Daxin Hotels with Breakfast

Extremely satisfied with this guesthouse! I initially chose this location because the electric scooter parking at Yu Lin Ba (Fish Scale Dam) costs money, so I figured I'd stay here, see the dam, and then rent a scooter. That turned out to be a great decision – the location is incredibly advantageous, and currently, this guesthouse offers the best value and is the prettiest in the area. The hotel rooms come with washing machines, there's a 'Sky Mirror' on the rooftop, and a kids' pool downstairs. What really stands out is how attentive they are to every detail. Every corner is spotless. When I went to the Sky Mirror at noon, an auntie even specially cleaned the glass. The swimming rings by the pool were all nice and new, not tattered at all. The room also had a Tmall Genie, and the cleaning was impeccable. I arrived early, and they opened one room for me, and I practically watched them prepare the adjacent one. When we checked in, the staff immediately took photos of our license plate to link it to the parking system. The service was incredibly thoughtful, and we even received brown sugar as a parting gift when we checked out. A truly delightful stay!

I booked this guesthouse last minute and it exceeded my expectations. It's a quiet little place tucked away in a bustling area. The location is right at the entrance of Shuolong Street. Across the river is Vietnam, and the border crossing is to the left. They have their own parking area, which is very convenient. Our triple room was on the fifth floor. There's an elevator, which is great for the elderly. The views are expansive. The room has wooden tables and chairs, which adds a nice touch. The food was also delicious. It's a charming little spot with a lot of character.

1. Amazing hospitality. The hotel owner, Shaowei was there to help us in every possible way. She brought us to see the panoramic view of Mingshi Tianyuan with her own expenses. She also took us to another place to watch native people’s dance, sing and bonfire after dinner. She also helped me to catch a local bus to another town. Her kindness was simply beyond my expectations. If I come back to Mingshi, the reason will be not the town itself, but Shaowei. 2. Flawless cleanness Everything looked to be built just now. Clean, comfortable and tidy. No smell of cigarette or whatsoever. 3. Decent breakfast Breakfast is simple but the taste is good. You can enjoy rice noodle, rice porridge and fruits with good tea and soy milk. 4. Great location The hotel is located close to the bus station and you can get on any local bus passing by easily. Good restaurants are everywhere nearby as well. Thank you so much for all the help and care. I really wish to meet you again.

This was my second stay at this hotel. I had such a great experience the first time I stayed here alone, so when I brought my parents to visit, I chose this hotel again. Every staff member was as attentive and friendly as ever. Whether checking in, checking out, or needing to go out for any reason, you can contact the hotel for a shuttle service. They even proactively help with luggage, showing great attention to detail. The hotel's location is extremely convenient, right within the Mingshi Pastoral Scenic Area. They also provide free bicycles, allowing you to directly access and explore the scenic area from the hotel, which is very handy. The room was clean and spacious, with complete amenities, and the view from the balcony was also lovely. The restaurant environment is excellent, and the view from the window is stunning. There's a wide selection of coffee, and the quality is consistently good. I look forward to staying here again!

Shanyao Xiaozhu Guesthouse may sound unassuming, but stepping into the rooms is a pleasant surprise. First, the cleanliness is impeccable; the beds and rooms are spotless, comparable to a five-star hotel. Second, the service is excellent. The owner is very welcoming and responsive to any questions. When we couldn't find Yushui Dam while driving there, he kindly suggested we call him – a truly kind gesture. The guesthouse is conveniently located near the scenic area entrance, easy to find, and very quiet at night. It even has an elevator, which is rare for a guesthouse. The rooms are particularly noteworthy – each one is large and spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views of the scenic area. I couldn't resist taking several photos. The curtains are automatic, the toilet is a smart toilet, and the bedding is excellent. There's also a table, two chairs, and high-quality toiletries, a hairdryer, and slippers. Having traveled extensively and stayed in various hotels of all levels and star ratings, I feel that Shanyao Xiaozhu Guesthouse offers a five-star experience at an economy price. All 14 of us in our group were extremely satisfied.

The location is good. Just 300 metres to the official Mingshi scenic area and the Tourist Centre. There are shuttle buses at the Tourist Centre to Detian Waterfall every day at 8.30 am, 12 pm, and 4 pm at 15 Yuan per person. There are also return shuttle buses from Detian Waterfall to Mingshi. Staying at Kongshan Xiaozhu, we can enter the official Mingshi scenic area for the 8pm night performance by showing the card given to us by the boss. Travelling to Kongshan Xiaozhu is very convenient by coach from Nanning Xixiangtang Bus Station. The driver will drop you at the roadside just 1 min walk to Kongshan Xiaozhu. Return to Nanning is also the same. The driver will pick you up at the roadside.

Staying at the Enjoy Border City Hotel with our kids was a great experience! The hotel's location is close to Detian Waterfall, which made getting around super easy. They have a pool and a kids' play area, so our little ones had a blast. The grounds are large and beautiful, offering stunning mountain and river views. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the service was very friendly. Plus, there's free laundry, which is perfect for family trips. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit. They even gave us a complimentary souvenir at check-out – what a pleasant surprise!

The area is beautiful. The tent and tent area are very nice. My kids loved it! The receptionist Li Lin 李霖 and the rest of the team are very nice and helpful. Beds are comfortable. The pillow was too high for me, but my husband didn’t complain. If you are light and sound sensitive when sleeping, then bring earplugs and sleeping eye mask, because is a tent, of course. The tent I booked was very comfortable in size for two adults and two kids. It had two queen beds and one single bed. There is tv and amenities (shampoo&Co, toothbrush, shaving kit, hair dryer). Breakfast was Chinese style buffet, which we are happy with. The restaurant belongs to another hotel in the same area (there are several hotels in that park). You can order bbq set. Nice quality meat and veggies. I would recommend this camping area for any family with kids. There is a playground area as well and is nice to walk through the trees.

The room facilities, though a bit dated, were very well-maintained and clean, showing the hotel's dedication. The hotel is located near the Guichun River within the scenic area, offering views of the Vietnamese people across the river, though the barbed wire fence is a bit of a letdown. However, the hotel's garden restaurant is an absolute disaster—the food is unappetizing and truly awful. I'd recommend eating before you check in or returning to the hotel to rest after you've had a meal elsewhere.
