The hotel is very stunning. It is a stunning beauty that cannot be truly reflected by the official photos of Ctrip and the photos of guests. The mountain scenery of Guangxi needs to be seen with the naked eye. The mobile phone cannot capture the grandeur of the scene. The hotel housekeeper Jane is a model of hard work. The area is beautiful. The tent and tent area are very nice. My kids loved it! The receptionist Li Lin 李霖 and the rest of the team are very nice and helpful. Beds are comfortable. The pillow was too high for me, but my husband didn’t complain. If you are light and sound sensitive when sleeping, then bring earplugs and sleeping eye mask, because is a tent, of course. The tent I booked was very comfortable in size for two adults and two kids. It had two queen beds and one single bed. There is tv and amenities (shampoo&Co, toothbrush, shaving kit, hair dryer). Breakfast was Chinese style buffet, which we are happy with. The restaurant belongs to another hotel in the same area (there are several hotels in that park). You can order bbq set. Nice quality meat and veggies. I would recommend this camping area for any family with kids. There is a playground area as well and is nice to walk through the trees.

The room is really hard to describe. Maybe the old kapok operated by the same company will be much better than the flower house.
There are many problems with the water pressure in the room and sewerage.
The breakfast was just okay, but there was no free or paid coffee in the entire hotel. .
However, the hotel area is indeed very large. If you have plenty of time, it would be nice to go shopping and climb the mountains.
In a duplex room, there are many screws exposed on the stairs, which is unsafe, and the stair handrails are damaged, so be careful when bringing children.
Everything is good in Chongzuo, but I won't come again. . .

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. In fact, I usually stay in hotels that cost 200 or 300 yuan when I go out. The garden view of the hotel's big bed room is blocked by trees. I changed to a better room, but I still don't like it. The room is very dark and not friendly to people with poor eyesight. Unexpectedly, the mosquitoes are as fierce as tigers. The bites are all lumps, and blisters appear the next day. The hotel waiter took iodine and then took Fengyoujing, and it was quiet. There were mosquitoes in early March and I was drunk. The breakfast was rich, the dinner was not bad, and the housekeeper's service was warm and thoughtful. It was a good experience. In addition, the hotel sent a bamboo raft tour, which was quite interesting. There were flutes and mountain songs along the way. It was a good experience.

When checking in, we upgraded directly to the Old Kapok Hotel. The hotel in this scenic area is managed by the Guangdong Tourism Group and should be the best and most formal hotel near Detian Waterfall. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews? The front desk customer service is very polite and patient. The room is clean and tidy, and fruits are sent thoughtfully. There are bags for bathing in wooden barrels. It's so comfortable to take a bath after a day in Detian.
The hotel itself is a scenic spot, it is worth a visit. There are boundary monuments and rivers behind it, so you don't have to go to Detian to line up for photos.
The hotel is seven or eight kilometers away from the main gate of Detian, suitable for self-driving or chartered travel.
The hotel has breakfast with a rich variety.
If you bring your family and don't want to try and make mistakes, choose this Kapok Hotel. There is also a RV camping site behind it, with a children's playground, which is really recommended.

EEatPrayTravelLocation of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area.

AAnonymous UserBecause the trip was booked in a hurry, several online celebrity stores were fully booked. Only this new store still had rooms. It seemed that it was a new store and there was no problem with hygiene, so I booked a room for three days.
When we got far away, we saw the picturesque courtyard with white walls and gray tiles. When we opened the door, we could smell the original scent of wood. The room was very large, with floor-to-ceiling windows and electric curtains. Outside the window, we could see mountains and fields that looked like ink paintings. The room was soundproofed. Very good, the room layout is Zen-like, clean and hygienic. Needless to say, I like the style very much.
Since there were not many places to choose from to eat in the town, we chose to eat in the store. Unexpectedly, it really suited our appetite. The tableware was also exquisite and hygienic, and the rice noodles and siu mai for breakfast were so filling.
The young couple in the store are very enthusiastic, and the waiters and cleaners are also very polite and responsive to all requests. In short, this is a highly recommended store. Not much to say, as the picture above proves.

GGuest UserThe villa counter staff are prompt in responding to every request. They are very helpful, polite and professional. So is everyone else, including the housekeeping cleaners. The shuttle bus comes readily when called.
Our courtyard room for 3 with a loft on level 2, with balcony facing the pool is new, clean and well-furnished. There are 4 of us and extra blankets and pillows are given readily upon request for the 4th person.
The shower heater in the bathroom works well and water drains well in the bathroom. The air heater works perfectly to keep us warm in the winter cold.
Buffer breakfast has a big variety of very delicious food, including hot noodle soup with meat and vegetables.
The traditional dance at 8pm is a must-watch especially the lighting of fire and mass dance at the finale.
Everyone and everything are excellent and make our stay so pleasant and memorable.
However we still feel that the room rate is too pricey for a rural environment. And there’s no need to have boat tickets daily. One time boat-ride is sufficient.

There is a restaurant next to it for dining. You can drive here by yourself. There is a paid parking lot. Stay for one night and you can go to Detian Waterfall Scenic Area the next morning. The hotel owner can buy tickets for you, but you need to register the night before.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a little far from Chongzuo but you can hire a Didi for about 380RMB from the chongzuo train station. The hotel is located in a beautiful park where you can take a walk and see the 100 doors (I think it was called) and walk all the way to the border post 3. It's was surreal. Across the river you can see Vietnamese house and people. we waved. a drone showed up we left. To go to the waterfall we walked from the hotel to the tourist center. About a 45 minute walk. Not bad once you get there.
The hotel is old and starting to show the tear. You can tell it was once great but no renovations have been made in forever. The carpet had stains on it. not tiny ones. The little mini balcony was dusty. The bed was big but on the hard side. The towels are frazzling it was unbelievable. The breakfast , if you are not full on on Chinese breakfast its a no no. AND no coffee EVEN though the COFFEE MACHINE looked like it had just been plugged off. sign sating being fixed. come on .It's a 4 diamond rating but it felt more like 2. It's also smaller than it links in the video and pics. There's an awesome restaurant at the entrance on the right. It made a whole lotta difference. Highly reccomend eating here. And we did!Twice. Food was not bad. definitely order the ribs. The staff is nice especially the restaurant lady.
