"Eviting weekends, the pool is small"

"STAY AWAY!! What can be said? The name ruins is a perfect description! You follow Google Maps to your ‘Private parking’ as described on both Trip.com and ***********… You have to park illegally on a busy street to get out and enter through an entrance that doesn’t exist (actually you have to use the hotel entrance next door) to be told that the parking is nearly half a kilometre away down the street. When you come back from parking your car you are then told you also have to pay €10 for the parking which you were never informed anywhere. In fact when I contacted Trip.com, they said it was a breach of the Booking terms. Next you have a delight of being taken to your room through a derelict corridor and you feel like you are going to get mugged. The room may have been painted some point in the last decade but the design was clearly from several centuries ago. The terrace overlooks a delightful inner courtyard of several thousand other apartments and all their trash. Now for the real fun parts. The sound insulation is made of paper! You will hear every noise from every other room. People moving furniture, talking, snoring, people having sex, using the toilet, TVs… It’s as if the whole community is in one open plan room and that room is yours! How such places survive is beyond me. They also wanted me to pay tourist tax in cash… Probably another scam from this money grabbing thieving poor excuse for a hotel only come here if you want to have an awful night and feel terrible"

"Tidy and cozy room with amenities fully equipped. Located in a historical building close to both Ercolano Scavi Station and the Herculaneum Archeological Park. Staffs were nice and helpful, and even helped with carrying luggage up the stairs and provided softcopy map with detailed information around the area. Though contact was required beforehand, it was efficient and easy. View from the window inside the room was breathtaking as Mt. Vesuvius was right in front. For breakfast, it was at a nearby local cafe with great vibe, and staffs were also passionate and friendly. Was a great stay and definitely recommended. Thanks again to Salvatore's hospitality!"

La struttura è strategicamente ubicata vicino l'autostrada e ai collegamenti stradali più importanti. La stanza nuova, pulita, confortevole e con tutto perfettamente funzionante. My family and I stayed for 5 days in August 2025. For Raffaele and Ciro (the owners), hospitality isn't a duty, but a mission. Always friendly, helpful, and smiling, they pampered us and gave us all the best advice to make our stay perfect. The property is strategically located near the highway and major road connections. The room was new, clean, comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. Breakfast with local products and parking included in the rate. Thank you for everything, guys. "In my opinion, Palazzo Adele is the best place we ever stayed in. If we go to Ercolano again, it would be our only choice. The building is very elegant. The terrace on the 2nd floor (or 1st floor in Europe) is spacious. The parking is gated, only opened with a key fob. The room is spotless; I even feel comfortable walking on the floor barefooted. The owner is such a nice guy! When we arrived, he gave us a warm greeting. He also provided us with some great advice on how to go to visit Vesuvius and Pompeii, as well as where to eat. In fact, he printed out some useful information, which became our guidebook in the following few days. We went to the Herculaneum Site as he suggested, spent nearly 2 hours there, only covered 60% of the whole place. We followed his instruction to purchase the tickets to Vesuvius, and had a great trip there. We asked about restaurant, he suggested a few of them. We tried the best one on the list, Bistrot Italia, fantastic food, affordable price, nice wine, and impressive service. It was so good that on the day we left, we went there again. The location of Palazzo Adele is great! Walking distance to almost everywhere (the train station, the Herculaneum Park, restaurants, The Royal Palace of Portici, oh and an amazing gelato place). The neighborhood is nice. I remembered we walked through a short tunnel and there was not even a slight trace of urine smell in the air, which was very, very impressive. All in all, Palazzo Adele is a great place to stay. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the Naples and Pompeii area."
