Eugene bungalow Lovely older house with very nice vintage decor. Kitchen is very well prepared for any amount of cooking. Lovely bedrooms. Bathroom has nice shower. We didn’t use the back yard, but it is lovely. Yard is very well kept. We are accustomed to quiet, so it was a little busier than we are used to having, but that is about us. Very comfortable stay.

Not the Eugene i remember... Great House. Great Host. You can tell much thought and effort has been put into making this property special. Loaded with everything you will need to have a comfortable stay. Lots of great restaurants close as a 3min walk. And there lies the problem. This area is full of the homeless. People living in tents and vehicles right next to property. Garbage everywhere. The walks for food were scary. We were harrased everytime we left the house. Theres a constant threat to personal and property safety by the nonstop parade of vagrants around the house/cars all day and night. At checkin we were informed not to leave ANYTHING in our cars. For good reason, i found out. My heart goes out to the owner. It is a very difficult situation. If this house was located elsewhere i would rent it again. However when i do return to stay in Eugene it will be in a nice hotel. In a different part of town.Take what you want from my review. The tax paying residents of Eugene should be ashamed and embarrased by what that town has become.

House is nice but... Communication was poor. Host was not very tolerant of other peoples lifestyles

Short trip We stayed here for four nights. The house is so homey and amazing. My kids loved the board games. We had a friend over and had dinner at the amazing kitchen table. The couches and beds are all exceptionally comfortable. Everything is well stocked. The owner is great at communicating. The neighborhood is pretty typical Eugene. So it can seem a bit alarming but the location to everything is astounding. Sweet life bakery is right around the corner and has the most amazing dessert. Overall we loved our stay. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Beautiful house with everything we needed We really enjoyed the house. The internet was great and air conditioning was perfect during the heat wave during our stay. I don’t think the futon exists but the three beds were cozy and comfortable. I also loved the character of the old house, which has been updated with all necessary modern amenities. The backyard patio was perfect for visiting with some of my family while we were in town. We would definitely return if the house was available on future trips to Eugene.

Comfy, clean home We certainly enjoyed our stay in this home. We like older homes and this was a gem. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern with nice amenities. It is a neighborhood with homeless folks with some solicition and noise from these folks. Still, we would go there again. side alley..

This is a delightful place to stay. It is a very comfortable and cozy house to stay at. The beds and pillows were excellent, the heating/cooling unit worked well, and it was a very well stocked kitchen. It is a roomy 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in a very walkable neighborhood. The best part might be having Sweet Life Patisserie just a block down the alley.
