Everything in the rooms seems pretty aged. Shower drain didn’t work so I had to change room. The air ventilation is rather poor and the mildew smell from the bathroom is very strong. Most bothersome issue for me is that I can smell cigarette smoke every night, for hours. It just comes right into my room. The hotel hosts many bus tour groups so lots of people go in and out…. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I booked a hotel in Moon Island specifically for the Qingming Festival. It's understandable that there were no rooms when I arrived at almost 2 o'clock, but I could also wait for the room to be cleaned. I can still distinguish between the boundary river and the river view, but they assigned me a room on the lower floor where I couldn't see any water at all. I asked for a room change and they said I could wait for cleaning but they didn't tell me how long to wait. They said that I couldn't see the river when I booked it. I booked this hotel because of the Jianguo brand. It's an old hotel. The check-in, check-out and room staff are very warm and considerate. The room is very spacious, and the window can directly see the neighboring country on the other side. The scenery is great! The overall hygiene is very good. The only drawback is that there are some obvious blood stains on the bath towels, and there are some stains on the sheets, but it can be seen that they have been washed. If these details can be avoided, this hotel is perfect!
