The designer is the director of the cultural and creative department of the Dunhuang Museum, and the entire space is designed to evoke a Dunhuang atmosphere. This treasured B&B is most worth recommending for two reasons: one is that it boasts the most beautiful view of Mingsha Mountain. The hotel was pretty alright, with a nice and big size room plus an in room washing machine (sadly, no dryer), it was a good choice. Apart from some improvement needed for checking in/ checking out process, the staff were friendly and helpful. We really appreciate the room upgrade and the late check-out services.

The overall experience is very good! First of all, the decoration and environment are very new and clean. The room size is right, the bed is just right, and the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, exactly as shown in the picture. Secondly, the owner's family is very nice, very friendly and hospitable! The owner often takes the initiative to call a taxi for us, and the breakfast made in the kitchen every morning is also rich and delicious! Then the cats in the homestay are also super cute, two very well-behaved babies. But the sound insulation doesn't seem to be very good. You can hear the sound of walking or talking in the corridor, but it's better than other guests not being noisy, so I'm still very satisfied! In addition to the restaurant, the homestay facilities also have a leisure area where guests can make their own postcards. The rooftop terrace is also a good place to watch the sunrise, sunset and the starry sky. It's just that the location is indeed a bit off. Although there are still many takeaway options and it's very close to Crescent Lake, just a five-minute drive, if you want to go to Crescent Lake to watch the sunrise early in the morning, you can basically not call a car. Other than that, everything else is very good. In short, it's still highly recommended!
