I'll start with the bedroom:
- very small with a dirty and uncleaned shower, a shower tap that remains in our hand, impossible to close the water during the shower. Big bed but you can feel the springs. Light from the key all night long and light from the hallway that can be seen through the door.
The hotel:
- Housekeeping women are impolite: they vacuum at 7:30 in the morning talking very loudly to their colleagues.
- the location is very good, right next to the remains of herculaneum.
- very nice decoration of the common areas including sea view for the breakfast room.
- An elevator which takes 10min to go up to the first floor.
Breakfast:
- just 30 minutes for a simple hot chocolate that you have to ask for 5 times. We had however pre-filled a form with our desires for breakfast, what was the point. We arrive at the appointed time, we are told there is nothing left. Dishes are dirty, staff roll their eyes when we talk about it. Only the lady at the reception was able to receive us, the Mr at the reception in the morning took our remarks lightly, particularly concerning a cockroach at the reception.
In conclusion, you want to sleep in the morning, have a good breakfast don't come here.

The Herculaneum hotel is located right in front of the entrance to the excavations of Herculaneum, near the circumvesuviana station, very convenient for guests wishing to visit ancient Herculaneum. We had booked a double room, but they gave us a free upgrade, letting us stay in a very large triple. The room is clean and equipped with everything you need and so is the bathroom, with lots of towels and a large shower.
The satisfying sweet and savory breakfast is served in a beautiful room overlooking the sea and the excavations. The evening before, you need to communicate the chosen time and the foods you like, filling in a form, I think due to the Covid restrictions. Near the hotel there are many bars, pizzerias, restaurants and various shops for every need. In conclusion, an excellent stay in a pleasant and not expensive location. The staff is very courteous and prepared. Definitely a nice stay to recommend.

Staying in Ercolano and at this hotel was a very fortunate decision.Driving to Ercolano to stay, we were driving and avoided any confusing traffic. (We chose a, January visit which was a really good idea.)
This hotel has parking a block away, which you arrange by contacting the front desk staff. They are friendly, helpful and speak English well.
The hotel is directly across Hurculaneum! Our room (201)looked over the front gates.
Clean hotel, not fancy schmancy, but comfortable. Excellent price, and of course, off-season.
I ssuggest staying a few days... Hurculaneum one day, and train to metro to Naples and the Archaeological Museum. Train station is an 8 minute walk away, and takes you to Garibaldi/Central station, with Metro L1 to stop Museo. ( Metro was beautifully clean).
Hotel also has beautiful outside area for breakfast and lounging, but didn't relax long enough to enjoy. Next time!

The room was very small. Could barely walk around the bed and was worn. Frig didn't cool. Not what we expected from photos. The front desk lady was rude. The maid and food service staff were great and the breakfast was nice. The location right across from the ruins was perfect. Noisy at night with fireworks. It had lots of stairs and no view.

The property itself was fine. A bit outdated and older. Overall perfect for what we needed. Not the cleanest place and the area was not very busy and not well lit at night. It did not feel unsafe though. The area was not easy to get around without a car.
My biggest issue is with ******* as what we booked was not what we recieved at the site and ended up having to pay more than we already paid because our booking didn't match the actual property.

Hotel was very nice, only slight issue was we were missing one curtain so it was bright, but it didnt bug us enough to bring it up when we arrived. Would recommend
