Across Country Motor Inn
"Google Easy to book, friendly lady at checkin. We had a twin bed room which was sadly lacking in every respect apart from the air con which appeared to be fairly new. Flyscreen on window missing, was on roof below so unable to have window open as multiple insects came in. Very noisy as on busy road. Exhaust fan in bathroom had no cover and was extremely dirty and full of cobwebs, window sill full of dead insects and dirt. Tap in basin very wobbly and not attached to basin properly.Freezer compartment in very old fridge was detached and unusable. Bedside tables , skirting boards very dirty as well as coverlet on one bed needed a wash. Shower gel and conditioner containers in shower were empty. No wardrobe .For $190 a night for two people we were very disappointed and could not recommend."
Forest Lodge Motor Inn & Restaurant
"Not many places (still) allow furry friends to stay with their owners. It was quite difficult to locate a pet friendly motel in Dubbo. Fortunately for us, and our two Aussie Shepherds, this motel is. Also: Plenty of hot water. Comfy bed. Has a Thai restaurant on site, which was handy for us as we arrived quite late and couldn’t be bothered driving anywhere to look for a place to eat. 👍"
Golden West Motor Inn
The Oxley Motel Dubbo
"I booked this hotel on trip.com for $146.10 but when i checked out I was invoiced $148.29 , extra $2.19 transaction fee, Why??? I thought the full amount is $146.10. I never pay more than what I am quoted for on trip.com Disappointed!"
Tallarook Motor Inn
Centrepoint Motel
"We were offered a warm and friendly greeting by the manager and given the key to unit 6, which is pet friendly. We spent four nights at this venue and the manager was at all times friendly. We understand the manager can only work with the property she is supplied, and I do not wish the following comments to reflect on her. When we opened the door to unit 6 the air conditioner was on, appreciated on a hot day. There was a foldable little round table with two foldable chairs, all with thick dust on the rungs. When we sat on the chairs they made strange noises as though they were about to collapse. There were sad brown curtains as the window, which we had to keep closed due to there being no privacy curtains. The unit was designated as a dis-abled unit and the bathroom was very large. There was a shower chair available, but no where in the shower to put soap etc. Also no space in the bathroom to put clothes. The only lighting in the unit was from two large downlights. The turntable in the small microwave did not turn. Flooring is wood grain vinyl which looked drab and dirty. According to the website the unit had a kitchenette, coffee machine, a desk, stove top, kitchenware and a sitting area. None of these was in the unit. The door had paint missing and was dirty, as was the wall. We paid $213 per night for this dreadful experience. It is our understanding that some of the units had been refurbished, but this definitely did not apply to the unit we were allotted"
Fountain View Motel

"Country Apartments was a great place to stay. It's very close to the main road of Dubbo and some attractions such as the Gaol. The Cottage we stayed in was very roomy. Especially the bedrooms which gave my family plenty of room and comfort. Rosemarie was very helpful. She is a lovely, welcoming lady who was always willing to assist in making our stay pleasurable."
