They do not allow you to buy coffee on the go unless you are a client of the hotel 😉 this says it all is believe about the level of customer service.

Beach is too busy and crowded with sun lounges and sun umbrellas. Impossible to enjoy the sun and sea here and the water is unfortunately not clear as there are far too many people for such a tiny spot. Shame! There's also a foul smell from sewage along the beach.

My family and I had an amazing week at the hotel. The beach was clean, the water crystal clear, sunbeds and towels were provided and we managed to get one for every day of our stay. The food at the restaurant was of great quality and variety. The room was exactly as shown, it was clean and tidy and very spacious. Special mention to Mrs Vasiliki, who looked after us at breakfast and dinner. Also special mention to Martinha and Andrea of the entertainment team, who made our son's stay memorable. Same goes to Barbora, Samuel and Olivia. They were all great.

We had a fantastic stay at the Anthemus Resort and would recommend it without hesitation. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable — exactly what you’d hope for on a relaxing holiday. The food was a pleasant surprise: high quality, fresh, and with plenty of variety every day. We had the half-board option and were more than satisfied. Our kids especially loved the beach and the activities at the kids’ club, which were fun and well-organized. A huge thank you to the entire staff for their kindness and professionalism — and a special shoutout to the amazing animation team: Martina, Samantha, Andrea, Barbora, and Samuel. They made the stay extra enjoyable for all of us. Overall, a perfect family holiday. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We visited as a family of 5 in July 2025. The hotel is immaculate and the staff friendly. The food is great, numerous choices and we can recommend the half board option. We were never bored by the selections or the variety from the live cooking station. To top it off we were given complimentary upgrades to suites that were fantastic. Rooms cleaned everyday and complimentary beach towels changed daily. There are 2 pools the one on the roof being quite quiet whilst the one near the beach was slightly busier, but most people used the sunbeds on the private beach that is only yards away. The pool has a no ball game or inflatable toy rule and the lifeguard enforces this quite strictly, this is absolutely not an issue as the sea is warm and the beach/sea is shallow for a considerable distance, so just go in the sea. There is nothing I can fault this hotel on, but being British I do have a slight niggle, the toaster in the dining room is rubbish, please invest in a new one that doesn’t take forever and can manage to brown both sides of the bread.

This is a lovely hotel providing modernised well designed rooms furnished to a high standard with quality linens and comfortable beds. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, while the wide variety of Greek food is some of the best we’ve tasted. Compliments to the chef and his team. They even have freshly squeezed juice at breakfast and a good range of tasty freshly ground coffees. I would have liked to have given the Anthemus a 5star rating, but our stay was spoilt by the many unruly noisy children running around the place. The buffet dining area was particularly bad with out of control children running about causing diners with plates of food in their hands having to try and narrowly dodge them in case of an accident. It seemed that most of the guests were large family groups from other nearby Balkan countries. I realise this is not the fault of the hotel, but unfortunately, I am sorry to say I would not recommend the Anthemus Sea Beach and Spa Hotel to anyone who wants a peaceful relaxing holiday.

The management is completely unprofesionall! We tried to change our room becouse it was very noisy (we could not sleep last night) and dark (no sun light during the day at all), and on the reception desk we get the answer that we have the room with sea view with extra charge, and fiew minutes later answer was we have no rooms to change at all!? At least they could try to help!

The spa is a true oasis – clean, calm, and beautifully designed. Mary and Angela were exceptional. Both are incredibly skilled and attentive – their massages were the perfect balance of relaxation and technique. I’ll definitely be coming back!
