stay still for his shots. The end product turned out to be somewhat staid and didn't feel it was the result of a professional shoot.

GGuest UserOur stay in Chengdu was incredibly comfortable. The Xinliang Hotel's location is excellent; Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li, People's Park, and Tianfu Square are all within walking distance. Public transport, including buses and the subway, is very convenient. As for food, you're spoiled for choice right downstairs. A special thanks to the concierge who promptly brought us a drying rack, which was a huge help with our laundry. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Chengdu.

The bathroom was odor-free and well-equipped. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation nearby, and easy access to dining and shopping. The front desk service was warm and attentive, answering all our questions. Overall, it's great value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town, highly recommend!

GGuest UserThis hotel is directly opposite the Anren Ancient Town Bell Tower, making its location excellent. It's easy to walk to the Mansion Old Street, and the 'ding-ding' tram from the town square goes directly to Liu's Manor, so getting around is very convenient. The hotel's garden is lovely and well-maintained, featuring a 'naughty fort' (indoor play area), outdoor facilities, a swimming pool, and a small farm where you can feed sheep and rabbits. Kids absolutely love it. The rooms are spacious, though some of the facilities are a bit dated. The staff are all very friendly, providing attentive and warm service. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. This hotel is highly recommended for families traveling with children and seniors.

GGuest UserThe location on Wangping Street is super convenient! There are many cafes and bars along the river, and you can walk to IFS and Taikoo Li, but I opted for a Didi instead. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with a 24-hour laundry room and gym. They offer unlimited free boiled water, and there's even a robot for room service. Inside the room, there's a Xiao Du smart assistant, a smart bed (with adjustable height and massage modes), and a smart toilet. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly – I give 100 points to the ladies at counter #1 and #5 for their excellent service! I'll definitely be back here on my next trip to Chengdu. The only minor drawback might be that the bathroom and toilet are a bit small and lack hooks, which was a bit inconvenient 🥹

～～lianrongbao～This hotel is super convenient, right next to Exit C of Tonghuimen Station on Metro Line 2. It's just a 10-minute walk to Kuanzhai Alley, 15 minutes to People's Park, and 20 minutes to Tianfu Square. To get to Wuhou Shrine, you can take Line 2, transfer to Line 5 for four stops to Gaoshengqiao Station, and then it's a 10-minute walk from Exit J.
The room size is decent, and the decor has a light luxury feel. I really appreciate that the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. There's a vanity right by the entrance. The bedding is a bit soft, so I had to stack two pillows to sleep comfortably.
I stayed here for four days and three nights during my trip to Chengdu. The housekeeping staff replenished towels and mineral water daily, and the room was kept very clean. The front desk attendant was kind enough to upgrade my room and breakfast, and even gave me a small souvenir when I left. I'll definitely choose the Mercure Kuanzhai Alley Hotel again on my next visit to Chengdu.

AAD3KI had earlier booked another hotel but as I decided to join a trip to Jiuzhaigou by speed train, I had to change hotels and chose to stay at Rayfont Hotel. Rayfont Hotel is very near the Chengdu East Railway Station. Take the exit to East Square and when you exit the station, look up and you can see The Longemont Chengdu. Rayfont Hotel is just behind it. There is also an underground passage from The Longemont to the Railway Station (opens from 06:00 to midnight) which makes it convenient for travellers staying at either hotel. Luggage storage is at The Longemont. I was allowed an early check-in (before 08:00!) and my room was upgraded without additional cost. Even though I could see the railway tracks and trains, my room was quiet and the neighbouring rooms were quiet too. I enjoyed staying at Rayfont Hotel.
