The hotel room is too small and too small. The hotel has a lot of bathing water; the hotel does not provide equipment for boiling water. It is not suitable for Chinese people. Excellent location on seafront - only 20 minute stroll on promenade to the port & ”Portuguese Medina” with a nearby market selling fresh fruits and snacks. Ibis Budget is only a short 10 minute walk from a large Carrefour supermarket which also sells alcohol as well as foods. Ibis Budget staff all very helpful from Reception Staff to the cleaning staff who serviced the room daily! A little ”quirk” was the locking of the room from outside - insert the ”keycard” into the slot before closing the door - the door will then lock upon removal of the card. If in doubt, the helpful cleaning staff will show you the procedure! El Jadida still a little corner of Morocco that the European tourists have yet to ”explore” as the nearest airport is Casablanca. There is a 2 hourly train service from Casa Voyageurs with a journey time of only 90 minutes. If coming from Marrakech, book a 49 dirham (£4) advance ticket (normal price around £12) on the ONCF website - not bad for 250km trip compared to the ”normal fare”. Leaving Marrakech at 1450, changing trains at Casablanca Oasis station, arrival in El Jadida at 1905 with some spectacular scenery along the way in comfortable air conditioned coaches travelling at speeds up to 160km/hr! These trains run every 2 hours from Marrakech and provide a through service to Fes or by changing trains at Casa Voyageurs, Tangiers can easily be reached on the new ”Al Boraq” high speed service! This part of Morocco definitely a post-Covid relaxing place to enjoy +25° temperatures in February whilst the numerous storms bring chaotic scenes across Europe!..Thankyou Ibis Budget!

First of all, I arrived at 12:45 pm, and it was nice that they did an EARLY CHECK IN. The sea is right in front of the hotel, so the view is really nice. It was nice that all the staff were friendly. The downside is that the water temperature is not well controlled. Hot and cold water comes out alternately, which is a bit dangerous for children. And the gym is paid and children can't enter, so this was inconvenient. Overall it was very good.

What a lovely place. The view from the terrace is terrific. Often photos on *********** make accommodation look prettier than it really is, but there really is a magnificent view of the river, the city walls and city. The room was comfy and had everything I needed, including a heater, which was very welcome and a rare find during my travels. Breakfast was good (juice, tea/coffee, yogurt, cheese, several breads, jams and honey, and eggs had I wanted them). The staff were all polite, friendly and helpful. One met me at the gate to the medina to guide me to the place initially and kindly carried my backpack back there when I left. I really liked all the shelves in the bathroom too. Usually my things end up on the floor as few accommodation places seem to think of shelving for guests. The bathrobes were a nice touch as well. If I return to Azemmour, I'll definitely stay again. The art work in the various rooms of the building was a bonus too and lovely to look at.
