Sophie was very friendly, professional and helpful when we arrived. There should be more people like her :-) Also, the other lady working with her was just as good, but unfortunately didn't get her name. The room had recently been refurbished and felt fresh.

It was excellent to bring our pet parrot with us. I asked before on the website chat if a bird was acceptable. He's not too good with new places, but as it was pretty quiet, we all had a good stay. Exeter Travelodge is in a good location for our needs. Easy access by the M5 services with free parking for guests. Our room was recently refurbished and fresh and clean. All the usual facilities needed. I had an issue with the WiFi and Shaun at the desk sorted it out quickly and professionally. Have stayed here before and will again.

Hot breakfast would make the hotel 5 green dot's, but having to drive off down the road at 7 for food was an inconvenience

Travelling alone, arrived after dark. I was able to park in reasonably close to the hotel entrance. Friendly reception staff checked me in without delay and gave directions to newly refurbished room which was close to reception. Receptionist requested and welcomed any feedback regarding refurbished room. Breakfast to go box info provided and was collected easily next morning. Room was comfortable, clean and fresh.

Midweek overnight stay, arriving late into the evening. Found ample parking space at no additional cost, most travelodges and Premier inn now charge. No noise inside or from the outside of the building. Room and bathroom very clean for overnight stay, rooms had just been updated.

Booked this Travelodge as it was the cheapest place we could find near Exeter. Couldn't quite decide whether the 70s bedroom and bathroom fittings/decor were amusing or just depressing. On a positive note, the room looked like it had been re-painted recently, and the beds were fairly comfortable. For some reason, this Travelodge only offers a rather naff and overpriced takeaway breakfast. We drove down the road to the Beefeater for breakfast, but I wouldn't recommend it.
