With their friendly and professional guidance, they not only helped us fulfill our dream of seeing more than the Big Five, but also gave us an extraordinary experience in the wild. Although Lion Sands stay is not the cheapest option to explore Kruger National Park, it was worth every cent we paid. One small thing that would make Lion Sands perfect for me is if the gym equipment were more modern and varied. Highly recommended — we will definitely stay at Lion Sands again one day."

"The best decor for a hotel I have ever seen. It is quirky, and the room is very well laid out. The bathroom section was the best I have come across. I love the big windows and full blinds. There's a nice table and chairs to relax in. Room was clean and they were not shy with coffee and toiletry amenities. The staff are super friendly. I also love the little baggage wagons strategically placed on every floor. It was winter but I will be back to use the full length swimming pool in the summer!"

Asked for two lightbulbs to be replaced, and in the three days we stayed there they could not manage to replace them. "Got booked on a business trip here for one night.There is no juice a reception when you tell the receptionist they tell you to walk to pick and pay at 40 degrees heat. Ok, never mind that, lines to reception weren’t working just to go ask for an iron and ask reception to show me how to operate their air con which doesn’t have a remote. Personnel got sent and never greeted just switched the air con without bothering to demonstrate how it operates.Then got told “when you done with iron leave it outside NOW”!! I honestly can’t wait to checkout first thing in the morning and never look back!!!"
