Really impressed with the modern rooms and the Management! Nothing was too much trouble for them; friendly, professional operation!. High quality appliances and furnishings; everything was spotless. Studio 1 was a larger room with its own kitchette - however, full kitchen/washing amenities are available to all. The Courtyard seating area is a great finishing touch (with an area for any smokers, too). Would definitely stay again! The guys have got a smooth operation running, with great comms and easy code door access.

Fabulous place to stay with all your needs catered for, clean, comfortable and welcoming. Lovely comfy bed! Only problem was the noise outside at the front so best to book an inward facing room. We thought we’d done that by booking a ‘garden view’ but that actually meant facing the communal green at the front. Otherwise really lovely, great location central for town etc. and good shared facilities with a nice kitchen and outside area.

Fantastic location, lovely room, comfortable bed and brilliant shower. The resident’s kitchen was handy and stocked with tea, coffee, and plenty of crockery/pans etc. Living room area was nice, and had a small library of games available. Overall had a very charming feel to the place.

We had a lovely stay at Melbury, the whole building was so clean and well presented with Studio 7 being exactly as described. Located within walking distance to Exeter City centre and all Exeter has to offer, it was the perfect place to stay and we felt right at home. All instructions on how to check in etc were easy to follow and Elliot is very friendly proactive manager. We will be returning.

Clean, efficient with everything you might need at hand. It's in the city and was a short stay for us. Everything was well organised and clean. Common areas included a garden as well as a meal preparation area. Studio Room was a good size for a couple. Book direct and save.

I stayed a few days a week for 5 weeks and I really liked this place. It's clean, well equipped, conveniently located, and well run. Communications are great and they are always ready to sort any issue you may face. I have no doubt I would return.

I appreciated the courtesy phone call I received from Melbury Rooms & Studios on our day of arrival to check that we had received the check-in details they had emailed to us the previous day listing our room number and access code. When we arrived, the staff were very welcoming. Our studio was ideally located, just a short a short walk from the centre of Exeter. The studio was spotlessly clean and had a large kitchen area with an induction hob, microwave and fridge freezer. Crockery and cutlery were provided. The room had a dining table and comfortable sofa. This area joined on to a separate bedroom which had a very comfortable double bed. There were plenty of hangers and drawers for our clothes. The bathroom had an excellent shower. Although it wasn't a problem, I would have liked to have been informed in advance that complimentary tea and coffee weren't provided with the kettle in the room.

The place was excellent. Really clean and very well organised. The building felt very quiet at the different times when we were in. It was spacious and with everything we needed. I would recommend it for a short stay or even a longer one. The area is really close to the city centre, just a walk away. And easy to park overnight nearby.

The location is perfect: near the centre but in a relatively quiet street. The building is quaint inside and outside. The communal kitchen and lounging areas are a welcome bonus. The studio we stayed in was super clean and cozy incorporating a tiny but properly equipped kitchenette. The staff was helpful and swift to respond to any requests. Plus, the price was reasonable. Overall, I can warmly recommend this place.
