Clink I Lár

We stayed at Clink i Lár in Dublin and overall found it clean, comfortable, and mostly quiet. The lobby has a nice coffee bar and a breakfast buffet (which looked good, but we didn’t try). If you’re interested in breakfast, book ahead—it’s 2 euros more if you wait. The onsite bar closes at midnight, which helps keep things quiet, though we arrived at 12:15 and missed out on a Guinness—disappointing timing! Check-in starts at 3 PM and checkout is a firm 10 AM—we overheard other guests who missed checkout by five minutes and were locked out of their room. We had two back-to-back bookings for a private six-bed room. Instead of letting us stay, they made us check out and check back in five hours later—even though it was the same room type. They offered a late checkout/early check-in option, but with extra fees per person. It seemed like more work for them and a frustrating policy for us. Overall, a good location and clean hostel, but the rigid booking policy was a downside.

This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! It has everything you need—great facilities for eating, drinking, and entertainment. The female dormitory is spotless and well-organized, with a private bathroom and shower. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable here. Highly recommended!

The hostel is conveniently located in the city center, within walking distance of all major attractions. Like most hostels, additional services come with extra charges. Luggage storage is available for €7 per locker for half a day, in case you arrive early or need to switch rooms during your stay. Bedsheets are provided, but guests are required to make their own beds.

It’s really good pleace

I stayed this hostel before and was good in that time. But this time organized me worst room to stay that is a room they connected 3 bank bed in one place, there is no storage like other room and they never cleaned that room in weeks. You hear someone's breath whole night literally beside in your ear, can enjoy sticky floor and room fill of some one's suit case. And they never allow to change room for you even I had 2 booking 1 week each for 2 weeks stay and try to check out after my 1st book for change that room. They combine 2 booking without my permission and saying "we book this bed 2 weeks for you and you are not allowed to change bed to another room" Thank you for your great service.

Good location for food and bars! Rooms were clean and beds were comfy.
