The room was new and clean, and the owners were very welcoming. The hotel is one of the few in Shuolong Town with an elevator, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a view of Vietnam; you can see the scenery across the river just by sitting by the window. Also, the hotel's private kitchen dishes were excellent. The food was delicious, with Vietnamese flavors, and we rated it a 7 out of 10 for the best meal of our trip. We will definitely stay here again next time we have the chance.

Shanyao Xiaozhu Guesthouse may sound unassuming, but stepping into the rooms is a pleasant surprise. First, the cleanliness is impeccable; the beds and rooms are spotless, comparable to a five-star hotel. Second, the service is excellent. The owner is very welcoming and responsive to any questions. When we couldn't find Yushui Dam while driving there, he kindly suggested we call him – a truly kind gesture. The guesthouse is conveniently located near the scenic area entrance, easy to find, and very quiet at night. It even has an elevator, which is rare for a guesthouse. The rooms are particularly noteworthy – each one is large and spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views of the scenic area. I couldn't resist taking several photos. The curtains are automatic, the toilet is a smart toilet, and the bedding is excellent. There's also a table, two chairs, and high-quality toiletries, a hairdryer, and slippers. Having traveled extensively and stayed in various hotels of all levels and star ratings, I feel that Shanyao Xiaozhu Guesthouse offers a five-star experience at an economy price. All 14 of us in our group were extremely satisfied.

I really enjoyed my stay here, especially the quietness of the evenings and mornings after then hustle and bustles of the tours. It was an accidental discovery as I was looking for something nearby Mingshi Village . It is situated right next to the ticket office of Dongnayuwan, so it is very convenient after a long day of exploration. The whole area, including the hotel is under early renovation to be developed for tourism, so don’t expect it to be perfect yet. The host was so kind and accommodating. The food was a good display of what the locals like to eat. The rooms are big and perfect for families. I sleep really well and the bedding are as comfortable as pictured, which is why I chose this place. The river view is a beautiful to wake up to.

The surrounding environment is equally impressive, with fresh air and picturesque scenery. Staying here felt like being nestled in the heart of nature. The service at this hotel is simply outstanding. The front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. They immediately offered to help with my luggage upon arrival and patiently provided recommendations for nearby attractions and local dining options. Check-in was handled swiftly, with absolutely no waiting time. Moreover, the staff proactively assisted me in booking tickets for the Detian Waterfall for the following day, which saved me a lot of hassle. Throughout my stay, any request I had was met with an immediate response. Their service attitude truly couldn't be faulted. As for the room, I stayed in one with a balcony. It was spacious, bright, spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. The room was fully equipped with all necessary amenities: 24-hour hot water, air conditioning, TV, telephone, and complimentary Wi-Fi access. The Wi-Fi, in particular, was remarkably fast – perfect for streaming videos or gaming without any lag, which was a huge plus for someone like me who relies on constant internet access. The hotel also features a restaurant offering both Chinese cuisine and breakfast. The breakfast selection was extensive, including various porridges, breads, eggs, and more, all tasting quite good. Additionally, the hotel's restaurant serves specialty Vietnamese dishes that are both affordable and delicious, giving me a chance to savor authentic foreign flavors. Furthermore, the hotel provides complimentary parking, which is extremely convenient for guests traveling by car. The parking area is well-managed and secure, so there's no need to worry about vehicle safety. Overall, Daxin Detian Bianzhai Hotel boasts a superb location, exceptional service, comfortable rooms, and comprehensive facilities, making it an ideal choice for both tourism and relaxing getaways. If you're planning a trip to Detian Waterfall, I wholeheartedly recommend staying at this hotel; I'm confident you'll have a delightful travel experience!

The location is good. Just 300 metres to the official Mingshi scenic area and the Tourist Centre. There are shuttle buses at the Tourist Centre to Detian Waterfall every day at 8.30 am, 12 pm, and 4 pm at 15 Yuan per person. There are also return shuttle buses from Detian Waterfall to Mingshi. Staying at Kongshan Xiaozhu, we can enter the official Mingshi scenic area for the 8pm night performance by showing the card given to us by the boss. Travelling to Kongshan Xiaozhu is very convenient by coach from Nanning Xixiangtang Bus Station. The driver will drop you at the roadside just 1 min walk to Kongshan Xiaozhu. Return to Nanning is also the same. The driver will pick you up at the roadside.

Hey Shanghainese folks, listen up! It's only a few hundred meters from the actual main entrance, but for lazy people, it might be a bit of a trek. You can drive there, and parking is 30 RMB. The guesthouse itself is really great – clean and relatively quiet! It's the tallest and largest guesthouse around, standing out from the ones on either side, so the views are unobstructed. During the National Day holiday, things were busy, but the landlady kept her cool and was super responsive to everything, which I really appreciated. Honestly, after looking around this trip, the service here was better than other so-called high-end guesthouses. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. There's parking right outside. I didn't have the landlady buy the 80 RMB tickets for me because she couldn't get them until 8:30 AM, and the scenic area opens at 7:30 AM. I bought my 110 RMB ticket online directly and was the first one through the gates on National Day. By 9 AM, when I was done and leaving, the peak crowds were just arriving. Then I went back to the guesthouse, took a shower, had some noodles, and relaxed watching a Vietnamese drama – pretty sweet!

Really lovely guesthouse in the Mingshi scenic area with very warm and welcoming owners. The area is quite peaceful and rural. They make delicious home-style cooking using rice and vegetables grown in their own fields, which you can see at the back of the building. We stayed here during our visit to Detian Waterfall, and also explored the Mingshi landscapes. The bus to Detian Waterfall passes through the village every morning at 8:30, so you can save some money on transportation to get there. Our hosts got us free entry to the Mingshi Tian Yuan park in the evening to watch the Zhuang ethnic minority performances. Usually it costs ¥80 entry. They lent us bicycles and it was an easy 5-10 min cycle there. Overall, highly recommend this place to other travellers!

Generally not evaluated, but I feel very good. In the newly opened homestay, we booked two rooms for two nights. The scenery outside the window was very good. The twin rooms on the second floor and the third floor were all floor-to-ceiling windows. The big bed room on the fourth floor had a balcony and I liked it very much. The price was right. The owner of the hotel is very good, and the situation is solved in time. They also opened a drink stall downstairs and sent us juice. I have introduced my friends, the door is the fish scale dam, and the night market stall is downstairs. convenient.

The guesthouse is located right next to the Dongnayu Bay Scenic Area, making it very convenient to visit the area. Parking is readily available in front of the guesthouse, making it ideal for those driving. The rooms offer views of the river, allowing you to see the tourist boats passing by. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the owner is very welcoming.

Stay here! You can stay at the park gate. Drive up to it at night. Sleep here. He’ll go get your tickets in the morning for you and then you can be in the park at 8:30. You’ll arrive right as the people who have to bus in arrive but if you’re not in a group you can get ahead of everyone and enjoy the park and be on your way around noon
