I have travelled a lot in China the last 5 years. This is probably one of the best hotels I have been. Clean, comfortable, close to everything, very nice staff. Have everything you need in the room. They leave you presents in the room, have all the free drinking water you need, free apples, just excellent welcome feeling. They go as far as pointing the shower head to the side everytime they clean the room so you don't get wet when you turn on the shower. More expensive and luxurios hotels have a lot to learn from these guys. Just excellent.

The hotel is newly renovated, very clean, and the decoration style is very comfortable and refreshing. The matching bedding is also very comfortable and the service is very good. Special thanks to Wang Xiaofeng at the front desk. The service was very enthusiastic. He helped us book performance tickets, answered all my questions, and recommended delicious restaurants. The service was exceedingly good at ZhongZhou hotel. I stayed with my wife and had a second room for my daughter and son in law. The lobby always had someone to open doors/press the elevator button for guests. What really stood out to me was the attitude of the workers. Breakfast typically starts at 7, when I mentioned I had to leave at 6:15, the worker at the restaurant told me to come early, and she would have it ready for me. Unfortunately no fitness center but the laundry room was a plus. There were also plenty of washing machines (no dryers). This hotel truly felt like a second home. The rooms and beds were also comfortable and clean. A fantastic stay overall, would definitely stay here again.

Metropark is a nice hotel located near a river and is relatively central to the city. A lovely staff member, 李雪 (Li Xue) helped me check in and she took me to my hotel room. Very affordable and great value for money with all the helpful front staff to housekeeping. Just around the corner is the street food with lots of restaurants n the Shahzhou nite Market is just 15 minutes walk away. I highly recommend anyone wishing to come to Dunhuang seeking reasonable and quality accommodation to stay here.

There are Xiajia He Juice and Huyang Braised Cake Shop nearby, which are delicious and large in quantity. I go to the Shazhou Night Market almost every day. The Mobei grilled fish, beef hand pilaf, stir-fried golden potatoes, beef cakes with scallions and apricot skin tea in Shazhou Food Station are all delicious. The hotel service is super good. I called one day in advance to ask about the check-in time. Due to the flight delay, I didn't know if I could check in that night. I called the airport to ask what to do if I arrived late or couldn't arrive on the same day. The front desk patiently answered my questions. Two cups of yogurt are given when you check in. Dunhuang International Hotel should be an official government hotel. I checked it out. It covers an area of ​​thousands of acres, a large manor, and several hotel buildings. 4. Buildings 2 and 3 are recommended. The rooms are good. When there are few people in Building 3, the breakfast will be taken to Building 2 by the shuttle bus. 5. The hotel is in good sanitation and has good toiletries, but some facilities are generally maintained, such as the washbasin, etc. The drainage may have some problems, which basically does not affect the use. 6. The breakfast quality is good, the service staff is also enthusiastic, and it has the basic level of the government state guesthouse. 7. It is close to Mogao Grottoes, 15 minutes drive from the city, and I went there several times in two days. The traffic is smooth. 8.
