First of all, the location is about 500 meters from the entrance of the scenic area. The room has a mountain view and is surrounded by green trees. There is an elevator that goes straight to the floor, which is rare in rural B&Bs. The main feeling is that they are warm and thoughtful, responsive, not afraid of trouble, and as kind as family, from the manager to the waitress. The price of a three-star room and five-star service is not expensive. Special thanks to the beautiful hotel manager who drove us to the tourist service center ten miles away early in the morning to catch the bus.

GGuest UserThe 270-degree view room I stayed in on the first day, whether it is the size of the room or the level of hygiene or the degree of view and dinner, the family is quite satisfied. If it is the feeling of this night, I will give five points of praise. Because I was very satisfied, the family asked to renew the reservation for another night. Since this room has been booked, I chose another room type twin room. The environment should be said to be still very good, but because of the huge sound from the next door, my mother did not rest for one night. We thought it was the sound of the air conditioner host. The boss said that it was the sound of the refrigerator. No matter what the sound was, he didn't sleep well all night. In addition, there were obvious spider webs above the room lights, and the boss also cleaned them in time. Overall it is good, but I still hope that the owner of the hotel can improve the service and find the problem before the guests solve the problem.

A few words about the hotel's surroundings and cycling.
Dining: Mingshi doesn't have any particularly special restaurants, and it's still under development. There are farmhouses on either side of the hotel. The one on the right is more intimate, but the food is excellent. The one on the left can sometimes be overwhelmed by orders, so be sure to ask if you need to wait.
Cycling: Electric and electric bicycles are available for rent. Tandem bikes are right outside the hotel, which is very convenient and negotiable. Looking at the cycling map might not be clear at first, but the middle circle is the best for photos. Definitely go to that community area, which has newly developed straw huts, boats, and a river. The price is 28 yuan per person, including a drink. Sunset photos at Happiness Bridge are possible. The scenery in the larger circles is similar and perfect for a ride.
A few hotel details: the bath towels are thick, the refrigerator is stocked with drinks, the bedside radio is for contacting the front desk, and the hotel also provides festive gifts and food for small holidays. If I had to offer a suggestion: The washing machine in the bathroom isn't very well utilized. Most elderly people don't change clothes often, and even if young people bring enough, they won't use it. The fact that the washing machine raises the sink and requires a foot pedal is even more inconvenient. Furthermore, the hotel's soundproofing is poor, so the noise from the washing machine would definitely disrupt your rest.
This is a very good B&B, much more cost-effective than the nearby Changliu Mountain Villa.

The hotel is situated in the gorgeous Mingshi village and our stay at Mingshi Yaju gave us complimentary access to the paid scenic area. The hotel is also conveniently 30 minutes from the main attraction - Detian Waterfall. Our stay included delicious breakfast, daily fruits and desserts, complimentary bamboo raft and cycling experience. They also have gym, pool and shuttle amenities. The staff there were extremely friendly and helpful! Sincerely want to thank Miss Zhou (周小姐）for making our stay so amazing.

LLiu_xiao_danOur first night in Guangxi, after driving all the way from Shenzhen. We had booked the Panoramic Mountain View King Room at Daxin Hualu Hotel.
Overall, the amenities and design of the hotel were superior to the service provided. The guesthouse's design and the aesthetic of its mountain surroundings were impressive. Waking up and standing on the balcony, we enjoyed the view of endlessly rolling mountains and vast emerald green wheat fields.
However, the service staff were rather indifferent and unwelcoming. We didn't see any sign of a dedicated butler from check-in to check-out.
Our highly anticipated dinner turned out to be quite underwhelming. We had placed our dinner order in advance while en route:

For a rural area in Guangxi, this meal price is arguably on the higher side. The presentation of the dishes was acceptable, but the taste was rather bland and uninspired, as if prepared by a chef accustomed to cooking for a 5-star hotel buffet. Perhaps it's tailored for seniors and children.
The location is convenient for exploring Mingshi Idyllic Scenery. If the weather is clear, cycling through the fields is an option; on a rainy day, a boat ride among the mountains is recommended. Each offers a unique experience.

MMaomaozhuA family of three and four children booked two rooms at Zhenshan and stayed there for two nights. They arrived in the afternoon of the first day, had some noodles and then checked in at Yulingba and Xingfu Bridge. They arrived at Detian on the second day, came back to rest, and left the hotel on the third day and headed to the next stop.
Zhenshan is in a very good location, close to the Xingfu Bridge in Yulingba and a little far from the Xingfu Community, but you can get there by renting an electric scooter (the price is negotiable). It is also a 40-minute drive from Detian by car.
The breakfast at Zhenshan is rich and well-supplied. One bowl of noodles is enough for a big or small snack for us. The Shiwei restaurant opposite to the restaurant is pretty good, and the hand-made yellow-skinned lemon dish next to it is delicious. If you have high demands for food and can afford the prices, you can go to the Chinese restaurants there. (The last few pictures are from there)

The terrace downstairs is also very comfortable, equipped with a rocking horse and swings. Breakfast is generous, and you can enjoy it right in front of the mountain view. EEatPrayTravelLocation of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area.

GGuest UserThe room was fantastic! Upon arrival, we called and the staff promptly came to pick us up from the entrance. They were incredibly warm and even escorted us all the way to our room door! The room also features a small private courtyard, which was very convenient for drying clothes.
Breakfast starts at 7 AM and is quite substantial, making it perfect for guests eager to get an early start on their sightseeing.
Tricycles are available for rent right at the entrance. Being located in the heart of Mingshi Countryside means dining and other amenities are incredibly convenient. Highly recommended!
