"The environment and facilities are very new, after all, it was newly opened this year. The hotel is also in the central area. There is a large square not far away which is quite lively at night. The room is also very spacious. The bathroom has dry and wet separation, which is also a detail. The bedding is also very good. It is equipped with two pillows, one soft and one hard. The only thing is that I ordered a takeaway to be delivered upstairs when I checked in. The delivery guy didn't bring it up but put it at the front desk. Although the girl at the front desk brought it up to me later, I still felt uncomfortable."

"The guesthouse was absolutely gorgeous, decorated in a minimalist style. The materials used in both the hard and soft furnishings were top-notch. They even had a Dyson hairdryer, and the bedding was wonderfully comfortable. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning views of the Blackwater River, including the mountains and fields. Occasionally, you could even see boats passing by. I must also mention their breakfast and afternoon tea – they were plentiful and exquisite. The housekeeper was incredibly professional, providing impeccable service, patiently answering all our questions, and even helping us with our luggage. I was a little worried before arriving, but the experience far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!"

"The location is great, very close to Blue Hole Cafe and Detian Waterfall. This is one of the guesthouses in town with comprehensive facilities and an elegant environment. The mountain view room is beautiful, spacious, bright, and well-equipped. The hotel pool is excellent, with beautiful views and it's well-maintained and clean. They also have a card room and arcade games, so you won't get bored. Overall, the service was decent. Even with the large crowds during the May Day holiday, things were pretty orderly. The only area for improvement is the food. The hotpot for dinner was a generous portion but the taste was just average, and the breakfast set only offered soy milk and regular milk for drinks. I hope they'll add a coffee option. Everything else was quite good."

I didn't get to try the cave hot spring, which is a shame; I'll definitely set aside time to relax at the hotel next time. They even gave us a thoughtful brown sugar gift upon check-out. ☺️"

We left at 7:00 AM and asked the hotel to prepare some takeout, but they said they didn't have any! A 4-star hotel doesn't offer breakfast takeout service. The next day, breakfast was already served, and the front desk said they had started early. Didn't they call to inform us before starting? We asked several times but received no response!"

"The Mingshi Garden Scenic Area is quite large, but the navigation was accurate, so we found it easily. This guesthouse is a converted local villager's house, and there's parking available right at the entrance. However, driving into the village was a bit messy due to ongoing construction at other guesthouses nearby. The infinity pool on the rooftop is definitely the best spot for photos. The bedding and air conditioning in the room were very comfortable. Breakfast offered basic meals, and on the first floor, they also provided complimentary mung bean soup (after 6 PM), peaches, and local lycheu. The room rate of over 700 RMB is close to what you'd pay for a five-star hotel in the city, but staying in late June meant we avoided the peak season prices of July and August. The restaurant on the first floor also serves lunch and dinner, and you can order à la carte. The front desk staff were gentle and soft-spoken. My only slight complaint about this stay was on the first day, there were flies in the room, and the mosquito repellent spray bottle was empty."

"When booking, many other guesthouses in core areas were fully booked. I was drawn to this one's triple room and 180-degree view room, and my stay was a pleasant surprise. The guesthouse has an elevator and convenient parking. The rooms are very clean with smart voice control. The triple room has one double bed and two single beds, which is perfect for families with two children. The 180-degree view room is very spacious, with mountains and rural scenery outside the window. You can even light a stove in the room, which was a fun experience. Breakfast is served individually, with coarse grain rice noodles, eggs, fried dough sticks, congee, and fruit – much more substantial than I expected. There are many restaurants and rental shops for electric bikes near the guesthouse. It's also very convenient to cycle to various scenic spots in Mingshi Countryside.
