Fountain View Motel
"Very surprised at the modern decor. The owners have made a huge effort to modernise rooms well beyond the usual motel room. Beautifully done, well equipped the with everything you need for a short stopover. Clean, quiet and easiest check in ever."
Matilda Motor Inn
"Not great. Sewage odour in bath room. Old soft bed and smelly pillows."
Forest Lodge Motor Inn & Restaurant
"Check in started badly with reception unattended and a contact phone number posted on the door. Fortunately, we had a charged mobile phone – but it is inexcusable to not have the reception attended during normal business hours. A voice provided the lock box code, which contained 8-10 envelopes for incoming guests. The restaurant was closed, possibly due to a holiday absence – but would not open until several days after we departed. A hot cooked breakfast was available, cooked to order and well done. Wi-Fi was available but limited. Service staff were attentive and helpful, even when the reception was again unattended at checkout time and the cleaner processed the payment for breakfasts. A nice motel, reasonable pricing let down by the lack of presence!!"
Golden West Motor Inn
Across Country Motor Inn
"Google Easy to book, friendly lady at checkin. We had a twin bed room which was sadly lacking in every respect apart from the air con which appeared to be fairly new. Flyscreen on window missing, was on roof below so unable to have window open as multiple insects came in. Very noisy as on busy road. Exhaust fan in bathroom had no cover and was extremely dirty and full of cobwebs, window sill full of dead insects and dirt. Tap in basin very wobbly and not attached to basin properly.Freezer compartment in very old fridge was detached and unusable. Bedside tables , skirting boards very dirty as well as coverlet on one bed needed a wash. Shower gel and conditioner containers in shower were empty. No wardrobe .For $190 a night for two people we were very disappointed and could not recommend."
Country Leisure Motor Inn
"Clean and staff is kind and supportive. Recommend going to press for breakfast."
