The food was fantastic but everything is about 6 times the price. The service was great also but in comparison to other 5 star hotels it could of done with some work for example the it was my first time in the spa area and I didn't really get very good directions as to where everything was such as in the Marker hotel I was greeted, given a tour and treated as a king which is what you should expect from first class service.

This hotel is incredible and I’m so happy I took a chance and made a reservation despite that I wasn’t sure as it was my first time visiting Dublin. The hospitality, the facilities and the location right in the heart of the city was PERFECT! They even help me schedule my tours and coordinate everything! My birthday was a Wednesday and the reception team sent me a sweet note, a box of chocolates and tickets for complementary drinks. This detail I will forever remember it and a special thank you to Dylan and Karen for showing up to my room and surprise me on my bday. Hope everyone can get to experience what I did this week. Thank you, Thank you Thank you!!! Going back home feeling happy, blessed and in love with this beautiful country. I will be back for sure 🇮🇪 Take care, Carla from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

Point A Hotel, what can I say. Well presented inside and out, the access to bedrooms locked behind a key card, the bar and breakfast area also immaculate. As you enter your bedroom it is well organised and has everything you need. The bed was a firm mattress but that was perfect, a surprised samsung 43” TV was waiting to be watched from the wall. With LED strip lights and mode lights all around the room and a decent air con to go with. The room had a safe but i never needed to use it. The one LED strip light on the curtain track was losing its stick and i had to reattach it everytime the curtains where opened. Speaking of which the arrangement I felt was weird as it typically goes curtain than net curtain from inside looking out, this hotel went net curtain then curtain. Maybe you do get some rooms with a view, i most certainly did not, considering how close it is to the heart of the city and Temple Bar. My window view consisted of an opposite rooms window and exterior build walls and a steep drop down below. If you are looking for a well presented hotel with decent sleep quality, this hotel is for you, if you are on your own this hotel may not be for you, due to its lack of hot meals at breakfast and throughout the day. For a hotel at £180 a night, you could easily get a hotel with a hot food breakfast and evening meals nearby, the price structure like the rest of Dublin is overpriced for what it is, one of the cheaper priced hotels but still not worth the price. The breakfast was ”okay” you had a selection of 2 cheeses, 3 sandwich meats, 3-5 pastry options like pain au chocolat, croissants, scones, sausage rolls and mini bread rolls / baguettes. Was some cereal options too, a choice between orange juice, apple juice and ice water, then your usual hot drinks choice. It was all fresh and well presented, i just wish it had a cooked option too. In terms of location, ignoring the building opposite that was a form whiskey shop. It was great, right around the corner from O'connell Street, where it was incredibly busy, multiple shopping centre esque buildings along each side street, with id say 10 minutes you can be in Temple Bar area on the South Side of the River by foot. With such easy access to trams, buses, taxis near enough on your doorstep, and the far enough away from Temple Bar to not hear it, but close enough to go there was ideal. In quiet traffic from the airport you can make it in 15minutes. So to summarise, it was a good, but overpriced

The walls between the rooms are so thin that I can hear every word the neighbours are saying. Add to this the fact that four people next door decided to have a ******* bender which had them up the entire night right up until 11AM and you can kiss your sleep goodbye. Initially there were about 8 people in the room being extremely loud so I called the front desk, they sent security, and there was blissful silence for all of 10 minutes. Hotel was very responsive there, can't complain about the staff. Anyway then a few of them snuck back in. From that point on they weren't being particularly loud, they were just talking and occasionally laughing. But I could hear every. single. word. Even with noise-cancelling earphones in I could hear them above my music. An entire night lying wide awake because of the hotel's crappy construction. You're rolling the dice at this hotel. If you even end up next-door to somebody who snores prepare for a sleepless night.

How sound proof are these rooms! Wow, in the heart of the city and slept sound, better than a baby on a 1st Class Flight. I’m a Dubliner, left Ireland 24 years ago and came back for Paddy’s Weekend. I arrived amongst the thrills and excitement of the parade, with everything only a stones throw away. Great location for the center of Dublin. Although the reception area was a little underwhelming compared to other hotels of same price and stars, it was a true joy to stay here. Spent a lot of time in Temple Bar area and of course the marvelous Horse Shoe Bar at the Shelbourne Hotel.

Beautiful hotel in a peaceful and gorgeous part of Dublin. A few minutes walk away from the Green Line LUAS. The more compact bedrooms are a bit on the small side for a couple, but they’re still well appointed, very new and clean, and comfortable. The hotel bar is cosy and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The only downside is the lack of parking, you’ll have to park onstreet at fairly considerable expense. Not really the fault of the hotel, but it is something to note if you’re driving here.
Our hotel is in the heart of Dublin, just across the street from the Four Courts complex. Dublinia Museum, Guinness Brewery, Jameson Distillery, and the iconic Temple Bar are all within two kilometers. Getting around is easy with a tram stop and bikeshare across the street, and multiple bus stops within two blocks.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Loved the room, the breakfast, the kindness of the staff and the all around great vibes of the place. I’ve never stayed at a hotel I’ve enjoyed as much as I enjoyed this one.
From this point forward, this hotel is my go-to hotel in Dublin. I can’t wait to return!!

From booking our stay to checkout, our entire experience was excellent. This is a 4 star, airport hotel, yes... but it's park location, proximity to the city and decor that would be at home in a gorgeous boutique hotel makes for an altogether elevated experience. Nadia could not have done more for us when we called to book and she really set the standard from the get go. Check in was smooth and pleasant and while the room was probably one of the last ones that hasn't been renovated it was huge, clean, comfortable, stylish (maybe very slightly dated) and had everything we could possibly need. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, the shower pressure was good and the toiletries were all lovely. The little room snacks were also high quality and very nice. Every other member of staff we interacted with was extremely professional and personable, especially the waiting staff in the bar, where were had 2 very nice coffees. The breakfast was also extremely good and checkout was quick and painless. A taxi to the Grafton St area will set you back about €20 and the number 16 bus goes by, just outside the park very regularly. The parking facilities are excellent and the airport shuttle is incredibly convenient, modern and very clean. It's such a good all rounder. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. I think this is the best value 4 Star in Dublin.

GGuest UserI stayed for four nights with my teenage daughter on a mother-daughter trip. Got a great rate booking a few months in advance, and I am so impressed with the value received for the price. We were given a room with two beds on the top floor facing the courtyard- it was quiet and comfortable. I brought earplugs after reading some reviews about noise, but we didn’t need them. The bathroom was updated and the shower was great- hot and nice pressure. The beds were a little “creaky” but comfortable, and the linens were cozy. The hotel staff were helpful, the restaurant was good for breakfast (although we chose to eat elsewhere most mornings) and Darkey Kelly’s pub on the first floor had great food and music. The location is fantastic- we were able to walk pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. I really can’t find a single fault with this hotel for the price. Would definitely stay again.
GGuest UserExcellent hotel, undergoing some refurbishment so some workmen around with associated noise and disruption.
Had 1 small issue with our room, offered and accepted a change of room, which the hotel sorted within an hour of arriving and checking in.
Able to leave bags on check in and check out days without any problems.
Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and catered for all diets and requirements.
Central location on O'Connell Street, easily walkable to most central attractions and hop on / off bus tours directly outside.
Would 100% stay again.
GGuest UserHostels around the world need to take note of what a real hostel is — and that's Jacobs Inn Hostel in Dublin. Located in the center of Dublin and easy to locate, you're greeted with friendly, warm staff who can help you with anything you need. Advice on landmarks, restaurants, events, they have an answer. The commons area is packed full of people working, socializing or just simply relaxing. Music is not too loud so communicating and working is made easy. It's very atmospheric and it's a great place to make new friends on your travels. It's amazing decorated and their bar/dining area is incredible. Breakfast is served and you're offered a good variety to choose from. The rooms, or pods, are clean, well-maintained and the bathrooms are neat. You're afforded privacy in a modern fashion.
CCynthia MilesAlthough the whole area was under construction, the actual location was excellent. We walked almost everywhere to all major attractions such as Parliament, Big Ben, the Eye, Westminster Abbey, the Bridges, etc. As a runner it was easy to simply follow the Thames so I wouldn’t get lost. I liked the Gym and Pool and especially loved the restaurant. The restaurant was very dirty, the seats needed to be brushed out and wiped down, even the chair legs were greasy looking BUT the food was really good. The bar did not carry any Cabernet wine which was odd.. our bar tender Danny was very good and friendly.
I liked our suite, it looked over the railroad tracks but worth it for us with 2 teenage boys to have the suite.
The entrance to the hotel was extremely over bearing with a strong perfumed air freshener… it made it difficult to breathe upon entering but as soon as I got away from it in the elevator I could breathe.
Overall, it was a good place to stay for a vacation in London.
SSquintyWe were super happy with our stay at the crowne plaza. Dublin is an expensive city but if you book the room for four people here, you get great value. The breakfast was awesome too!
GGuest UserLast time I stayed here ( about 6 years ago?) room was dirty so have not been back again until three weeks ago. Location is superb right at the edge of Temple bar along the River Liffey -downside its a party area so like most Hotels in this area dont plan to sleep until late as lots of noise from bars etc. Room was lovely with lots of nice touches -only big issues I had was in 12c Dublin coming from 32c Jakarta and central heating did not work-you have to call reception to get it switched on then it cuts off every hour and does not work again until you call reception-totally unacceptable for a 5 star Hotel . Ended calling them five times so not much sleep!! It was a Tuesday night so looked like one of the bars in the Hotel was shut-but lots outside anyhow. Did not have breakfast as last time I did was served-took ages and was cold-judging by recent reviews on tripadvisor looks like this still. Reception on check in and out would not win any prizes for their hospitality and were just ok-could learn from The Morrison across the river where I stayed a few nights earlier -genuine hospitality. Would I stay there again -NO -leave it to Bono and the locals -heat is a basic requirement as is hospitality-better Hotels for the same or less money to be had in Dublin City.
GGuest UserWas brought to the address by my husband on our 1st year anniversary. On arrival we where greeted and smiles and congratulations on our anniversary ❤️. We then went up to our room and where overwhelmed with it all. Flowers, Chocolates, persecco all layed out, thanks Trisha and the wonderful team for setting it up with so much attention to detail. Later that day we went down for our meal and it was delightful, from the moment of arriving we where sat and looked after. From the manager on the floor to Tais the lovely waitress which helped with recommendations of what to have. We could not of asked for a better get away thank you all so much and can't wait to see you all very soon.
GGuest UserI stayed in a 4 bed mixed dormitory. Beds were very clean, and there waa enough space to store my travel belongings. There was no noise from other rooms, and the shower and toilet inside the room was clean and functional too. 15 to 20 minute walk to Temple Bar, another 10 minute from Temple Bar to Trinity Collegr. Had no problem walking from the accomodation to other points of interests in Dublin. Overall, a great value for travellers. Tip: Do reserve breakfast. The bread is warm if you go in the opening hour, and you can eat enough to last for both breakfast AND lunch while walking all day. Save the lunch budget for better dinner.
GGuest UserLovely budget hotel about 20 mins walk from Temple Bar area. Upon arrival nothing was too much and a warm welcome from Diana , giving us a coffee as we had come in on an early morning flight. Rooms were clean and basic. Comfortable bed , lovely clean shower room with powerful shower. A bit tight for room but it was only a base to get our heads down and change. There is a vending machine for morning coffee … easy walk into town… just follow the tram tracks , and easy for the Guinness Storehouse and Jameson Distillery. Excellent value for money if you’re going to be spending most of your time away from the hotel , but comfortable enough to unwind for a few hours too.
GGuest UserWe arrived on time and there were only 3 car parking spaces outside, one of which was taken up by a service vehicle which had been there for five days and management hadn't bothered trying to move it. There are no staff on site and we were promised a code by email to get into the hotel but it never arrived. Eventually we got one by phoning a mobile number. The website told us we could get in to our room at 2pm but the cleaner didn't finish cleaning it until 3.30pm. The room was shabby and dusty and three storeys up with no lift and the beds were uncomfortable. The cost of a twin room with no breakfast was a ridiculously expensive 350 euros. The only facilities downstairs were a fridge and a microwave. At 9.45am, the cleaner rapped our bedroom door and asked us to leave. Check-out time was 10am. The so-called free Wifi didn't work. We met four other couples who were equally disgusted and frustrated. Avoid this hotel which is more like a badly run hostel.
