We booked this hotel specifically for Detian Waterfall and were very satisfied! Impeccable!
It is very close to the scenic spot, only a five-minute walk away, so there is no need to take a sightseeing bus for ten kilometers.
There are also charging stations for parking, which is very convenient.
Facilities: The accommodation is clean, new, smart and spacious
Environment: Very new and very good, very comfortable to live in
Service: The service is good, there is a free breakfast, which is very comfortable and tastes good
The boss also gave us some local snacks and Vietnamese coffee.
Special reminder, don't buy expensive local specialties in scenic spots. This homestay is cheap and of good quality.

Our stay exceeded our expectations! The service was warm and attentive, and they thoughtfully provided local snacks and even bought tickets for us (no sightseeing bus tickets required).
The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, which gave me a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom had a well-designed dry and wet area, and hot water was readily available. The B&B was well-equipped, including a self-service laundry room (even with a dryer).
The B&B had free parking and was very conveniently located, just a few minutes' walk from the scenic area entrance. It was very convenient to eat and then go back. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting!
As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I felt the warm and thoughtful service of the proprietress and the service staff. They prepared afternoon tea for us on the day of check-in, and the food in the hotel was particularly delicious. I didn't expect that the best meal I had out of the hotel was not in a restaurant, but here. You can tell by the way we finished every dish.
Very close to Detian by car
Several restaurants in town are good
On the day of check-in, the power supply bureau built the road, the boss was very careful to indicate where to park at the entrance.

Perfect
GGuest UserThe hotel is amazing, super clean and the scenery indescribable! The manager of the hotel is exceptional and made sure everything was arranged for us! We had a battler and 25/7 assistant through we chat. The breakfast amazing, tasty and different every day. The staff super kind and helpful. Every time we came back to our room our clothes and our room were tidied up. Dinner little bit pricey but tasty! We also had the boat tour and photoshooting partly on the boat and partly at the hotel! Amazing!!! Overall the best hotel we've been to and we compare it with miramonti hotel in dolomites and LA mamounia in morroco. Thank you for everything and we will defenately come back with our kids!! Great place for kids as well.
GGuest UserThe room was fantastic, clearly one of the hotel's best room types. It featured large, panoramic windows on two walls, offering direct views of the mountains and rice fields. The amenities were new and spotless, and the lighting was bright and pleasant. Breakfast was a bit basic, and I didn't find many substantial options among the main courses. I'd suggest they offer dishes like fried rice and noodle soup to enhance the breakfast selection.
EE. Ch.Amazing stay at Yunlu. Amazing service from the wonderful staff. Extremely quiet location. Beautiful scenery around. Great breakfast (no buffet). Large rooms with great views. Even a small pool (more for children).
I cannot say enough good things about the amazing service that the staff provided. Joyous staff. Good feelings. Not much English spoken (well basically none as is usual in China based on my experience) but with the help of the various apps and a positive attitude this is practically not a real issue. It can even be fun. Anyway they fulfilled all my requests and more than that (incl. for the breakfast as I suffer from diabetes) and always made sure I was happy and enjoying my stay.
The rooms I had (2 stays) were very large. The air conditioning was very efficient and silent. The views were so enjoyable (yes out there in Mingshi there are better views of course but still). The large bed was very comfortable. Big sofa, tables, chairs ... and a lot of space. Nice bathroom with good shower. A fridge was available and included some ”free” drinks.
I found the location perfect as it is not in the village itself but on the other side of the little river. So it is very quiet. A very short drive to the village and even walking requires no more than 30 minutes.
Restaurants are only available in the village and bike rentals are way cheaper in the village too. I would certainly not recommend the local shop close to the hotel for rentals as the deals proposed are absurd (well prices the owner articulated were simply exorbitant).
I will definitely return to Mingshi as I loved the region and there is so much to discover. I will quite certainly look no further than the Yunlu. Location. Peacefulness. But above all because of the extraordinary customer friendly attitude and the good spirit of the ”team”.
XXiaomahuifeioOn a family trip, we booked three different rooms. We rented a car and drove there. The small road leading to the hotel in Mingshi Countryside was a bit bumpy, but the moment we stepped into the guesthouse lobby, it felt incredibly clean and comfortable. A friendly staff member came out beforehand to greet us, asking if we were guests and offering to help with our luggage. The complimentary fruits in the lobby were delicious, especially the peaches which were incredibly sweet! After checking in, we were too lazy to venture out for lunch, so we had a simple meal at the guesthouse, and the food was quite good! We had also pre-ordered roast chicken for dinner. Our three kids were immediately drawn to the upstairs swimming pool and had an absolute blast playing, even under the scorching sun. Having a swimming pool is fantastic and perfect for a relaxing family trip with children. For breakfast, the hotel was very thoughtful; seeing that we had several children, they provided breakfast for everyone. It was served in individual portions and tasted great. To explore the area, we rented electric tuk-tuks downstairs. It was quite hot, so we just had a quick spin around. A tip for others: remember to bargain for the price! Overall, we were extremely satisfied. The kids didn't want to leave and just wanted to keep playing in the pool. Oh, and one crucial thing to mention: when we checked out, our child accidentally left a bag in the lobby. We only realized it was missing when we arrived at Chongzuo South Station to return our rental car! We immediately contacted the hotel, and their responsible staff diligently found the bag and even mailed it back to us. We are incredibly grateful. We would definitely stay here again if we have the chance. We wish the hotel all the best!
EEatPrayTravelAll staff members, from manager, front desk lady and the cleaning team were all very helpful and super friendly, which made our stay very pleasant. The location of the hotel is very close to the falls, making it very convenient to visit. Since it was slow season when we were there, the hotel manager was able to provide courtesy drop off and pick up service to the waterfalls which was very much appreciated. Room was very spacious, clean and the beds very comfortable. Water pressure was perfect making bath time feel like a treat! We were allocated a room facing the mountains and the view was very beautiful, especially at sunset, one can sit back and enjoy the magic hour. Lovely stay!!
MMaomaozhuA family of three and four children booked two rooms at Zhenshan and stayed there for two nights. They arrived in the afternoon of the first day, had some noodles and then checked in at Yulingba and Xingfu Bridge. They arrived at Detian on the second day, came back to rest, and left the hotel on the third day and headed to the next stop.
Zhenshan is in a very good location, close to the Xingfu Bridge in Yulingba and a little far from the Xingfu Community, but you can get there by renting an electric scooter (the price is negotiable). It is also a 40-minute drive from Detian by car.
The breakfast at Zhenshan is rich and well-supplied. One bowl of noodles is enough for a big or small snack for us. The Shiwei restaurant opposite to the restaurant is pretty good, and the hand-made yellow-skinned lemon dish next to it is delicious. If you have high demands for food and can afford the prices, you can go to the Chinese restaurants there. (The last few pictures are from there)
EEatPrayTravelLocation of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area.
GGuest UserHis house is really noisy and the sound insulation is very poor. I went there during the off-peak season. At 10pm, you could hear the aunt upstairs hahahaha while lying in bed, the children next door shouting for mommy, and the uncles blowing a**. Then a new round starts at 6 a.m. 🤷🏽♀️There is a construction site behind, and drilling starts after 8 a.m. Absolutely amazing!
The service is even better. I couldn't open the door with my room card. I went upstairs and downstairs twice and determined that there was something wrong with their lock. They didn't ask you to change a room, but asked you to stand in the corridor and wait. I don’t know what I’m thinking when I open the door for you and don’t give you a card. I said you can prescribe something else for me and you can slowly fix it yourself. She suspected that I was lying on her bed, and I was speechless. Please avoid lightning.
GGuest UserThe villa counter staff are prompt in responding to every request. They are very helpful, polite and professional. So is everyone else, including the housekeeping cleaners. The shuttle bus comes readily when called.
Our courtyard room for 3 with a loft on level 2, with balcony facing the pool is new, clean and well-furnished. There are 4 of us and extra blankets and pillows are given readily upon request for the 4th person.
The shower heater in the bathroom works well and water drains well in the bathroom. The air heater works perfectly to keep us warm in the winter cold.
Buffer breakfast has a big variety of very delicious food, including hot noodle soup with meat and vegetables.
The traditional dance at 8pm is a must-watch especially the lighting of fire and mass dance at the finale.
Everyone and everything are excellent and make our stay so pleasant and memorable.
However we still feel that the room rate is too pricey for a rural environment. And there’s no need to have boat tickets daily. One time boat-ride is sufficient.
TTianyihuo7742Go to Chongzuo Mingxuan Pastoral in Guangxi to play the room, follow the navigation into the village entrance not far away, the door can be parked, is arranged on the third floor, floor-to-ceiling window view room, but there is a better view room! The same as the landscape of the community there, the price is much cheaper! Traveling to see the scenery, accommodation is just a sleep! The room was clean, the toilet smelled a bit, the landlord borrowed a bicycle for me, riding the view, very good! There is also a restaurant on the first floor, breakfast 10/person, dinner can be ordered! The taste is OK, the first day to eat stir-fried vegetables, the next day to eat a warm pot, the price is still OK! The ingredients are also very fresh! Overall, it is recommended to stay and eat!
