Good evening, I stay in Aparto Binary Hub, block E. I am writing to express my utmost displeasure at the rate at which some teenagers attack people close to the apartment. It is saddening to note that the apartment does absolutely nothing about it despite all the reports. Last year August, as I moved into the apartment, my sister and I were attacked by these group of teenagers right in front of the Aparto reception entrance. I reported the case and we were literally told nothing could be done about it. In December 2023, two of my classmates who reside in Aparto as well were also attacked prior to entering into the apartment by these same set of teenagers. One of them bled from the ears due to the attack. This was reported and absolutely nothing was done about it. In January 2024, one of my housemates came back to the apartment shaken and crying. When I inquired what happened, she stated that she was attacked by teenagers prior to entering block E gate. – Absolutely nothing was done about it. Sometime in February, some teenagers forcefully entered into the apartment gym, when they were asked to leave and that the gym was for only resident, they tried to cause chaos. Are there no CCTV cameras? I just got a call today, 1st of March 2024 from a friend who also resides in the apartment. She and her housemates were terribly attacked by teenagers as they were about coming to the Binary Hub Block E Close. She went to report to the reception, and to her dismay, she was told there was nothing they could do. I do not feel safe in this apartment environs. My friends and classmates that reside here also do not feel safe. Security should be priority, but it seems like nobody cares here.

I stayed here for a period of four months from January-May 2023 while studying in Dublin. While the accommodation itself is acceptable, only stay here if you are absolutely fine with maintenance men coming into your apartment at any and all hours of the day with no warning. The workers were apparently externally hired and not a part of Binary Hub staff, though they typically did not wear any type of uniform/form of identification other than occasional white overalls worn by the painters. They would constantly enter apartments without knocking or announcing themselves, and there would be little communication (and sometimes even none at all) from management about when they would be coming in to do work. Living in a female-only apartment, it is absolutely terrifying to open your bedroom door and see a grown man in a sweatshirt standing in your hallway or kitchen, or to be making lunch and suddenly see a man walking through your front door. Typically they would announce themselves when entering individual rooms, but even then the amount of time given between the announcement and the door being opened was incredibly minimal, and sometimes even involved opening doors and then announcing themselves afterwards. Additionally, they would often sing, swear, and talk extremely loudly in the apartment beginning at nine in the morning and occasionally lasting until five at night. These disturbances happened for a period of several weeks consistently, and then periodically throughout the rest of the semester. Despite several residents complaining, sending emails (to which no response was ever received), and even putting up signs in the hallways, nothing ever changed and no action was ever taken to make residents feel more comfortable. Though the workers themselves could be nice, their actions were extremely unprofessional and the Binary Hub staff had no concerns whatsoever. As it is now the week of final exams for my studies and I am still having to deal with maintenance workers coming in unannounced and doing work when I should be studying, I am at my wit’s end with this apartment. Also, the walls are lime green. Take that as you will.
