The room is very modern, with a Chinese garden style, and the sunset on the beach is beautiful. I originally booked the Suger Beach Hotel a month in advance, but when I arrived at the hotel, I was told that there were no rooms. I was speechless. Then I was arranged to stay in a dirty, messy and small thatched cottage. Finally, I contacted Ctrip to help me change to Sofitel. I have to say that Ctrip's after-sales service is still good, but the Suger Hotel is really speechless. I will not go there next time 🙃

The hotel has its own beach and boathouse. Kayaks and paddle boards are my favorites. It's a pity that I don't have time to use the windsurfing board. Chasing dolphins🐬 can be booked at the hotel, and you can get on the boat directly on the beach, which is very convenient.

What a beautiful property on an astounding private beach. 2 pools - one generic, another one an adult only - complete with a swim up bar. Ample dens to lie around them and on the beach. You dont have to scarmble to get those at 6 am. in the morning !! The reception staff - Ishvari and the other ladies there made the check-in procedure like a breeze . We had arrived by an early arriving flight from London but all care was taken till we got our rooms later on. The breakfast staff gave meticulous attention to the detail and ensured an excellent, well proprtioned breakfast spread that one expects in a peremier accor facility. Rekha made some amazing pakoras for us. Pravin ensured that the coffee and the teas were all ready for us before we arrived. Dinner was a very elaborate , well planned event with an excellent spread again. Raj Dhillon at the helm of the dinner planning was just amazing lad - the Indian cuisine ..vegetarian options was to die for ..unbeatable - dal tarla, daal makahni , huge paneer varieties , biryani, Nan fresh out of clay oven , basmati rice , kheers ..you name it..it is there - so if you are a Indian and have a deshi palate- dont think twice - just book it here. There was Indian night complete with Gulaab Jaamun, motochoor laddus, Jalebi, rasmalai ..kaaju katli rolls. Sepearte paani poori stall. How spoilt we felt !! Thank you, Raj and everyone at Sofitel Flic n Flac who made a memorable stay.
