Leopard Sands, Kruger Park

Amazing hospitality, fantastic stay. Managed to spot some Elephants and Hippos just outside the stay. The staff were amazing, service and food were excellent. Kudos to Anita for giving proving exceptional service and advice during our stay. Not forgetting the friendly Melissa always greeting us with her amazing smile. Our guide Santos was extremely knowledgeable and an amazing guide. Managed to see the big 5 on the first day.

Very awesome stay at leopard sands. Rooms were well appointed and clean; in fact they were cleaned every time we were out for game drives, including turn down service. Staff was very friendly - all of them without exception; they catered to all our requests and we were very well taken care of. Highly recommended!

One of the amazing places ever. The staff are super friendly and the food is another level of happiness, specially the pastries. The room is super comfy, and spacious. I got a river view room and got to see a family of elephants and some hippos. There are two pages of activities for sure I’ll visit again with my family to experience it all.

The staff are excellent! Everyone is simply the nicest people you will ever meet. MCNeil, KJ and Pastor at the front desk are helpful and prompt. David and Cossy in the restaurant are so attentive. And our game drive Jimmy was amazing. Almost everyone knows you by name. While we had a wonderful stay, there are a few things I would change. The rooms really aren’t suitable for families or traveling friends. The room is very open to include the bathroom, so my travel companion had to wait outside while I showered and vice verse. A shower curtain would help a lot. The food is delicious but also so fancy and rich. By day 5 I was craving a burger and fries. The mini bar in the room is not refreshed automatically - I guess you have to ask? I am not sure but I don’t like to bother or inconvenience so I didn’t say anything, but would be nice for things to be automatically replenished upon use.

What an amazing hotel. Marriott Leopard Sands definitely did not disappoint. From the moment we landed at Skukuza airport, May 2025, until we were driven back, we were totally taken care of. The staff, every single one, was amazing. The rooms were just lovely and so very well appointed. We were in suite #14, within minutes of arrival to our suite, 3 elephants came out of the trees into the Sabie River right in front of our deck. That became our normal each day, whether in front of our deck or in front of the dining area with the numbers of elephants increasing each day! There were usually 3- 6 hippos in the river everyday as well. As awesome as those sightings were, it was nothing compared to the Safari game drives each day. Our driver, Jimmy, was so knowledgeable and really made sure we had the experience we wanted each day. The drives were unforgettable, with each one being better than the last. By day 3 we saw the elusive leopard to complete our Big 5 sightings! At the hotel, the all inclusive meals were all delicious, not your typical all inclusive food. All meals are chef prepared and beautifully plated. We especially enjoyed breakfast each morning as soon as we returned from the morning safari drive. There were always drinks and snacks in the room mini fridge as well. If you needed some laundry done, no problem. Just drop it in the hamper and it was washed, dried, folded and back in your room usually by later that day depending on when you sent it out. As loyal Marriott members, currently Titanium Elite and formerly Ambassador Elite, we are very experienced in Marriott properties all around the world. We strongly feel that this is one of the BEST hotels we have ever stayed in. It's not just the safari drives, which was our big draw, it is the staff at the hotel. Each staff member from drivers to front desk staff, housekeeping to restaurant staff, security to the GM, could not have been nicer. We absolutely loved our 5 days at Leopard Sands and would definitely recommend this beautiful property to anyone looking at having the most unforgettable vacation of their lives!

Beautiful resort, super friendly staff, my daugther got sick and the manager Anita send her staff into town to get medicine for us. very appreciate and all the other staff is cuper friendly too from restaurant( Kurhula) service , front desk ( Pastor), house keeper!!!!
